I took my family to Tavernetta over Thanksgiving weekend based on a recommendation from a notable figure in the Denver culinary community. First and foremost the atmosphere is fantastic. We loved the warm and welcoming environment that they provide. Our server was knowledgable, attentive and kind. The wine list was extensive and approachable. We shared a few appetizers including one pasta dish and a charcuterie plate - both of which were lovely. The entre, a full roasted chicken, was flavorful and moist. I would definitely recommend sharing this dish for a table of two-four. Finally the manager brought two complimentary desserts to the table, with our espresso - a perfect end to a perfect evening out. We will be back, and we will recommend Tavernetta to friends and family. One of Denver's best/

Great service and food in authentic Italian style and taste. Beautiful location on end of train platform opposite Union Station. But don't expect everything to be smothered in marinara sauce....this is not Maggiano's...this is true Italian.

This our first time at Tavernetta-what can I say except, WOW! We were seated right away, had a great server and every bite of every dish we ordered was delicious. Exceeded all of our expectations and we will certainly return.

Fantastic restaurant. Food, service, ambience, completely exceeded our expectations. As a side note; this restaurant had a fire 8 days after initially opening and ended up in a renovation for over a month. When they were ready to reopen, they held a dinner for the firefighters who had responded to the fire, before they opened to the public. It doesn’t get much better that that!

Best gnocchi with lamb ragu ever. superb poached lobster in a light broth and home made thin linguine. Smooth burratta with flavorful crostini. Perfect buttermilk salad dressing. Amazing unique Italian wines. Definitely a place that should have mo beta unique desserts. Terramisu, gelato, sorbet, and pane cotta, please! Such a fabulous kitchen deserves a fabulous pastry chef. Service as would b expected from the best restaurant ownership group in Colorado. There would a line out the door waiting to get in if they opened in Florence Italy.

Tavernetta was delicious, the service was excellent. Given this place is brand new (opened for a week only), I was very impressed by the level of service. The caprese salad with peach was incredible. The only negative was the noise level. It was hopping on a Monday night and a bit noisy. I would definitely recommend Tavernetta.

Food was excellent and the service was great but it was pricey for lunch. Probably would not go again for lunch because of cost. Will try it out for dinner some time.
