We were promptly accommodated, even though we were early for our reservation. Lex was our server; she was down-to-earth and very attentive! My wife loved the mojito, and the appetizers like the calamari & wings were uniquely tasty. Nice decor in the dining area!

My mother's sandwich came out and the toast was VERY burnt. The waitress never came by to check on our food so after about ten minutes I flagged down another waitress nicely and asked her to find our waitress. She didn't even acknowledge what I said but did give a rude stare. She did get our waitress who did get my mom new toast but no apology at all regarding the quality of our food which had taken forever to come out anyhow- over 25 minutes. My food tasted fine but nothing spectacular!

Sunday Brunch is usually a busy time at Tarrant’s West. Booking two larger groups (appeared to be a baby shower and a birthday party) at the busiest time of the day put a huge strain on staff and made parking nearly impossible. This has been a go-to Sunday spot for us. We are now re-thinking. The service, however, was excellent and our server, Deja, was absolutely delightful!

We didn’t actually get to experience eating at Tarrant’s. We sat at our table for over 20 minutes and never had a server stop by. We were seated in the middle of the restaurant (so obvious to everyone, especially with our hungry 1.5 year old) and we tried constantly making eye contact with everyone walking by us. The table seated after us was doing the same, but when we saw them get their first course of food, we had to leave. We tried longer than we should have to be patient. We were very disappointed to not get to experience the food.

First thing the waitress did when she came to the table...coughed on my girlfriend! The prices during happy hour were great, and the mixed drinks were tasty. The shrimp and grits were normally $30, but half price at the bar...the shrimp and grits were not very good, even $15 was too much for them. Sauce was good, but the shrimps were few and far between, and small. Shrimps were not very good quality, I can get better shrimp at Kroger. Will come back for drinks, but not sure if we'll eat there again.

we went on Mother’s Day for dinner. The restaurant was moderately full. We enjoyed our dinner, however, appetizers took a while to come out. Our servers noticed without us prompting, and said she would go to check on our appetizers, and came out shortly with them. Nevertheless, that took longer than they should have. The food was fairly good. the highlights of the meal, where the slow cook, short rib special and the slow cook, short rib special and the she crab soup. The calamari was a little bit of a letdown, the calamari interior was tender, however, the outside was not crispy. The crabcake was good, but not exceptional. overall, the meal was solid, and we enjoyed our experience. We would go back again.

We went for Mother's Day buffet. Short ribs, veggie frittata, and mixed veggies were especially delicious, but everything was good. The Flower Power cocktail will be in my regular rotation. Staff was very friendly, especially our server, Deja. She was helpful and attentive without being intrusive. Gold Stars! I will definitely visit next time I'm in town.

I would have preferred dining in the main restaurant vs the outside addition... not as nice of a surroundings and a view of the parking lot. It took quite a while for waitress to notice we'd been sitting there before greeting us and getting our order. Food was very good and enough to split between 2 people.

It was a busy, and therefore, noisy night. The appetizer crab cakes were very good. Excellent entrees included the blackened mahi, the scallops and fried oysters. I know it was half-price bottle wine night, but was still surprised that the house was out of Sauvignon Blanc. However, the Vermintino was an excellent second choice. All in all, a fine evening with friends.

First time at Tarrants. I really like the ambiance and vibe of the decor. The staff didn’t seem to happy to be there but that’s not a huge deal. We ordered beers, which we had a unique selection to choose from. For our app we got the motz sticks which came with 5 massive beautiful hot sticks. The menu said it came with marinara and ranch and we only got marinara. Absolutely delicious, only issue being that 5 sticks and two people for $10 bucks is tough. Though, I would pay to eat those things every meal. We ordered a cheese steak and a Ruben, both with sweet potato fries. The entrees are a little pricy but I’m sure they are great. The sandwiches were pretty fairly priced. Both sandwiches were good enough to order again and the fries were perfect. The cheese steak was juicy and flavorful and the Ruben wasn’t a large portion size but the ratio of ingredients was perfect.

Food & service was great just sat next to a large party with kids. Kind of spoiled my b-day dinner as the kids were noisy. Had asked for a booth

The tacos were a joke. 3 tiny pieces of shrimp and the smallest piece of mahi mahi. I wouldn’t eat there again. The Sailor was just ok. Lots of money for nothing sad
