    We eat at the Avenue on a regular basis, but the kitchen really messed up this time My order was incorrect but close enough I did not complain until I tasted the chicken that usually amazingly tender and juicy, the carrots are always very good and cooked perfectly soft as well as the potatoes. I told the waiter I preferred a double order of carrots and hold the potatoes but a received a very small order of carrots not even the amount if order with the potatoes. They were not cooked, served raw. I thought something was wrong when I received my chicken, it is always whole not cut apart and my chicken breast was separate, very dry, told waiter and her stated ok i get it and repeated you did not like it and walk away, not can I make it again or I am sorry. When he did come back 15 minutes later my meal was at the edge of the table. He stated, do you want me to take this away, I said yes, refund and check for my husband's meal. He sent them manager and by this point I was saying am I really at the Avenue as this just does not happen here. When manager returned, he may have thought I ate part of the meal and I did not, I did not get the potatoes with the carrots, so we think he was under the impression I ate part of the meal. I was so irritated at this point I told the manager I needed to leave and go home and prepare a bowl of soup for dinner. Not the typical experience we get here !

    Excellent, excellent dinner— terrific ambience, great food, awesome service from Maggie; it was just excellent being there when we needed her and great pace. Added bonus crème brûlée was outstanding as dessert…..only tiny little hiccup was ordered a ribeye medium well and it came out medium rare but they got that corrected and overall just a terrific experience !!
