   My OpenTable reservation was booked for a party of 2 at 6 PM on a Thursday evening. I’ve never experienced the subpar service from a restaurant in this category before. My server did not share her name with me once she came over to my table. I just so happened to overhear introduce and share her name with her other guests’ tables. The first thing she asked me was if I wanted still or sparkling water. She seemed a bit more bothersome that my guest would not be joining me and I would be having dinner alone. Once again she did not provide or mention the evening dinner specials to or elaborate the selected option on the menu. There was something else totally bizarre as well in the dining room. I noticed the 2 room attendants uncomfortably staring at me as if they both had something to ask me. The manager finally came over to my table to introduce himself and asked me how was everything. I shared every detail with him that I’m sharing in this review so there should not be any surprises. Another manager also presented themselves in an attempt to learn what could be done to make things right this evening by offering me pepper on my entrée (pasta) only to accidentally grind too much in my plate. Overall, I did not enjoy my $100 plus dinner at Tagliata on this evening. I truly hope they will learn and improve from the reviews left from their customers.

   We had a beautiful evening. The service was phenomenal, always anticipating our needs and excellent recommendation. The kitchen executed the dishes perfectly, my filet mignon was picture perfect cooked, savory each bite. I truly appreciated our server making sure the Birthday girl was taken care of and enjoyed your dinning experience, it meant a lot. We decided this will be one of our go-to. Amazing food, great wine selections, music and most importantly you make your own pasta. 😊 Blessings to all.

   This place is a shining gem in the crown of Baltimore. Fantastic experience due, in no small part, to the phenomenal live entertainment. When we were there this past week, Sarah Jones played piano and sang. She's a major league talent and it was an incredible. Food and service are impeccable. Great great spot.

   Waiter didn’t bother to let us know the specials for whatever reason. We did not know there were dinner specials until a couple of “a different color” was seated next to us and we overheard the SAME waiter telling them. Also, a different waitress served us but never came back to check on us after dinner was served BUT rudely came and took the check/money off the table before we could even leave.

    The piano player was fabulous. Took me back to my childhood when she played the song from the Sound of Music. In terms of food, my rigatoni alla vodka was to die for. Absolutely loved the homemade uniqueness in the shape of each pasta noodle. Thank you for a wonderful night!

    Food? Delicious. Vibe? Excellent. My only negative is that the woman who helped us pick out a bottle of wine (not sure if she was the official sommelier) made me more confused than I started. She kept asking me what I wanted after I gave her general vibes of wine I normally drink, which was silly because if I knew the wine i wanted off the list I wouldn't need her help.

    The service was great. Kenya did a great job at informing us on the menu options and pairings. We were fortunate enough to have the manager and sommelier show us the cellar which was beautifully arranged.

    If you want a special evening, this is the place to go. Great wine selction, excellent menu choices, and attentive staff. Request a seat near the piano, you won't be disappointed!

    Our best restaurant experience in Baltimore, and one of the most enjoyable anywhere in a while! Ambience, food, and service for our party of 4 were so on-point that it may as well have been the halcion pre-COVID days ;) We'll be back when we're in town again in May, because why go anywhere else?

    The Ceaser Salad was so fresh and the hint of lemon was sooo perfect. Easily the best steak I have EVER had. The rigatoni vodka was cooked perfect and tasted so fresh. Even the bread and butter was top tier. Will definitely be dining here again.

    Disappointed from our last visit. Last visit we felt like family, staff was mature, inviting, willing to conversate and discuss the menu. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. This last time felt more pedestrian. Our waitress was great - however the area we sat in had WAY to much foot traffic - staff and customers alike. No manager visited our table. The food was just okay. With all the competition in Baltimore these days - I would think the owners would want to separate themselves a bit. Not sure we'll be back anytime soon.

    The staff was great… not overly attentive. We received our appetizers promptly after ordering. The appetizers we received were wonderfully delicious. Unfortunately something went wrong with our order…. We waited 35 to 40 minutes to be served our entrees. Called over management and he was very apologetic. We asked to have our dinners boxed to go. We were very disappointed, it spoiled a lovely evening.

    They sat us in the kitchen/by the stairs. It was loud with tons of clanging and smelled like aerosol cleaning products. At the end of the meal the manager clearly encouraged us to leave.

    The atmosphere was nice. A little noisy. Service started off great, but suffered as the evening progressed. Our entrees did not come out together (4 top) & they were not hot. Server did not bring share plates with the appetizers - we had to ask and then they brought one plate for 4 people. Li don’t annoying. Food was good, not great.

    I had an average experience. To my poc the atmosphere is off putting. My encounter with the hostess turned me off. She did not acknowledge me until I spoke. She was rude and short with me when I said I was early for my reservation. She told I could sit at the bar and wait. A couple came in after me and she seated them right away when they stated they did not have a reservation. She seemed uninterested in her job and was not welcoming. I was sent a text that my table was ready and my guest and I were seated at the very last table in the back. Being that she is the first person you meet at the establishment it turned me off immediately. My waitress was lovely and very helpful. The food was good not great but good. The meatball appetizer was great! I would give this place a 5/10. Most likely will not be back.

    Loved the ambiance and the piano singer. Bartenders were great and so was our server. The only disappointment was the hostess, not sure of her name but she was fairly short in size with short blonde hair the night of 2/17. My girlfriend and I were about a half hour early for our reservation at 8:00…she seemed annoyed that we were early and said “we’ll seat you closer to your time”. That was it, no offer to sit at the bar to have a drink while we wait, no letting us know that they would come and get us or if they would send a text to let us know our table was ready…very poor customer service. Also, unfortunately, I’ve had much better NY strip. Other than that I would totally recommend this restaurant to my friends and family.

    A mixed bag. Tasty food but indifferent service. Our welcome was tepid at best though the hostess was helpful with our coats. No valet present when we arrived on a quiet night. Took quite a while. No managerial interest in trying to solve that problem. Martinis, despite express requests to be as cold as possible, arrived warm. Our waitress was obviously bored -perhaps because it was a slow night. Dinner itself was very good, nicely presented and competently served. A requested birthday recognition happened as it should. Problems arose when we started to leave - again the valet on a rainy cold night was nowhere to be found and getting the manager to do something about it was a protracted process. Clearly the place was not on its game that evening.

    Tagliata is always a great experience. The food is top tier and the staff are the friendliest people, so professional. Sure the prices are a bit high, but I'd say it's worth the price for a special occasion.
