The Interior design was handled by owner, HGTV alum designer, Doug Hines.

Deck entrance is on West Peachtree St. 15 Feet from the 10th corner, on the right hand side.
Enter The Consulate parking courtyard and circle the water fountain into the garage. No tows, no boots, ever.

We always make a point to come for every new passport menu and made it just in time for the last day of Japan. As always, had a fantastic time. The food and drinks were delicious, our server Ken was wonderful, and the ambiance and music is always perfect. Looking forward to Papúa New Guinea!

Food wasn’t that great. Service was decent. It was better the last time we went. I restaurant this expensive also needs proper menus. Damaged paper with a staple doesn’t cut it.

What a fabulous culinary experience in a beautiful and romantic setting. Drinks are creative and delightful. The black truffle bulgogi is glorious! We also loved the Korean bbq duck confit and Kawasaki unagi, which is on the Japanese experience menu. We will definitely be back!!

Cocktails incredible. Ambiance and concept is so enjoyable. Food concepts are incredible and some are executed extraordinarily well others just good or average. Our server was very nice and sweet, very attentive, but knew about half the menu - she may have been new. Would definitely recommend for the experience and it’s always changing, but, it can feel overpriced if the kitchen delivers a dish that is just ok.

A good portion of our produce is hand picked from the Buford Hwy, and the Dekalb Farmers markets. We can often source cheaper produce, but Chef Lin is VERY selective in what we will serve our guests. The server did not come by until 20 minutes after we were sat and we had not received any water at any point during our wait. We ended up leaving the restaurant and the server was complaining to the hostess!

I am actually glad you wrote. I got word of your experience just after you left and was hoping to be able to reach out. I truly apologize for the long delay in service. We are down two servers this weekend due to them getting bumped from their flights back to Atlanta. Buddy passes are the worst. Each server had 3x the typical guests to tend to and you suffered the worst of it. I do wish you demanded to speak with management to vent prior to exiting. I would have done our best to make up for the hiccup. If you decide to give us another try, I am sending you a text directly with my personal cell. Your next visit will be a red carpet one.

Jordan is the best server ever! I came on Tuesday night and made another reservation for dinner on Wednesday. Staff was so welcoming and friendly which made our experience even better. We went with his recommendations and it was amazing. Great and unique dining experience

Donny was amazing! He was so knowledgeable about the items on the menu and made great recommendations for my dietary restrictions. Ambience was top tier, music was a vibe and I’m still dreaming about the scallops and butternut squash purée. 10/10 experience.

Cherry was an outstanding server. It took us 30 minutes to find where the place after we parked was so we were a quite frustrated due to that, plus it was my birthday we wanted to have a good time. Cherry eased our frustrations and was so welcoming and kind. She was patient with us and took us through the menu very thoroughly. Food was delicious. We will come back for their next destination!

I’ve been coming here for years and have never once been let down. Amazing food ambience, and excellent customer service. The cocktails are top-notch and from all over the world. It’s also great for business dinners, dates, or just casual get together’s. I’d say one of the best ways to either start or end your night.

Intimate and original dining experience. Really passionate staff and you can tell that the kitchen has a lot of fun coming up with new dishes for each region. Highly recommend visiting each time they swap countries.

We’re not impressed for service or food. We waited at bar and had a drink - two old fashioned s took a very long time. Finally sat, server was inattentive complaining of short staff. Ordered green beans, plantains and Cambodian beef ribs. 45 min for app and the entree arrived less than 2 minutes later. Server didn’t show up to check on us until we were done eating. We discussed that we couldn’t finish appetizer (mediocre at best) and so they comped appetizer and offered wine and dessert then later changed and said no wine, and just a brownie for dessert. Inattentive service with mediocre at food. Drinks were inconsistent and also mediocre at best. Many better restaurants in Midtown.

Unfortunately, prior to your arrival, we had a group of 15, fill up our bar. The bar was still crafting their drinks, which is why your order did not have a faster turn around. Your server was not "complaining of short staff", but letting you know that we had a few critical members unable to get in today and his service would be slower than normal. Your server had to serve double the tables he normally would. You wanted the complimentary toasts that you received, changed to wine. We declined. We are sorry that we had 3 team members out today. One was out of town, one was moving and one did not feel his best and we suggested he stay home. Our stellar team is human. We understand. Most guests are understanding. Some are not. We welcome understanding guests.

So I’ve been to the consulate before. What I’ll say is there’s some things they do well and others not sp much. Changing your menu so frequently allows you to have a fresh exciting menu, but the downside is that sometimes the staff cannot answer questions about composition of dishes, recommend favorites with confidence, etc. That considered what I will say is I should have only gotten the chopped cheese. Seriously. As a New Yorker, it was like the bodega grew up and added some truffle aioli and potatoes. It was perfect. I’d go back weekly for that. 10/10. Everything else I had was just ok.

Waitress had no idea what to suggest on the menu…she didn’t know anything about the drinks or beer. I asked her what a favorite was and she brought it out not telling me it was a beer made of rice water which ended up tasting like sake and looking like fermented milk. Such a disappointment, then I asked for another beer and she immediately thought I wanted the other beer taken off our bill when I never asked for her to do that. I honestly just wanted a normal beer and for the other one to be removed from the table because it smelled.

Gorgeous dining room. Food was really interesting and good. Main improvements are dessert menu needs redone. We tried two things and didn’t love them. Also they need to real menus. But highly recommend going!

Chicken thigh was sour and over-gingery. Steak was good. Edamame and potato balls were so so. Drinks overpriced and too much basil garnish made it look like soup. Service was good.

The "Wasabi Lime Chicken" has - lime. Our craft cocktails are $15 (as most restaurants in midtown at our quality level.) Quality items are never cheap. The leaf was Shiso leaf, not basil, and is a component of the cocktail, not really a garnish. Thanks for the feedback

The service was a bit slow, I think they were short staffed. We waited for maybe 15/20 mins at our table before a server came over to take our orders. I thought maybe it was because we had brought drinks from the bar while we waited for our table. It may have thrown things off? It seemed explainable, but that was the only down side. Once things got rolling it was a great experience. The food and drinks were amazing. One of the best meals we’ve eaten hands down. Hoping to be back soon!

I made a reservation for my girlfriends birthday, this was a whole experience that I would recommend for anyone who loves food. We will be back at least every 3 months for the new menus and maybe even sooner to try the options that are more permanent on the menu.
