    🌮✨ Family night at Tequila Mockingbird in New Canaan, CT — and WOW… one of the best Mexican spots I’ve tried in Connecticut. We started with fresh guac and queso, then dove into steak & chicken fajitas, a Baja fish taco, salmon taco, taco salad, and enchiladas — every dish was packed with flavor. And of course we couldn’t leave without churros for dessert 🤎 The interior is gorgeous and the vibe is just as good as the food.     Always delish! Love that they have gone back to glassware and ceramic dishes instead of the plastic/melamine stuff. Service is always super fun and friendly and the house margaritas are the bomb!

    This was the third and last time we’ll be going. The staff is nice but service was terrible and the food was awful. I appreciate they comped our drinks when they saw that we didn’t/couldn’t eat two of our four entrees but we left hungry and disappointed.

    Always we have had good meal here but last night was really good. The food was better than it has ever been, the ceramic plates and glassware vs. all the plastic stuff was much nicer too. Service is always super friendly. We’ll be back again soon.
