Every Monday to Thursday from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM, kids 12 and under can craft their own pizzas at the official pizza counter with our chefs for $7.95 plus tax (gratuity not included). Or opt for our tableside option, and have all the ingredients delivered to your table for the whole family to get in on the fun! Kids will wash their hands, use the flour to form the dough, spread their choice of red or white sauce, and build their zae with cheese and toppings of their choice. Once our team pops it in the oven, the pizza will be delivered back to your family’s table for an a-dough-able dinner. Ambience was good and staff was great. Had a reservation for 6:30 and was not seated till after 7pm. My chicken sandwich has no flavor and my fries were sad and cold. My drink was excellent.

Incredible service from the hostess stand to our server, very friendly and welcoming. Guac and chips is a great starter and the fish tacos were great! The Brussels sprout salad was also delicious. Grab a cookie and brownie at the bakery on your way out the door, the gluten free options of both are so good!

The food was extremely bland. The sourdough wasn’t very sour, and came with unsalted butter. The breakfast burrito was probably the most dry I’ve ever experienced and was under seasoned. The salsas were pretty tasty and helped supplement the dryness/blandness. The indoor dining patio area was beautiful. If we were seated there it might have made up a bit for the food.

We came here for brunch on our daughter’s 15th birthday. The table we sat at was perfect for our part size and the space was gorgeous and sun-filled, even thought it was a cloudy day. Good was wonderful and many healthy and gluten-free options. Highly recommend. Will be back!

Devante was genuinely fantastic and incredibly welcoming. We loved his energy and he really made our first experience here, which was my girlfriend’s birthday, special and memorable. The food was incredible and we appreciated that it was natural and there wasn’t an access of salt in it. The ambiance was second to none and really made us forget we were in for a cloudy, gloomy day. Top notch across the board and we were really impressed!! We will definitely be coming back sooner rather than later. Thank you for an amazing first experience

Our favorite local choice : whether frinig yo meet friends or walking through the neighborhood on the way yo this wonderful restaurant. Atmosphere is uplifting (including children). I love the “Vitamin D Room” all year round. The service is excellent: “can do and let’s do”, gracious with a smile. Special dietary restrictions (allergies) available on request. My sisters and girlfriends ask to meet here. I choose a quieter spot for more business casual discussion with excellent selection for everyone. See you Friday with aye adult children and friends.

We went for an early brunch on Sunday. Our reservation was for 10:15. I looked at the brunch menu, and had decded on a pizza. I was very disappointed when I was told that the "pizza guys" don't come in until 11a.m. I find it frustrating that the pizzas are on the brunch menu but are time dependent, They should have that on the menu. I love the restaurant, but this was a slightly disappointing experience.

The food was fine, but not exceptional in any way. Overpriced and overhyped. The service is what was really lacking. Our waitress literally forgot about us and never came back to the table after our food was delivered, despite many attempts to flag her down. Overall, I cannot recommend this restaurant

My scrambled eggs were over cooked dry and brown and greenish. I can’t believe this was sent out. It was replaced and the staff was great. My companion had pancakes which were so large it was unappealing. The quality was fine but that was a plate to share.

Three coworkers and I were in downtown Chicago for several days for a conference and one coworker mentioned she had never been to the Lincoln Park area so we decided on SHSM and loved it! It’s a beautiful space with a warm inviting feel. Our server was attentive without being intrusive. She also made good recommendations. The drinks were yummy. I had the pasta (bucatini pomodoro) and added whipped burrata and oh my goodness, it hit the spot! Absolutely delicious. One coworker had the crispy chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. She raved about it and ate every last bite. Another coworker had the poke bowl and loved it. She commented on the freshness and wonderful combination of flavors. Another coworker had the chicken tacos and can’t quit talking about them. Thanks for a fun and delicious evening! We will be back.

Great as always! Our server seemed brand new and was not familiar with current offerings (kids pizza making, drink choices - but she was friendly). We were incorrectly charged for our meal multiple times. However, the ambiance and food makes up for it! Wish they offered different topping choices for the pizza making - ours came with pepperoni, but a veggie would have been nice.

Disappointing experience. We had a booth, which was the highlight. Server took a long time to acknowledge us, to take our order. There was an issue with my guest’s food; it shouldn’t have been served. Our water bottle was never replenished. Overall just not that great.

We were there on a Saturday for dinner. Lively atmosphere with people of all ages. Attendance and service were excellent. We loved the cocktails. Food was tasty and prepared with care. We are very loyal LEYE customers, this was our second time at the Summer House and both times the menu was not super interesting or exciting for me. Doubtful that I will come back. If I make the trip to the area I would go to Cafe Baba Reeba.
