Chose a beef Sunday lunch, a pork Sunday lunch and a child's pork Sunday lunch. When it arrived there was one Yorkshire pudding with the beef. When I asked where was ours I was told you only get a Yorkshire pudding with beef, but he would probably be able to get us one. As my child is a fussy eater this was essential. When he brought two Yorkshire puddings these were much smaller than my husbands. I asked for extra gravy. The food was barely warm. The gravy didn't taste of meat at all. Everything was bland and barely warm. The veg was mangetout and carrots. Would have preferred something more substantial but the veg was ok. Really disappointed with the whole experience after a lovely drive over there.

Service at the Bull was exceptional. Seating options very varied - great choice of large rooms or smaller, more intimate settings. I was, however, slightly disappointed with what I consider to be a limited lunchtime offering of smaller plates, sandwich variety etc.. My chicken, Brie and bacon sandwich was acceptable but not outstanding on flavour or value for money.

My wife and I took my elderly mother for Sunday lunch on the 11th september. My wife had roast beef, I had the hot pot and my mum the steak and ale pie. I would recommend everything. The staff 1st class.

Sorry I have not visited the Bull for some years and sadly I was disappointed by this visit. Food was not great and very expensive. The staff were very attentive and helpful but the price of the food and menu was poor. I can see there is a move away from traditional pub food but the variations of traditional offerings left us disappointed. I have no issue with what we were given in terms of quality but the food was certainly not good value.
