My wife and I went early for dinner. It was a great experience. The waitress made some great recommendations!!
The place was great, staff was excellent and food was delicious. My only complaint, which isn’t really bad, too much food. I got the chicken parm, so good, but it could have fed 4 ppl. I only ate a third of it because I didn’t want it to go to waste but ultimately it did. My mom got the chicken, very good, but same thing, enough food for two but she only ate half and the rest was wasted.
There were multiple private parties and terrible, loud techno music. After waiting 15 minutes at the bar (for our dinner guests) and not being seen, we left and went to Valerie, which was delicious
Nice place. Good atmosphere. Great food and good service.
The restaurant is lovely. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable and took time and care to explain what was on the menu. We had the Baked Crab Roll, Chicken Parmesan, and Heavenly Chicken and it was all delicious! The chicken was so tender it felt like it melted in my mouth.
We had a very enjoyable dinner. However, the server was a little mixed up.
Went for my boyfriends birthday dinner. Great location; food was so-so but the service and ambience made up for it. I’d definitely go back for dessert and drinks!
The food was fantastic! But the service was awful. Maybe it was late into the night but the place was relatively empty. The waitress seemed to not know we were there. She came over a few minutes after we arrived and then a while later to take an order and then never came back until the end of the night when we were done eating and I was practically jumping and waiving to get her attention so we could pay and leave. Never brought bread even after we asked for it.
It was early when we came so it was very quite! Food was very tasty nice presentation &the service was pleasant! The rock shrimp was delicious!
The service was great and the food delicious!
I took my girlfriend to New York for her birthday. We were extremely fortunate to find this place at the last minute for dinner....She was totally floored. The ambiance, the food, the service, I would have to say this place represents the hell outta NY.
The ambiance and setting of this restaurant is marvelous. Food and service subpar for the price.
I made a reservation at Tender for my 21st birthday and the restaurant was amazing. The staff was so nice. The food tasted so good. I would definitely come back.
We Have found a new pre theatre dinner place! The food was great, the ambience was subdued, just perfect for my Mom and I. We told the waiter that we had tickets for a 7:30 show and they were great about getting the food to us and us out in time without feeling rushed. I had the Salmon and my Mom had the mini meat loaf and we shared the caramelized Brussels sprouts which were to die for. The only possibly negative thing was that there are two doors which say Tender, one of which is the bar lounge and the other leads to the restaurant. I was a little turned around, but once the hostess led me to the restaurant, all was good. Would definitely recommend.
Dinner in the city on a family trip to NYC for Spring Break. Food and wine was delicious!
Some dishes were a better value than others but everything was delicious!
The food and service was great. The ambiance and noise level was perfect for my business lunch.
Loved every second! Great for dates.
Great food, great setting, great staff.
I have had lunch at Tender many times and the food and service are always excellent. Just a block from Times Square and very close to Rockefeller Center. I’ve never been disappointed. Sushi and steaks are excellent.
Very good steak.
Service was weak. Waiter failed to check back on us after initial order. We couldn't even get his attention for the check.
It's a nice quiet room though. And the food was very good.
As always gracious hospitality, lovely atmosphere, superb service and excellent food. This is why we keep returning. Thanks to all for a splendid dinner.
Excellent hostess greetings coming and going, food, service (server:Jose) and atmosphere were A+. Superb salmon. The creme brûlée was exquisite!! This coming from a Native New Yorker .
Great food, service, and atmosphere
Always a great experience. Food and service are outstanding
The atmosphere is great, nice and quiet! Service is good. Food is descent though not great. Price is reasonable given its location.
Dinner was very good. Steaks and pasta along with kale salad and sashimi. Service, however, was poor. We waited more than 45 minutes between our appetizers and main courses. A server different than the one who took our orders came by several times to tell us our dinners were coming soon. Our water and glass of wine were comped for the wait. The restaurant wasn’t crowded so we weren’t sure why the delay.
This restaurant was a pleasant experience. Service great. Steaks excellent.
Great NY strip and awesome sauce on edamame.
I need to get 250 characters to hit submit. I hope this helps.
Had my annual Valentines Day dinner with my friend was amazing experience. The food was excellent and the Luce martini was everything!!!!!!!
Our table was close to the exit and it’s very close to other people table as well. Wishing we could get the other separte table that was more like for couple.
A very cozy restaurant with fantastic food....GREAT ambiance!!!!
food was delicious. Service was the best I have received, and the price point was phenomenal for a place in the city with the quality food we had.
This was a birthday reservation, which I noted when booking. Also called restaurant to let them know we have special plans for dessert afterwards so we will pass on the birthday dessert. So instead the restaurant assured me complimentary glasses of Prosecco to celebrate. The server Yuri was nice but inattentive. I watched him work the room and didn’t understand why he kept forgetting about us. Also no Prosecco ever came to the table, and not one person wished my boyfriend a Happy Birthday. The bill was about $400- the main entrees were good but we ordered a ton of apps and they definitely were not good. Apps were very bland and underwhelming. Also, couldn’t get 1 decent glass of wine. Tasted like supermarket or deli corner store wine. Will not be returning.
I think everything is ok. Nothing surprise. But service is not bad
It was an amazing place to be I went for my two year anniversary I truly enjoyed every moment of this that I would recommend for people to spend their quality moments here as well I definitely will be returning
Was at Tender this past weekend. Food was fine, but not outstanding. Prices were competitive with other restaurants around the theater district. Menu was a bit sparse but eclectic. Would recommend the Heavenly Chicken and the French Fried Avocado. Would not go out of my way to find the place but it is fine as a before theater dining option.
