Been meaning to check this spot out for a while and ended up going for my girlfriends birthday. Had us wait 15 minutes upon arrival for our reservation we got their on time, no biggie. Didnt fill up our water glasses once, no biggie. The caulilini was undercooked and damn near rock hard, I ordered this on waitresses suggestion. Wish I ordered something else the moment I took a bite. The duck breast was dry the sauce was broken and damn near impossible to cut with a butter knife. charged us for a desert we didn't even ask for and no comp on drink or anything for birthday. Valet had me park my own car charged me 12 bucks and didn't open doors on the way in or out pasta was delicious. Left feeling like I got played. I still tipped well regardless of service but I've never left a restaurant feeling disrespected like I did tonight.

Such a fun place!! It doesn’t open until 5:00pm which we don’t realize and we got there early. Make sure to get the prosciutto appetizer 😋

Easy valet service on the property. good, but not exceptional Italian cuisine. Great cocktails, though. Service was just not welcoming from the reception to the three different servers. Courteous, yes, but we didn't really felt welcomed. overall a nice experience with good food.

The a/c didn’t work the whole night and we all sweat through our entrees. Love love love factory kitchen. Work in the building come all the time. Had my whole family join this time and I was disappointed that we all had to sweat and eat hot food

We were here for a business lunch and it couldn’t have been a better setting. We definitely (unintentionally) stayed past their lunch closing time but they were gracious and the food/ drinks were delicious.

A favorite, we love introducing friends to this original DTLA Arts District gem and our go-to for pre-Music Center performances. Tried some new dishes (shrimp ravioli, mushroom focaccina) and old favorites (frittura, Casonzei, and their ethereal pesto dish in particular) as well as cocktails (Olo Rosso and the Nux & Roll were keepers) a lovely Arneis. We enjoyed everything. I’m going to try to recreat that Olo Rosso for sure! The focaccina was more like a Sardinian flatbread, nice and light & crisp. And the shrimp ravioli in a lightly thickener seafood stock was delicious. Life is not perfect and things happen but rest assured that any hiccups will be handled by the stellar service. Looking forward to our next trip back!

We have been in LA for 2 weeks. We decided to visit Factory Kitchen at the last minute on our last night. The valet situation seems a bit odd since there is s full parking lot and you can just park your own car, but we paid the 13 to have a guy hop in our car and park it right where we could have parked on our own. Once inside it is s bit noisy and dark, but after we moved past all that, everything else was amazing. We loved our drinks, the food was outstanding! We were so happy we found this little gem. For a party of 2 our bill came to 105. We each had 1 drink and shared a pizza and a pasta dish and finished with s shared dessert. They were kind to split the pasta into two plates before bringing it to the table. It was the perfect amount for two people. We would definitely return!

Generally service and food were good. The handkerchief pesto pasta still hits. While we enjoyed the meal, the prices have noticeably increased like at many restaurants here in LA, so if you're dining there just know that. In terms of ambience: when me and my husband arrived to have our 1st wedding anniversary dinner, it was towards the later end on a Sunday night. Half the restaurant was empty, so we anticipated a chill lowkey dinner. Unfortunately, the host sat us right next to the loudest table in the restaurant. We should have requested a more private or quieter section, but by the time we got our water and placed our order we realized too late. For the rest of our meal, it was hard to have a conversation and enjoy our night with the loud foursome reminiscing about their frat/college days and sharing uncomfortable stories, including one about a woman grabbing their "junk" (no, they were not in their 20s). At one point, one of the men shared their discomfort with a certain type/level of "gay", so regrettably the audible homophobia made our anniversary celebration one that we wanted to end as quickly as possible. We ended up paying our bill and getting out of there before they did (and they were already getting through dessert when we sat down). I know this is not completely on the restaurant. They can't control who eats there but why seat two people next to a loud group if the rest of the tables are either empty or quieter? Again, our meal and server were fine but the experience was not enjoyable and we don't anticipate going back anytime soon.

Sadly, I don’t remember our server’s name, but she was amazing. She had great recommendations and knew the menu very well. The place is aesthetically pleasing and very clean. Noise level was fine, I was able to speak with everyone in my party without yelling- we were a party of 9. Moving along to drinks, they were “Instagram worthy”, but I couldn’t t taste the alcohol in the drink. I don’t know if not tasting the alcohol is a good thing or if they were being skimpy with the pours. So for food, we all loved the prosciutto, and carpaccio. One of my friends ordered the handkerchief pasta and the pasta dish with rabbit, they really liked both of those. The seafood pappardelle dish was also very liked by another friend in my party. Additionally,the pork belly was good, but I would recommend you order some pasta on the side. Lastly, the casonzei was not a favorite. Overall, I recommend this place.

Price + quality = Moderate. Last time i ate here was during the pandemic, and food (i had a pasta dish of some kind) that was salty. My dish last night (duck) was salty again. I know what savory tastes like (such as there Prosciutto), and i know it does not taste like a cup of salt. Service was a bit hovering, until i said something. Ironically, waiter was all over topping off my glass of water -- but when it came to the beer -- i am given a bottle and glass -- no pouring service on that!?!. Place was loud, but not buzzing with chatter -- loud from the speakers blasting music (luckly, the speaker was directly above me!). Did not have dessert, i could not hear my friend -- we went elsewhere. Total meal with tax $123.7 for two main dishes, an appetizer, ice tea, and one beer. Price in line with a 2022 Michelin rating, but for 2023 -- new rating is over due.
