My wife ordered lamb chops and they were well done. Server and and manager offered to prepare another dinner, but we had waited for a long time and she declined. Manager did not charge us. It was Mothers Day and put a little damper on the dinner/experience. We will keep Sullivan's on our list of restuarants...just not as high as before.

This is definitely one of the best steak houses in Charlotte. I would put up against Ruth Chris anytime. Ruth Chris's flavor with the butter might be a little better - but this steak cut like butter. My cut of beef was better than RC.

We have not been in quite awhile. It appears they are resting on their old reputation . The food was the saving grace . I believe when you eat at a higher end restaurant, the entire package needs to be on the same level. Not close any longer ! It’s too bad. Very loud , conversation was a struggle. The service was very lackluster.

It was a little brighter and noisier than the last time we were there. Our waiters were wonderful and overall we had a fantastic experience…just a couple notes as feedback: The hollandaise for the broccoli was as thick as soft butter The broccoli was very large multiple florets and very briefly blanched…needed a steak knife to cut Our steaks and sea bass were delicious and the creamed spinach was better than almost anywhere else we’ve had!!

We chose Sullivan’s for an early mother day’s & birthday celebration and had been many times before Covid. It definitely is not the same restaurant The staff seemed overwhelmed even though there were only 3 tables when we arrived. When the entrees arrived the servers had no clue which steaks were cooked to which temperature. We finally just told them to put them down and we switched them around after cutting into them. The NY Strip I got was over cooked and about the size of a steak you would have gotten at Quincy’s back in the day. Of the 6 steaks we ordered, 4 were over cooked. About this time our server disappeared and was no where to be found, so sending back the steaks was not an option. Since 4 people at our table got the triple course option, we ordered 4 desserts. All of the items are bland and tasted like they came straight out of a box. We ordered several drinks which never arrived, again the server is MIA. Once we saw our server again, we asked for the drinks to be canceled. 10 minutes later, after waiting 20 minutes the drinks arrived. We declined them and asked for the check. Our server passed the check off to the hostess and walked by the table. Maybe it was a bad night but from the staff to the kitchen it does not seem to be the same great restaurant.

We have a time constraint as we were going to the theater. They said we had plenty of time however it did not work out that way. My steak was way under done, and we were rushed. They had a large group of Prom people which probably overloaded the kitchen,

We did a early dinner since we were dining with our 2 year old. Very nice staff. Waitress was extremely knowledgeable about menu. Started with dirty bird and rosemary orange old fashion. Bartender did a great job. Moved onto wedge and market salads both a bit too much dressing and ended up soggy. Main course Filet Mignon with Oscar add. Steak cooked perfectly crab over cooked. Crab stuff shrimp good flavor. Added Mac and cheese it was excellent. Only disappointment was we where first to be seated and then they sat next party rest next to us. Didn’t make it feel very private.

We hadn’t been for years so decided to try Sullivan’s. Got a New York Strip and Ribeye. The cut of the NYS was not good and my wife’s steak was way undercooked. The service was very slow. The food is mediocre and not a good value for the money. LongHorn has better steaks and a better value. For special occasions go to Ruth Chris!

Ayanna was extremely personable and provided exceptional service! She made sure to accommodate any special requests as I booked for my Mom’s birthday dinner and my Mom truly enjoyed herself, which as always a plus. I frequent here often, but slowed down since the pandemic and this visit reminded me of why I always dined here often. Thank you Ayanna!!

Took my husband here for his birthday and it was our first time here. Our server was very nice and gave us a complimentary dessert for my husband’s birthday which was sweet. We weren’t aware that the only parking option was valet but it was complimentary as well. Food was decent compared to other steakhouses. Not entirely sure if we’ll comeback or not but we’ll see

Great place for a business dinner or for date night. Their private rooms look great for hosting our next team dinner. The crab cakes were excellent as were the mac & cheese & mashed potatoes, and the portions of the sides were perfect for sharing 2-3 between 3 people.

Service was great- they were doing what they could to keep up. Appetizers were great, main course so so- a few of us had filets and all came out looking entirely different. Mashed potatoes were cold and didn’t have good flavor. Dessert was yummy although it took much longer than it should have.

This place is amazing. Not only did they have live music in the lounge but the place has the best food. Crab cakes and salmon were out of this world. Loved the Brussels and baked potato. Would definitely recommend!

Our service was horrible. We had a dinner reservation at 8pm that lasted through 10:45pm due to lack of punctuality, efficiency, and proactivity. We had to ask other waiters and the manager for their service due to where he lacked. I can’t remember his name but it did start with a “B.” He seemed like he wanted to be anywhere else but there.
