    The food was excellent- enjoyed the Mai Tai cocktail, Thai salad with peanut sauce and coconut/ chicken soup, shrimp curry and grouper with a tasty Thai sauce. The service also excellent - very attentive. The singer in the bar was also quite good. The problem: it took 20 minutes for the restaurant staff to figure out how to apply the Open Table $40 dining credit to the bill. I believe they had to call someone to figure out it was a prepaid card. Maybe Open Table needs to do a better job in educating their client restaurants or their customers. The other thing not to like is the 3.5% credit card surcharge. The prices at this restaurant are high enough without that. Great food, great service. Pay cash with no dining credit.

    Having called THAI SPICE a must whenever we visit Fort Lauderdale, this last visit was much less inspiring. A Tuesday night found many open tables. Seated quickly, we were greeted by our server who offered other drinks than water. At $18 a cocktail, both of us chose Iced Tea! We ordered an appetizer and two soup choices before the main. Soups arrived first with the appetizer arriving within a minute! I ordered the Tum Kai (forgive me for not knowing the true name) ..the coconut, chicken, hot and sour soup which was, by far the most disappointing dish. It was laden with lime juice, salt and not much more depth. I couldn’t finish the small bowl. The spring rolls that arrived at the same time were just fine but, $$$ for the order! Main meals were presented nicely and generously portioned. Each main was very good, not what we had had in the past. Why is there an up-charge for brown rice??? The server presented a platter of desserts without a description of the selections. All he said was,”Care for dessert?” Perhaps but, what are they? The server was pleasant but with a little polish could make the guest truly feel welcome. Yes, we will come back but, this visit was a downer!

    I have been going here for over 25 years, Great food, large amounts of dinners. I really wanted to sit at the bar, but there was a party and it was PACKED and VERY LOUD. Glad we went to the dining room.

    I’ve been going to Thai Spice for over 12 years, at least once a week! I’m a creature of habit, a when I find something great, I stick with it. Their Pad Thai, is without a doubt the best I’ve ever had! Nothing comes close. I like other restaurants Pad Thai, but I always compare it to here, and here always wins!

    Always delicious food and great service. We had the crispy duck and the Colorado Lamb chops. Both were excellent. The music was a nice touch.
