An excellent meal ruined by overly loud club music.
Food and recommendations from waitress were fantastic. Steaks were perfectly cooked and two of the best steaks we've ever had. The waitress was well versed in the menu and food and provided the right amount of attention.
There was a dj playing in the bar. The volume was turned up so high that we could feel the base vibrations while seated. Thought most of the meal, the volume was so high that we had to speak loudly or yell to be heard across the table.
The club vibe is not what's expected at a high-end steak restaurant where a meal for 2 is over $400.
Went out to dinner for my birthday amazing atmosphere staff was kind and friendly food was phenomenal love STK
The experience could not have been better. Juan Carlos, the manager, was very welcoming and friendly. Our waitress was very helpful when recommending us favorite plates. Everything was delicious! In a 5 day span, we went there twice.
It's very overpriced for the quality you receive. It's also trying way, way too hard to be trendy and hip. It's extremely loud. Inside and outside have DJs blasting dance music. So basically picture yourself trying to eat a $50 steak (that doesn't include sides -- those are extra) with dance music so loud you can't hear anyone else at your table. It was okay, but I probably won't be back.
Overpriced and mediocre. Crab cake was a single small (maybe 2” across) cake for $36! Truffle fries were meh (hard to mess that up) and portion was small. Steaks were both over cooked. They made us new ones quickly and gave us free sliders.
There were no waffles for the chicken and waffles so you could either get pancakes or french toast as a substitute. The french toast they gave me was very gummy since the hot chicken hot sauce had soaked it before it even got to me. Epic fail on the substitution but the $30 bottomless mimosas and our server Alfred did not disappoint.
Food is excellent. Great vegas vibes. Love this spot. Never disappoints.
The food & atmosphere were amazing!
Super overpriced for the meal. If you’re looking for a great steak there are multiple steak houses in the Denver metro area who do a much better job. I would rate the steak quality a half a notch above outback or Texas Roadhouse.
Love stk - but this location is the worst we have been to. Service not good - never got to the food. Danielle and her team in Chicago are great - but we do not recommend the Denver location.
Service was great however the food was overcooked on several of the dishes we ordered.
Food and Service was excellent. Definitely will come back next time I’m in town.
Love it Thanks Katey for the great service
The service was awesome and the atmosphere was so fun!!!! Loved it
Next level dining! Food and atmosphere were fabulous!
Shaun did a fabulous job and made our dining experience amazing! He recommended some amazing dishes that we really enjoyed.
Loved the vibe! The steak was great!
TOO LOUD. Music volume / bass was so extreme we could not hear anyone at our table (we had to yell to be heard). Surprised it was that loud, that early (our reservation was for 6:30). I expect louder music after 9pm but not during an earlier dinner seating. It completely detracted from our dining experience and you could tell our guests were frustrated by it. Service was okay. Some items we ordered were forgotten, drinks were not refreshed quickly, and our bill was incorrect (extra items added from the table next to us).
Food and waitstaff were both wonderful but it was painfully slow- need to hire more staff!
Seated 645 and left at 1030 pm foe my daughters birthday. Plus are the wine list and special sparkler and dessert for her birthday:)
This was our second time.
Meal and service were both exceptional.
The atmosphere was very nice. The service could have been better and the Cowgirl Ribeye entree was overcooked and over priced. The sides were delicious.
AMAZING EXPERIENCE. The drinks were delicious. Had great appetizer options on Happy Hour. A couple of our steaks came out over cooked and the manager and server were so accommodating. The desserts were amazing as well. Such a great dining experience.
Hi Kelsey, Thank you for your 5 star review! We are so happy you had a great time with us!
The food was amazing. The staff was very attentive ... not overly ... just right!! I will be going back for sure.
We had dinner on Sunday evening and the place wasn't too busy, the atmosphere was good and the food was awesome. It's on the higher price but well worth it.
HI Fernando! Thank you for your 5 star review!
Showed up and waited 25 minutes to then be told they had to shutdown restaurant because of a leak. Very disappointing,
For the amount you spent here it’s really not worth it. We went to Ocean Prime the night before and the food was better and we spent $100 less. It’s very loud which was tolerable but the table next to us was yelling at each other just to talk. The server was very inattentive for a high end steak house. We ordered a bottle of wine which she poured but then never even attempted to refill our glasses. The had an issue and needed to turn off the water as we finished our main course. Then told us they were closing early and couldn’t order dessert, although they were still taking orders for main courses. The dessert menu was not very appealing anyway so not a loss there. Overall I felt this was very overpriced. I would recommend Ocean Prime, not STK
It wasn’t so much that the music and noise level is REALLY loud, or that every table around us also had service issues regarding their orders and accuracy thereof. It wasn’t just that our steak came out rare (ordered medium), and then we were fairly sure they just threw back under the broiler for a few minutes. I am not rating based on the fact the steak was definitely NOT dry aged as advertised, or that the menu is very limited (4 or 5 appetizers..). The kicker is that the prices are absurd. $150 for a Tomahawk that was barely large enough to feed two? Come on.. $16 sides, $25 small and not so great cocktails, $36 for a crab cake.
Do yourself a favor and avoid this place, very loud, terrible service, mediocre food and very expensive.
Hopefully, once they go out of business a better steakhouse will take their place..
This restaurant is grossly overpriced. The food is good, the service is friendly and attentive, but if I’m paying $85 for a steak and $16 for a small plate of french fries, it had better be an awesome experience and I’m afraid it wasn’t here.
I’ve never waited so long to eat after ordering food. The manager comped the whole meal because it took so long which wasn’t my goal. Won’t be back to STK.
I was in town with my wife for a wedding, and we took my Father in Law out to dinner. Great food with an energizing atmosphere.
We enjoy the STKs throughout the country but this one is clearly the worst run of them all. We’ve probably been here 6 times and have never had an experience that meets the standard. Poorly cooked food, fussy service, etc. We only go now if we can’t find a reservation at a more reliable place. Good luck!
I'll be honest... very cool restaurant but the food is very lacking for the price. The food is under seasoned and not cooked properly. I get the pandemic is still enduring however for the price we paid I could have got the same meal at Longhorn for a third of the price. When you are paying $90 for a ribeye I'd expect top quality meat. Also lump crab cake probably should have, I don't, lump crab. Just saying.
Reservation was at 8:00, got seated at 9:00. No bread, seated in bar area, after another hour we left at 10:00 hungry
5th wedding anniversary. Unfortunately, we arrived on time and was told to go buy drinks and wait in the bar. It took 20+ mins to get drinks and only after the bartender refused to serve certain drinks because they were under him to make. He eventually made them after insulting one of our party members. After attempting to be seated several times they sat us an hour and half later. The drinks at the table came back wrong and two of our steaks came out wrong. This was a very bad/poor experience.
STK had a good rating and I thought it would be a nice place to go for a date night. I made a reservation for 7:00 pm well in advance. When I arrived I was told to wait at the bar for a few minutes to get a drink, which was fine with me with Covid and the staffing situations restaurants are in. My wait turned I went from 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, to 40 minutes until I was seated. Once seated, the service was subpar at best. Drinks weren’t filled, food was late, the server had a hard time explaining the menu. Once I finally received my steak it was at least medium well when I ordered medium rare. I would have told the waiter but it wasn’t for at least 20 minutes until I saw them again.
Now, I completely understand understaffed restaurants and the difficulties they have to overcome especially with Covid, however, the issues I saw were not from staffing or being busy or anything else like that. These problems were from being, and I hate to say it, a low quality steakhouse. I’ve been to outback, Texas Roadhouse, etc. and if the service or food is subpar, I understand why. It’s because I’m paying $50 for two people to eat steaks. But when I pay nearly $500 for two people to eat steaks and the food and service is worse than the $50 steakhouse, that’s not acceptable.
Very good food and great staff. Loud background.
Food was perfect, steak was amazing. Hardly you can find this kind of good steak. But service wasn’t so good.. we were waiting very long to be able to order, then to get our food, then to get a check…
