   Sadly - not that great. I was looking forward to this meal but it fell flat. Several dishes and seafoods were sold out. Service was spotty - we waited 20 minutes for our server to greet us. Not sure I will go back.

   Your reservation means nothing here. Second time I’ve been and was seated 30 mins after our reservation both times. Took another 15 for the waiter to come over. Not sure if they’re short staffed or not. Seems crazy considering how packed this place is. Ordered a Manhattan which is a staple. Came out different each time. Included an orange peel the second time, might have gotten confused with an old fashioned who knows. The food was solid and the view and decor is great. Only saving grace. Will come back if there’s room in the bar for apps and drinks but dinner is out.

   It's the noise level for me. This restaurant is so loud. Is it a bar or is it fine dining? Why not separate the two? If you're looking for a quiet date night, skip The Choptank. If you're looking for a place to party with friends at a bar with great views, it's likely your spot. We were also disappointed in the service. We were bussed so hard, we had food in our mouths and the bus people were asking to clear plates. Drinks were far behind the appetizers. Food was good and the portions are enormous. If you're a small plate person, try something else in Naptown. There is nothing small about a single item on the menu. The waiter told me everything was "big" when I inquired. I felt so intimidated we ordered salads, skipped a main, and left disappointed.

   It was our anniversary dinner, reserved about a month in advance. We were seated in an noisy booth 25 minutes late behind the bar were servers placed orders and picked up drinks. We did not want to spend our special night this way, so we told the waiter we were leaving. Choptank then wrote us down as a no-show. We weren’t expecting 5-star service, but for what they do charge, this was garbage service and treatment. O’Leary’s took us in immediately, and the owner bought the house a round - they had exceptional food and service for the same price.

   Everything was great, serve was attentive and more than willing to accommodate. Even offered a table adjustment to protect our privacy. Chilean Sea bass, carrots and mashed was excellent. Bar serve was great. My wife and I will be back.

   Food and service is outstanding. On site manager was wonderful. Unfortunately the noise level is very high. Band playing did not help. It just added to the noise.

    The service at the Choptank was outstanding. The wait staff is gracious and attentive. The food is very good. My only complaint is that for the cost, the portions are small and the beverages were overpriced. Notwithstanding the above, I would visit again as the setting and atmosphere is terrific!

    Too loud. We were downstairs away from the band but the noise level was so loud we couldn’t hear each other. The waitress was nice and tried to accommodate. For the price of the food, it was just okay.

    Had a girl power business lunch! Everything was fantastic as always!!! Service was impeccable- very attentive. I usually get the crabcake, but tried the lobster salad-- it was AWESOME!!!

    Very nice atmosphere 4-stars. The music is too loud. Our food: crab dip had oil floating on top. We mentioned it to the server, and he dismissed it. The food: fries and calamari was almost cold. No cake for a birthday celebration. I was hoping my experience would rate higher than 2 stars. It was not crowded.

    This was the first time either for both my friend and myself. The server we had was excellent but the loud speakers made it almost impossible to talk. Our reservation was for 5:45 and we hadn’t anticipated being deafened that early in the evening. The food was good but very expensive and it’s unlikely that we will return.

    The space is absolutely gorgeous. Food was very good. Our waitress was very nice and professional but had a lot of tables which resulted in slow service.

    The Choptank should be great, but several things detract from its desirability. The noise level is off the charts. It is so unbearably noisy, I will not return if I have to sit inside. It was so loud, everyone was shouting over everyone else. I could barely hear my server, let along my dinner companions. It was truly awful. Second, there could be a little more menu variety, especially in the salads department. There's just not a lot to choose from. Third, the artichoke appetizer was inedible and we sent it back. There was no "heart" to eat - just the leaves, which one cannot eat. The shrimp ceviche was pretty good, but there were only 4 small taro chips served with it. We had to ask for more, and the chips actually weren't very good anyone - they had no flavor and didn't complement the ceviche at all. The mussels were fine. My son had steak and liked it.

    The food and service were very good. But the food came out very fast and we felt sort of rushed. The vibe felt energetic, not intimate, and we had hoped for something closer to intimate. The prices seemed a little high.

    I visited ChopTank at the suggestion of a close friend. I was in town celebrating a wedding. Six of us visited the restaurant on a Friday night. What a fabulous facility! Everything sparkled… Friendly attentive staff, great selection of beers, fabulous appetizers, and the crabcakes were absolutely to die for. I highly recommend.!!

    Everything was great, I have no complaints. Our waitress Kate was amazing, she made us feel like family. And then the food came, everything was prepared perfectly and very tasty. I’ll definitely be back.

    Small issue when seating at start, But service supervisor step up and help with situation . Then would checking during dinner on how things where going. From then awesome enjoyable dinner experience. Our server was excellent . So sorry can not remember her name. But if I say thank you you will know I am talking about,. (2nd floor) Yes prices might seem a little high but not really. Quality , Taste and presentation excellent. We were looking for higher level fine dinning experience so prices are very reasonable. Great job thank you
