   Most of the sushi is delicious, maybe because of the region and time, some Sushi has changed, and there are some differences from the website. But it does not affect the meal of the day. If you want to be picky, there should be a Japanese dessert at the end. Maybe because I am an Asian and I eat this kind of meal very often, so I am used to the way I give when eating in Japan.

   Fish quality was amazing. Just wish it wasn't limited to 30min. I felt pretty rushed and couldn't fully enjoy the omakase experience. Didn't have time to sip my tea!

   This was my first time trying an Omakase and the experience was pricey but reasonable in comparison and it did not disappoint. Our chef Ace provided excellence in taste, entertainment and making sure our level of Wasabi but just right. I would definitely recommend this for anyone wanting a great quick Omakase experience.

   Had an amazing first time eating omakase with my dad. You can really tell the difference between the quality and freshness. Every piece eaten was prepared with care to detail, up to the small little piece of topping to finish the look of each piece.

    Snow affected travel time — 2 of the 5 guests arrived 2 minutes past grace period and they refused to let us in even though they were still “speaking to the chef to see what they can do for us”. Right when grace period was up, we suggested going in as 3 and eating 5 peoples portion. They rejected us and did not give us a good explanation why that’s not possible. The staff was not helpful at all and are very rigid with the way they run this business.

    It was great only take away though was that the parking address provided in the description is about 20 min walking distance from the place. This made us have to rush and almost miss our timing. Staff should update it to the address across the street where parking is very cheap.

    It was our first Omakase experience ever and it did not disappoint! 30 minute time slots and standing room only makes it a truly unique experience. Our omakase chef Ace is very skilled, knowledgeable and friendly and he made our dinner special! Sushi is of premium quality (one do the best in the city) with exceptional service. Highly recommend this spot.

    Booking was for 1:30 but we weren’t seated until 1:45. Considering it’s a limited half an hour reservation, timing of reservation should be strictly followed… Food was great and chef was amazing!

    This is a great place to have a quick lunch or dinner and they serve quality sushi. The customer service was excellent. The only thing to note was that I noticed they were seating people 5-10 mins late from the reservation time. The chefs were very friendly however, I wished they were more knowledgeable about how the fish was prepared. Overall, it's a very good value!

    We had a very enjoyable time here. They served us each 11 sushi + 1 handroll omakase style, all of which were absolutely delicious. The raw seafood was all very fresh. The chefs making our sushi were very friendly, chatted with us and briefly described each sushi that was served to us. The ambience was great, food was delicious, price was fair, probably my favourite omakase so far. I would highly recommend this restaurant! Can’t wait to come back.

    Too noisy and crowded. I expected more like quiet and private but the staff kept going back and forth in the kitchen and gathered at the counter and chatted loudly. So I couldn't enough enjoy my meal at all. When it comes to the quality of the food, I was very disappointed. Rice was too cold and dry and the majority of the sushi tastes similar. I can't understand why this meal costs $80. I think it's worth 25~30$. So disappointed overall and I'm not gonna visit this restaurant again.

    If you’ve eaten sushi in Tokyo, eating sushi (beyond salmon) while standing in a hip environment, in Toronto is ordinary. Hard to find location, bit pricey. Hoping for continuous improvement.

    I absolutely loved the experience. Each piece of sushi was absolutely delicious and had the perfect amount of wasabi. it was really cool watching the chefs make each piece of sushi as well. i would definitely recommend if you want an omakase experience on a budget.

    The food was great, especially with the 15% discount from 3 to 5PM. I think the service during waiting time could be improved. Simple things like taking the coat or even pointing us to the coat hanger would've been nice as there is no space in the dining area.

    Super fresh and tasty sushi, a step above any other sushi place I have been to! Everything is explained to you as its being served making it a really great experience. Luke our chef was excellent and he made it a very enjoyable and friendly dining experience. With the stand-up omakase, you get to see everything being prepared which is cool to see the skill of the chefs. They had uni, scallops, fatty tuna, roe and a ton of other stuff you don't get to try very often. Overall will definitely be going back again!

    You get what you pay for. This is not premium sushi, but if you don’t want to pay $300 before tax per person and refuse to eat buffet sushi, then you can give it a try. There’s a 15% discount if you arrive before 5pm. They have a 10min grace period, and I arrived only 3min past the time, they refused to let me in. My girlfriend arrived on time but she was told that she had to wait outside. This was ridiculous! We had to wait outside for half a hour more and did not get the discount. The server was not understanding and unreasonable, she could at least be polite about it. We did not appreciate the service. Be aware that there are no seats available. They only let you stay for 30min max! But we didn’t want to stand any longer anyway. Will not be coming here again and I would not recommend this place to my friends. I’d much rather pay more for better service and premium quality sushi.

    The meal was great. I only have two minor complaints. The first was when the rice had to be replenished halfway through the meal. The new rice that was brought in was still too warm and it made the nigiri prepared with it very fragile. Several pieces felt as if they would fall apart if I had gripped them even slightly too tightly. The second would be that the chefs, while very polite and generally friendly, were very quiet. Several times throughout the meal I asked questions about the fish or about the small additions/garnishes added to each piece. The answers that the chefs gave were very short and to the point, and I felt that had I not been curious and asked, the meal would likely have gone by with minimal communication between chef and guest. Overall, however, the food itself was delicious and I would definitely recommend it to a friend or consider coming back for another occasion.
