The Waterfront restaurant is the best Prince Rupert has to offer and is very good. There is a wide selection of food choices, a decent wine list, a friendly service staff and…wonderful deserts.

This restaurant wasn’t easy to find. It’s inside the Crest Resort. The restaurant overlooks the port however the restaurant is very dated as is the hotel. The menu was fairly priced and we both ordered entrees. Food portions are way too BIG and I regret not sharing our food. I asked for my bacon crispy and it wasn’t undercooked. The pancakes were delicious. My only complaint was about the service. She was a space cadet and not attentive at all. I asked 3 times for an ice water. We finished our food and had to track her down to get a check. I wouldn’t return if we came to Prince Rupert again.

We had an amazing time at The Crest. Our server was one of the best ever - from all our travels. Is the food expensive - yes. But it is really really good. It was a highlight of our weekend in Prince Rupert.

Food was great. Seafood chowder, Carpaccio, Caesar Salad and the double lobster tails were amazing. The Seafood Spaghetti was very tasty but the seafood was overcooked. Service started out extremely good until the tables filled up and the lack of staff showed. Overall well worth the visit, a must go and taste.

It was so delicious! We had the mussels in white wine sauce and the halibut cheeks in lemon caper sauce. It was perfect. Then we finished off with sharing a deep fried ice cream 😋

We asked a local chef in Prince Rupert where to eat seafood (not just fish and chips), and she recommended The Crest. Our experience was superb. The scallop spoons were outstanding, and a clear highlight of the meal, but the Fisherman's spaghetti was absolutely delicious also, together with a Caesar salad. We also had the creme brulee for dessert, and it was one of the best ever. Our server was very knowledgeable, and recommended an excellent wine to go with our meal. It was a wine new to us: Dirty Laundry Hush Rose. Excellent.
