Everyone is welcome to the table! A great place for parties too.
we arrived about 5 mins late for our table which no one seemed to query us for. however when we sat I noticed that our table was still dirty, however once i mentioned this to staff they came straight over and cleaned it for me and did apologise for it being dirty.
really pleased with the food and the help we received from the staff as we were not sure on portion sizes and what the general guidelines are when ordering food.
the food was well priced and very tasty will be returning some time in the future
Food was ok. Service was terrible. Came out in need of a drink!
Top notch food. Amazing service. Would be back again for sure
Il locale è molto carino, i camerieri cordiali,. Il serviIo offerto è veloce e piacevole.
Il cibo è buono e ben preparato, ma nulla di eccezionale.
The staff were very happy smiley and helpful. Food and drinks were amazing.
Would recommend it 100%
Booked in here for a friends hen night and it proved to be a perfect spot on a Thursday night. The food was great and lots of choice to suit all dietary needs plus not expensive either. Highly recommend the pina colada cocktail. Tye staff were amazing and so were the other patrons helping our hen celebrate. We all have plans to return
After many years of looking, it was a pleasure to find Sri Lankan cuisine outside London. The food was so good that we ordered some take-always to take home for future enjoyment. Thanks to Dominic for looking after us so well!
Great food and well priced. Good vegetarian and vegan options
Tasty dishes and good choice without being too much choice.
Service a little slow for drinks and a few key things on the menu had run out. Great value and would visit again
Excellent food as always, friendly staff and fun atmosphere
This was perfect for a late dinner and cocktails after the theatre. Great service, fab music and interesting food to boot. Definitely recommend!
The food is so delicious, and has So many vegan options!
Very average. There are many better options in this part of town.
my partner and I were both amazed at how much options there was on the menu. Especially considering we are both Vegetarians and gluten intolerant. As an added bonus the staff are very friendly and helpful. I would fully recommend.
Wonderful food - we had visited the Cheltenham branch previously so knew it would be good.
But, very disappointed with our service. We had booked weeks in advance and were very unhappy to find we could not sit at the table reserved for us. Our table had to be the worst in the venue, constant draft from the opening door and felt like we were in a corridor. We asked to move - there were empty tables - but the manager did not help.
Also, ferociously noisy, making conversation impossible.
Sorry, but not a winner for me.
Excellent food. Constructive feedback regarding service was handled well by the Manager.
Great food. Never been before but will be going back and also recommending to the rest of the family to visit.
Service was slow and the restaurant felt like it had been overbooked.
Food was delicious. Very busy (as expected for valentines day), although this did mean service was a tad slow, especially to get our bill. But as I said, this was expected, and we would certainly go back!
Delicious food with a fantastic choice of vegan and non-vegan dishes. Tapas style dishes allow you to try a good variety, especially if you’re sharing with others! The prices are very reasonable which I love. Two dishes, a side, a dessert and an alcoholic drink can be as cheap as about £20! The service was great and the staff were very attentive and efficient. Expect it to be busy, especially on a Friday or Saturday night so book a few days in advance so you’re not disappointed!
100%. The staff were freidnly, the food was amazing and there were so many options for veggies and vegans.
Dishes not served at the same time - normally not a problem, but on this occasion over an hour between the first and last dish being served, multiple dishes missed while others served twice. Had to constantly chase the staff to receive our correct order. Food excellent when it arrived.
great food, great service. The staff made some recommendations of what to order and the dishes were incredible.
Food was great, staff where friendly, helpful and very informative.
Went on a Friday evening, food was good but the service speed could have been better. Need more waiting staff to attend busy hours
Lovely relaxed fun place to eat. Ellie looked after us v well helping with our food choices too! Lots of veggie options.
Lovely food! Good ambiance although perhaps a little busy at 7pm on Saturday evening if you’re having a quiet evening dinner.
Service was a shame but, understandable as it was so busy. Could have done with another server.
I’d read / heard good things about this restaurant and was really disappointed!! The food was average and overpriced! The ambience was hectic and took ages to get a drink! Food arrived before our drink! The music was to loud and overall had a bad experience
Great relaxed vibe, some super tasty dishes and friendly service
If you have't been yet, you really have to go!
Top dishes: Cheesy Colombo, Cashew curry, Fat Sister and the Kottu.
Food was excellent - service was fab. Unfortunate mishap with food being spilled into my bag on clearing the table but management dealt with it quickly and have since followed up with an email to confirm it will be cleaned at no cost to myself.
Nice Sri Lankan restaurant in Bristol triangle with good vibe. We got lots and lots of small dishes to share amongst the group.
Drinks only! Drinks and service was great! The food...not so much. Taste was not good, the delivery of the food was off, ate all the tapas with one lot of japatis/rotis was wait too long for the other lots of rotis ordered...the special pancakes came one by one when we ordered 4 and would have liked to try them all at the same time. mixed messages from the kitchen states one did wasn’t being sent out because the chest wasn’t happy so they would give us a sub but then sent out the original dish...a bit of a mess really. However drinks and waiter was great he has a lot of banter and the cocktails tasted good...still all four of us woke up with a funny tummy the following day!
Having been here before my daughter and I recommended this for our book club. Food took over an hour to come while everyone around us was getting served, eating and leaving! When our food came out it came in drips and drabs with things going cold while waiting. Later found out there was a problem in the kitchen with our order not being put through but nobody bothered to tell us. Waiter was then rude. Also when we specifically checked how spicy our dishes are we were told we were safe with what we'd ordered. So not true of the chick peas! Overall a shame as the food is nice. Also too noisy in there to hear each other.
I love the food here but would say that the service needs a little work, you can be waiting quite a while to be served and then are not recommended well enough on what to order or how much.
But I always enjoy coming and lovely cocktails!
The food here is so fresh and incredibly tasty! I love it here and often take friends who haven’t been before and they love it. The vegan options are brilliant too so something for everyone and really reasonably priced :)
Have been here several times now and it is becoming a real favourite! Often quite quiet on a lunch time and the place has a lovely chilled atmosphere, and staff are very attentive. Food comes out really quickly and is so gorgeous and such a good range of choices! Have been with just two of us a few times, but for Christmas we went as a group of 18 and the food and service was incredible! Some of the dishes are quite spicy, but ordering the rotti helps if you struggle with spice.
Great selection of food, nice atmosphere just a little slow on the service and drinks but it was a very busy Saturday, even at 6pm
Lovely food. Great service! Must try the egg hoppers!
When you read a review like this you can often think ah must of got a friend to post it but no no no this was a fantastic dinning experience and the goat curry was to die for...
