Our first visit. It was Sunday lunchtime. Extremely nice meal and the meat, (one beef and one lamb), was cooked to perfection.

Very friendly pub with a fascinating history in a charming village. Good selection of ales and well-cooked traditional pub grub.

Well prepared food served in front of a log fire as the restaurant was occupied by a quiz night. Very helpful staff in a fine old pub located in a delightful village.
