   Everything was delicious! Bacon wrapped shrimp, gumbo, fried chicken, fried shrimp and peace moonshine with pineapple juice. The service was the best on the Island.

   Quick stop in for a snack. Customer service was excellent and appetizers were tasty. Parking is generous, with hotels and shops close by.

   DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT!!!!! Horrible Horrible experience. If I could give less than one star, I would . We’re in town staying on sea island for a retreat. Found this place online and made a reservation on open table before going. We left the resort to come to this restaurant based on me having been to the restaurant in Atlanta and the wonderful history. Horrible experience. Horrible experience. We were a party of 10. There was not a single other person in the restaurant and nearly everything we ordered, they did not have. The waffle maker was broken, so no chicken and waffles. Burgers were cooked so well they were dry and we left over half of each on the plate. We ordered mac & cheese and the waitress came back to the table later and said there was not enough, then they found an extra serving and they brought out some additional ones all dried up. It’s a Juke Joint, but you can’t touch the jukebox. There’s a big sign on the jukebox that says do not touch. I asked if we could get permission to touch the jukebox and I was told it’s actually broken and the music that we were listening to was coming from something being played independently and not the jukebox. We ask about karaoke and were told that the karaoke machine doesn’t work and the waitress said she’s never seen it work. We spent over $400, no one came to the table to explain why they were out of things or to apologize, offer us a drink, a soda, or even a free water. Will never go back. Do not go to this restaurant.

   Great place with great music playing.The parmasan grits are fantastic.Friendly staff and great food. A little short staffed,so just sit back, enjoy the music and wait for the great food to be brought.

    Sweet Georgia’s Juke Joint was closed the night of my reservation, so it really wasn’t very sweet. Fortunately, I was walking by and realized this prior to arrival. I checked the doors, locked, and called to confirm, no answer. It was rather disappointing. There are so few choices on the island, and now there is one less To consider.

    Like several other recent reviewers, we were ghosted last night when we showed up at the restaurant for our reservation. No advance notice, only a sign on the door that they were closed. Why does Open Table continue to offer this restaurant as a choice when they are so irresponsible, unreliable, and disrespectful of their potential diners?

    Received a text message confirming reservation the day before our reservation and upon arrival the location was closed! I was very disappointed. They need to close this location indefinitely if it’s not going to be open. It was closed pretty much every day we were on the island.

    Based on our experience I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone and we never even ordered. We arrived on time for our reservation. When we told the staff about the reservation we were told to sit down. When we asked if we could sit outside the woman indicated it didn’t matter where we sat because they were so short staffed. We ended up sitting at a large table outside sharing the table with another party. When the waitress finished taking the other party’s order we asked for menu and were told “If she gets time”. She went on to tell us “There is only two of us. Me and the girl on the grill”. When we mentioned our reservation she shrugged, walked away, and reiterated she would bring us menus if she has time. At this point we bid our table mates good luck and left to go find some dinner.

    Fried wings were raw in the middle. There was just one server when we arrived and she was bar tending in addition to serving and hosting! She was literally having to run. It was a Friday evening and the drink/food menu was severely curtailed. The entire island seems to be a good food desert.

    Let me begin by saying the location of the restaurant on the island is perfect! The restaurant is decorated nicely and the music reminds you of the main location.in Atlanta. There was six people in our party. It was very chaotic upon entry. . It as if the restaurant was closing although we made a reservation. I approached a server who was no responsive. I then approached another woman who said she was the newly hired manager. She asked us to wait in an area until they sorted out some kinks. We we’re finally sat at an outdoor table about ten minutes later. I wanted the macaroni and cheese and waffles. Both of which were sold out. I settled on a salad. It was good. As a night cap, I wanted to taste the Peach cobbler. I was told it had been lit up and cooks did not want to unpack. Ok! The rest of the parties food was mediocre nothing to truly brag about. The ere were a number of missteps that occurred which I Sweet Georgia’s work out if the goals is to be a main stay on the island.

    When we stated that we had a reservation through Open Table, the manager stated that they were moving away from this service but would take us anyway. The food was okay. They were understaffed and the manager had to wait on us. The menu clearly stated that gratuities would be added on large parties, but one was added to our party of three. We will not be returning any time soon.

    Absolutely the worst experience ever. Walked in for reservation and they said they were closed at 07:45pm on New Year’s Eve!!! They should not even be an option on open table to reserve. Spoke to manager who told me he was part owner and was also extremely rude.

    Got there there around 6:55 pm and the waitress/hostess told us that they were closed. When I said that I had reservations for 7:00 she challenged me to show it as if I was making it up because “ We are not taking reservations” when I showed it to her she said fine you can take a seat but “We will get to you when we get to you” because “ there is only two of us” Obviously we decided to leave. It was Saturday at 7pm on a busy Jekyll Island Christmas fireworks night and all other Restaurants in town were super busy.

    Showed up for our 6:30 reservation and were told they closed at six. They checked and they did have our reservation on file that had just not bothered to call and tell us they would not be open. We ended up down the street at Beach Club. It was amazing!!

    Really delicious shrimp, salads, drinks, desserts, and service. Large portions too. Our wait staff, Mary, was a gem. Right next door to the Westin, over looking the beach and ocean.

    They didn’t honor our reservation at all. When we walked in it was a first come first serve sit wherever you like. There wasn’t even a hostess. We had reserved an outside table but they were all full. We had to wait for someone to clean off a table inside. Also, about 8 tables were closed because water was dripping from the ceiling. We didn’t realize when we made reservations that this place has a strange business model. You scan a QR code on your phone and order virtually. I put in our drink and appetizer orders. After nearly 20 minutes my boyfriend went to the bar to check and make sure our order went though. The bartender was terribly rude and basically told him “We are busy, we will get to it when we get to it.” At that point, if I hadn’t already entered my credit card information we would have walked out. Finally our beers and food came out. All utensils were plastic. The food was good, but nothing special. We left after we finished the appetizers and beers. I had really had high hopes for this location when I saw that a restaurant had opened in this space after the previous one closed. We won’t be back.

    Open table and this restaurant accepted our reservation for two. When we got there the restaurant was closed and has been for sometime and is closed indefinitely according to the sign on the door. Why that wasn’t reported so the reservations could be turned off is ridiculous. After reading all the good reviews we were looking forward to a great experience… oh well. Because all the other restaurants and beach village were booked up through 9 PM, we just got sandwiches at the grocery store. Disappointing experience from this restaurant.
