   This establishment is CLOSED. We wasted time and Uber money getting here one night then having to stand outside in the cold on a dark corner to wait for another. What the hell?? Close your books!!!

   I took my best friend for brunch on her birthday and it was a major disappointment. Our food came out cold and after being offered to “microwave” my friends food, they accepted and it still came out cold again. I declined the option to “microwave” and requested I receive fresh hot food, (which also still came out cold). After having to request utensils (twice) we were finally able to eat but a few of my friends had decided to eat the cold French toast by splitting the 1 set of utensils that were on the table. Yes! One ate her food with a knife! After requesting a manager 4 times we were told there was no manager in the building (during Sunday brunch! Not such a great business move). The server explained that she was a “head server” and would be able to assist in any way she could (even though I had to walk over to the bar to refill our cups of water myself, ask for utensils more than twice, and ask her why other people had food that wasn’t on the menu and her response was “it’s apart of todays special I didn’t think you all wanted that”). After voicing the issues, that she already knew, because we voiced them to her she responded with “even if a manager was here you wouldn’t be telling them anything they haven’t heard but I will comp you alls eggs” unbelievable 6 whole meals and 4 cocktails and you offer to comp the eggs. We didn’t feel like the debate so we said “ok” we received the check and there were only 2 of 6 eggs taken off the check! This was really just a bad experience and it really sucks because of all the places we could have chosen, we pick the place with poor service, cold food, and no managers to keep things in order. If you can tell I would not recommend. Hopefully, they get it together soon.

   The staff was amazing but the food came out cold they were out of quite a few things on the menu. Our meals weren’t substituted for things they were out of until the food came out and we had to explain what was missing from our meals. The space was clean and vibrant drinks were good but the food was a complete miss.

   They didn't have a lot of food choices available. They should train their staff to mention that once they sit you, not when you go to order your entree.They made their drinks with rail alcohol and lied and said it was premium alcohol. Lucky we sat close to see the bartender top the drinks off with rail liquor, and I know the difference in taste.

   I went with friends for Sunday Brunch. The restaurant decor was beautiful, but the service and food were both terrible. We ordered several items off of the menu including the chicken n waffles, French toast, shrimp and Grits and everyone’s food came out cold. The sever was not knowledgeable at all of the menu items or the current drink & food specials etc. We try to support local Black Owned Businesses, but unfortunately there is still alot of improvement needed for this restaurant to be a successful establishment. I think it would be much better if the food came out in a timely manner, if the serving staff was trained on restaurant etiquette & if there was a DJ all day for brunch. There is definitely lots of potential, but unfortunately I was Very disappointed and probably would not plan of returning anytime soon.

    It was my first time there, After hearing so many positive reviews, I couldn’t help but try them. My friends and I enjoyed our server Layla*^,She was very knowledgeable and charming. Our food the lobster quesadilla and ox tail wontons were out of this world. The portions were very hearty and shareable. We opted to split a caesar salad with salmon that was delicious as well also a nice portion. The energy through out is very positive and everyone whom I came in contact with greeted me when I walked around or asked a question. Which is rare these days that just about everyone in the establishment has a pleasant demeanor especially in these hard times. I definitely enjoyed this experience and already plan on coming back lol.

    Dinner for the bday girl. The dining room is really nice and contemporary. The food was amazing and the staff were great. Definitely recommend for brunch, lunch or dinner. We’ll be back to experience their brunch and what the nightlife downstairs has to offer.

    I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt because I know they just opened and are still trying to fix some kinks. But I had reservations for 8:00, we couldn’t be seated until the whole party was there, granted our party did come late due to parking issues. But once we did get seated, we’re told that the kitchen was backed up. We waited almost 2 hours and still never ate. We left to go get food else where. I think the kitchen staff should prep for busy nights better especially considering the amount of reservations they had, I will probably go back on a day not as busy. I was looking forward to those oxtail egg rolls. Our server was very nice and was completely honest about the kitchen being backed up instead of having us wait clueless.

    I was very excited to visit The Anonymous , and it definitely met our expectations ! It made me extremely happy to know this is a black woman owned spot ! The level of security is outstanding. It’s great to know the safety and security of patrons is a high priority . The poise and graciousness of the hostess was superb . They offer tours, and coat check . Our bartender was amazing , he was so real , friendly and professional ! The food , omg …..it was so good . We had lamb chops , oxtail egg rolls and the jollof rice was spicy and satisfying . Everything from the staff , to the ambiance , drinks / food and service was worth the value . For a first week of opening there were a few noticeable kinks to work out but nothing that made us feel like we would never return . I am truly looking forward to making this a regular spot and I cannot wait to go there for brunch !!!
