    Charming old building with lots of character. Lovely history behind The Courthouse restaurant. The view of the water was quite serene and the outdoor ceiling fans helped with the heat. We were very well attended by friendly staff who were most helpful. The meals were delicious and beautifully presented.

    I’ve been going to the Courthouse restaurant for many years for special occasions. The staff are always wonderful and friendly. The food was delicious and very well prepared. There was a function outside which periodically got noisy. The staff, however, were regularly checking in to make sure we were comfortable and the noise wasn’t interrupting, We went for a birthday celebration this time, and the staff put a birthday message and a candle on our dessert, which was a lovely touch. It isn’t a cheap night out, however, the food is delicious and overall it is worth it

    The food and service was excellent. We have dined here many times although not since covid. Disappointed I was unable to order a mains on its own, had to order 2 courses $77 pp ( which I never do because I can't eat that much). The pianist was quite loud, the toilets need some TLC, dirty finger prints on doors and not in great condition, the vase behind us had very old water in it ( brown cloudy water) .

    The only thing that stops me giving 5 stars is that there is only provision for a 2or 3 course set meal. In our group of four, my husband and I had mains and desert. (2course set meal)Other male person only had one main meal and the other female, entree (+for serving it with our main meals) and dessert. We didn’t ask for a concession, but the system doesn’t allow for flexibility in eating habits.

    Service when we arrived was prompt. Water and drinks waitress was lovely. Main course was delicious and delivered pretty quick. Then we had to wait for ages for dessert order to be taken. Waitress said they were busier than usual as they had a wedding and students that were celebrating graduation. So overall we enjoyed our lunch

    Went there for our Anniversary & Birthday celebration.Booking easy online.We dined at lunchtime and were both really happy with the whole experience.Only 1 waiter on and it wasn’t exceptionally busy but he attended very well to everyone’s needs.Food was outstanding.I had the Seafood Supreme and my husband had the grilled Barramundi.Both meals came with vegetables.We ordered fries for the fish but it was way too much!Meals were very generous in size.We shared the Vanilla Bean cheesecake!Yum yum.Can’t believe why it’s been so long since we dined here.Now I want to go back & work my way through the menu!Next time will be for dinner so we can experience all the pretty lights on the verandah.Very happy & satisfied with everything!!

    Hi every time i go to the court house for a special occasion the staff are welcoming and friendly the service is amazing such a spoiling experience for my guests the food is always fresh and appetising 5 star service at its best . having said all that it was from previous experience as my accountant stood me up so i didnt get to enjoy a meal there ! i have rebooked for . next week : }}Trouble

    This is a very speck restaurant. The service and food are acceptional, the value is great. The setting and ambience is gorgeous. We keep going back for all of our special occasions. I wouldn't think anyone could fault this stunning restaurant.

    The staff were very efficient and helpful. The food was awesome and great value for a 5 star restaurant. We went with the 3 courses. They were perfect. The portion of each serving was perfect. The chefs there down awesome job. Our food was also served in great time. We didn't wait too long for each serving. The staff were very professional and they cleared our dishes as we finished them. We will be back.

    My nephew from the Nederlands was here on an almost annual visit, so during his stay, dining at the Courthouse is top of his list of ‘things to do’! As usual, we thoroughly enjoyed our evening with the fine food, wine and impeccable service. Compliments to all the Courthouse staff.

    Whenever I am in the area I take the opportunity to dine at the Courthouse restaurant. It has been 2 years since the last time and what struck me was that the food was even better than I remembered. The Chef is to be complemented. The ambiance speaks for itself and I found the person who attended me to be friendly and welcoming. There was no sense of hurry but waiting time for the meal was not entended. It was just right and a chance to enjoy a glass of wine while taking in the view. Thank you for another memorable experience.

    Our meal was absolutely beautiful, I’m going to say the best meal I’ve ever had out at a restaurant. From service to scenery to our meal outstanding. We loved every part of it and will make the return for many more anniversaries. Thank you so much x

    Could not have been improved upon. Excellent in every respect. Probably the best filet mignon I've ever had, for flavour & tenderness. Great choice on a varied menu. Service was polite, unobtrusive and appropriate

    Loved the 2 or 3 course menu option at a set price. Really enjoyed all meals- Barramundi was perfect! Liked sitting in the ‘cell’ area as it was more intimate.

    The Courthouse is such a special place for a celebration. And (as a coeliac) most dishes are GF or GFO without any loss of flaavour. Just fantastic
