This was one of the most amazing restaurant experiences in my life. It’s a small restaurant which makes it much more personal. The jazz music and the beautiful presentation really made the experience. The head chef made it much more personal, both with friendliness and explanations of both the food and accompaniments such as sake or wine. The food is a surprise, with each course made from surprising yet exceedingly delicious choices. Even though we do not speak Japanese, the wait staff was very friendly and had very good communication skills in English. It was an amazing experience. The food, drinks, service, and atmosphere were perfect!

We reserved 3 counter seats for special evening. But when we arrived, manager informed that there’s no counter seats so we have to seat at the table. I was upset since some walking in customers were seating in counters but I had no choice because it was late evening and we were starving. I reserved this restaurant to show my kid how to make Japanese sushi but I stolen the opportunity of special experience. However the food was great and sake pairing was wonderful. Serving staff was friendly and good at communication.

This place is a hidden gem! I’d highly recommend this restaurant based on the quality and creativity in the food. The flavor profiles were amazing and we were shocked that this place does not have a Michelin star. Amazing service, amazing ambience, amazing sake pairing…can’t say enough great things about this restaurant.

A great experience! Food was amazing and the chef was great. All staff spoke English and as a non-Japanese speaker, I had no trouble.
