   Server waited 35 minutes to get us our drinks, two bottles of wine and a couple cocktails. It took 50 minutes just to take our order. We tipped, because we aren't petty, but seriously one of the worst dinners I've paid premium prices for in my life. Steaks were also seriously undercooked at our table and others. I watched another table come out with a torch to heat someone else's steak. I know my meat temps and medium rare isn't raw with raw fat unrendered.

   Loved the decor, very modern, artsy. Went for Sunday brunch with reservation but it was empty. Food was average for us, but very pricey for what you get. I did like the lobster Benedict, that had a lot of lobster. Cocktails were good but again, very pricey. I hope they do well though. That area of SoMa needs it.

   We ordered the A5 Spinalis and it was the toughest piece of meat I have ever had. My colleagues agreed. I have had A5 Spinalis at Taurus and at Waygu at Niku. It melts in your mouth you don't really have to chew. So, I don't know what STK is serving for A5 Spinalis it was tough as shoe leather.

    We were there for brunch. Coffee machine “did not work” so no coffee. And the cream they provided for the one cup of coffee that did come was spoiled. They are not equipped to do brunch.

    I didn’t realize it was going to be a rushed dining experience. We were told we had to order drinks first. We couldn’t order any food until the drinks arrived. We were then told we had to place the entire food order at one time. We couldn’t order more food if we were still hungry. We were told the apps and salad would come out first, we would have 20 min to eat the apps and salads and dinner would be arriving. The whole experience was rushed. Our server was rude and we couldn’t hear a word she said because the music was so loud. I’ve been to other STK’s and this was the worst experience I’ve ever had. It was not a fun atmosphere like the other STK’s. I am close to 50 and was carded at the table by the server. The parking situation was horrible, they should offer valet service. We asked about where to park and were told it’s street parking only. I noticed other restaurants in the area had valet. STK clearly doesn’t care about the dining experience, only interested in turning their tables over as quickly as possible.

    The place looked great and the energy was high. The doorman opened the door for us and greeted us. The hostess was friendly and acknowledged us as soon as we walked in. That's when it started to go bad. I overheard the blonde girl gave someone else our table. Thats no biggie but then she didn't acknowledge it and seemed upset that I am who I said I was. She then said our table still needed to be set and left. Five minutes passed and she did not return. The hostess who was alone now took us to a table that had been set since we arrived. The table we received was small and wobbly, the last one next to the window. After being seated we were then ignored by our server for a more than six passes. When she finally came she was abrupt and not welcoming. She seemed short when asked about the drink selection and no informative. As she brought the drinks, she spilled mine on me. Took it as a matter of fact and glazed over it. Then she neglected to bring us bread which she did to every table around us. We had to ask for it, The rest of the night followed suit. The tall waiter working the section adjacent to us was excellent. I left a $40 tip and it pained me. It should have been $100 easily with a few common courtesies. A man who seemed to be the manager did check in but it isn't worth it to complain on a night out. The food, music, and ambiance is top notch.

    Food was great. Service was very basic, for the amount of money we paid. They kept taking plates without asking if we were done yet, we felt super rushed and it’s quite disappointing since it was my birthday, but we made the best of it. Vegas feel to the ambiance. Food was yummy.

    Decor is Las Vegas. Seats and tables on tile floor are wobbly. Food was good, but always served to the wrong person. Asked for many small things: spoon for pasta, sugar for espresso. Never came. In short, service was extremely disappointing. Not worth anything close to the price.

    1st time @ STK in SF, love this place!! Food was 10+ service was 10++++. Timothy our server was bomb!!! Great recommendations and super knowledgeable. Everything he recommended was spot on. Wile will definitely be back !!

    STK was amazing for my dad 80th Birthday. I wanted to take him somewhere new to him and he loves steak. We started with appetizers…tater tots, calamari and oysters all very good and the serving proportion was great. I already knew I was ordering the tomahawk steak for us to share and I added a lobster tail. With the steak I added all the sauces and we shared the mashed potatoes and the creamed spinach. We finished with the happy birthday cinnamon donuts that were simply amazing. Thanks STK for making my dads 80th Birthday special.

    I like the decorations and ambiance, which provide energetic vibes to the restaurant. The food tasted fantastic and the service was excellent. The restaurant also has a private room. It's great place for gatherings.

    I really enjoyed STK! My only complaint is the shrimp of the surf and turf was not cooked well. It still has a “sea” taste to it. Other than that my waiter; Tina was amazing and the chef sent me a dessert charcuterie board out for my birthday and the owner and manager text Jones in to sing happy birthday! I’m heading back this Friday. As long as their welcoming spirit doesn’t change this will be my go to steak posh spot! Highly recommend. Highly suggest reserving especially on Friday & Saturday. Oh, the DJ deserves her own mentioning! She was jamming.

    The restaurant is extremely over priced for what you get. The food and service were good, but it wasn’t anything out of the ordinary. The quality of the food was just regular (it was good), like a regular ordinary steakhouse. The filet was good but it didn’t cut like butter like when you have a high grade cut of meat, and especially not for $85 and I did have it cooked medrare. The food was good, but everything is ridiculously overpriced for no reason!! For those prices you could have a 5 course meal at a fine dining restaurant. It was cool, but I would never go back.

    No pointing rsvp if you get seated a half hour later. Ticket got put in at 9 pm and at 9:55 all 3e received was bread. No appetizer side or cocktails had come out. Steak ordered medium rare came out raw. $11 to add ONE shrimp? I don't mind paying for good food but I'm left wondering why so expensive if the food and service is terrible. Does all the overhead go into the live DJ and club lights?

    Super expensive for bad food - it was overly crowded and we were put at a table that was too small for our group size. The host was notified and said they couldn’t accommodate us despite us making a reservation a month prior. It was a horrible bday experience.

    We were celebrating our daughter's 21st birthday. Staff was very friendly and accommodated us when we asked last-minute to add 4 more to our party. Food was amazing, perfectly cooked and seasoned. The colored lighting in our area made it difficult to take good pictures, so I would suggest requesting a white-light area if you want good photos. Overall, the evening was unforgettable and my daughter was overwhelmed with joy.

    Wow!!! What an amazing experience I had at this location. I’ve been to multiple locations but STK SF is top notch, host staff, managers and service was outstanding. Every bite of the steak was melting in my mouth. I recommend A5 Japanese wagyu with the zingy rub and the umami butter.👌
