   The server was awesome really on helping out. Unfortunately the quality of the steak was not worth the price point. Got a dry aged porter house, medium rare. It came medium-well, the crust tasted pretty burnt not the usual smoky char you would expect. Ordered calamari, and it was just rubbery. For the $300 I spent on dinner, I could’ve got a much better steak at a near-by restaurant like Daniels Broiler or 13 coins, and paid way less for quality steak.

   we were provided with no service for 20 minutes after sitting down. staff all bunched up in the back bar just having a good time. asked 2 waitresses if we can get service. nothing happened. i flagged the manager. we were sent the wrong order twice. finally got the food after 50 minutes. wrong order again. ordered a medium rare lamfb - it was overcooked. very overpriced food with no attention to detail. this restaurant deserves negative stars.

   Service is slow. Steak is mediocre. The truffle fries and mushroom sides were good. Beef short ribs are also good. Chocolate cake and donuts were good too.

    Went there with friends for happy hour. Price looked reasonable but food portion was extremely small. Not too many ppl there during Friday hh time so it was kind of cozy to hang out there. In general, it’s a nice place to hang out but you won’t enough food during happy hour. My first time there and will be my last time too

    We’ve been to STK but, never had their brunch until today. It was good, not great. My mom and I had the pork belly eggs benedict. It was a bit hard to eat as the English muffins and pork belly were quite hard to cut through with a butter knife. I would recommend maybe serving it with a different knife. My husband had the French toast which was delicious. Our server was very nice and on top of things. However, it seemed like it took quite a long time to get our food when the restaurant was pretty empty. This was our second time coming where it seemed like the wait time was excessive when the restaurant was quite empty during a week day lunch service. It seems out of the norm for most higher end restaurants in our area. I wish I could say I was impressed but, it just doesn’t hit the mark.

    The atmosphere was very “hip;” the food tasted good; however, the food was not worth the cost of the meal. I have had better steaks at a lower cost at other high-end steak restaurants. I would recommend this place for drinks.

    From the minute we sat down it felt like the waitress was trying to upsell us. We decided to share a tomahawk steak, and when it came out, it was actually a bone with a New York steak already cut next to it.

    I came in for brunch on February 26th with my daughter. Ordered a medium steak and received rare. My daughter was almost finished with her food by the time I received my meal. The server said we would get some type of discount but we did not. Could have at least offered dessert. We pay STK prices because we expect better customer service than other restaurants.

    This restaurant is different, just know that when you go. The decor is a little wild which is fine to look at but some of the female staff seem to be a bit underdressed. Now this place is obviously set up for a younger crowd because at night it gets a little wild or so I’m told which is cool it just seems strange that this is advertised as a steak restaurant on a higher scale but the atmosphere isn’t what you would expect. Don’t get me wrong though, I had a Delmonico steak that was incredible with the additions of their spicy rub and wagu butter that they torch at your table to melt, it’s the best steak I’ve had in a while and I frequent steak houses. The service was great and food is excellent, I’m just making you aware of the not so traditional ambience. If your looking to party this may be your place later in the evening, they even have a DJ for music.

    My elderly mother and I went for a birthday lunch this week. We got there and there were only 2 other tables in use in the large restaurant. We immediately noticed that it was extremely cold in the room and cold air was blowing on us from the ceiling. (It was snowing outside and it seemed like the air conditio ing was on) We asked if they could adjust the heat and our waitress simply said no. She did not say why it was so cold. We then asked if we could sit in a warmer section away from the door and we were told it was closed. At that point, we were the only people in the restaurant, but no one took our drink or food orders for a good 15 minutes. We also asked if the extremely loud music could be turned down because we couldnt hear each other across the table and couldn't hear the waitress standing right next to us since we were the only ones there. We were told no. We were in our parkas and were still freezing cold. We then asked to talk to a manager who moved us to the warmer section just before our food was delivered. At that point we had been there for 30 -40 minutes. We noticed that the hostess had a space heater at her station and the employees were all also wearing their parkas it was so cold. We hoped our food would make up for the cold, but when I tried to bite into my steak sandwich, it was so tough I couldn't bite through it. I took out the meat to see if the rest was better, and it was all gristle. At that point, we told the manager we were leaving. He listened to our concerns and had excuses about the heat and gave us a minimal apology. He did not offer anything to try to make up for our experience. We left and wasted a miserable hour freezing and did not ever get to eat!

    Was a slower night so the restaurant was pretty empty. Probably why our food came so fast, apps came within 5 mins and 5 mins after that our entrees came. Made for an odd dining experience with everything our table all at once, unfortunately it meant the entree getting cold by the time we got to them. We’re not those type of guests but it would’ve been nice to have been offered by the server to take away the entrees and maybe keep ‘em warm in the kitchen or even re-fire the items but no luck. Ribeye with truffle butter and the lobster mac and cheese were the highlights but the braised short rib was so over cooked it was inedible. Signature cocktails were pretty weak for the $20+ price point, sadly our dinner didn’t live up to the hype.

    Overall 2/5. Food was okay, however for the price I would definitely not recommend, as well something gave us really bad stomach aches after. We had leftovers but didn’t bother eating them again. Shrimp scampi was full of unnecessary oils too. Service was good and the actual inside is beautiful. It was suppose to be my birthday celebration but the host and service probably overlooked it. Not a super big deal but didn’t give the vibe I was hoping. Overall I wouldn’t recommend to dine. Great for content purposes tho.

    This is my third visit and unfortunately it was “three strikes and you’re out” rather than the hoped-for “third time’s the charm”. I previously chalked up problems to opening pains, but that excuse has expired. I’m familiar with their venues in Manhattan, LA, and Las Vegas which have better service and food quality. You can’t blame STK for being what it is, essentially a cross between a club and a dinner place. So expecting to have a civil conversation competing with the loud ever present music and speakers over every table is hopeless. But be advised: it’s loud. But I can be judgmental about their service and food quality, which for the price they charge should be exemplary. While my server was very friendly, between the cloud of perfume that followed her (tainting both wine and food), her lack of knowledge of the menu (the type of oysters, meats, and sourcing), and the up selling of condiments with inaccurate descriptions, I rate it low. The Cowgirl of bone-in rib-eye was merely ok, and certainly not worth the price. The apple pie crust was undercooked and the filling in want of actual apples (ironic in Washington state), with a sad misshapen dollop of indescribable white stuff on top. The by-the-glass wine list is missing vintages even for glasses at $50 (you must manually look them up in the bottle list). The servers came too often in the middle of eating and conversation and not at all between courses, never filled water (and in fact ran out of bottled water!), and rushed the entree well before the appetizers were finished. The upsold $15 umami wagyu was terrible and failed to melt by the showy burner. Unless you enjoy overpaying in the purple lit loud environment (and there are those who do) I would pick ANY of the other steakhouses within a few blocks over STK. El Gaucho, Ruth Chris, Daniels Broiler, John Howie, Ascend — Bellevue has an embarrassment of riches in high end steakhouses, all with better wine lists, better food, and better service.

    I’ve been here before had an amazing first time, came back for a 2nd time on a date, traveling from out of town. Food and my server was great like always, but I’m confused as why I have a reservation at 8pm and haven’t been sat down until 5 mins before 9pm. Theres no point for reservation if I’m waiting that long unless there was a 2 hour table limit. Then after sitting down for another 10/15 mins I had to call for a server to ask who our server was and they randomly became our server, so it’s like if I didn’t say anything would they have came. But the server was still great I believe his name was Peter and food was great as always.
