   Stella’s was an amazing experience! From the decor, every single detail inside the restaurant was really chic and modern. The service was espectacular, the waitress explain and answered our questions and recommended great dishes since it was our first time. The menu is unique and everything we ordered was delicious. The presentation was impressive. I had the carpaccio and the scallops. We also had desert and a cappuccino. The wine list from Tuscany was very well selected. They said it’s been open for only 2 moths and we’ll definitely go back!

   As the large steel door glides open, unmarked except for a large S, it feels you're transported to a restaurant experience like you'd find in LA or NYC. Simply put, it's a beautiful dining experience. The service is impeccable and the ambiance is unlike any other Boulder, or Colorado restaurant. A live DJ/keyboardist plays chill music while you peruse the thoughtfully created menu with unique Italian dishes. You'll find unique ingredients that include spring truffles, butterfly pea pasta and gorgonzola foam (on the bruschetta!). Drinks are expertly crafted, and their espresso martinis are made fresh with real espresso pulled at the bar. This is the new Boulder hotspot and we can't wait to go back.

   We were unfortunately very underwhelmed by our experience. The space and vibe is great but the food was surprisingly mediocre. I hate to say it, but it was mostly under seasoned and boring and bland. And then after hoping for a little salt on everything, the fish came and it was a salt BOMB. With all the hype and such a strong culinary scene in Boulder, we expected better. We will come back for drinks at the bar, but will skip the food and dining experience in the future. You’re better off having a pre-dinner cocktail here and then heading to Corrida or Basta or Oak or just about anywhere else.

   Beautiful space and delicious food. The only downside was that we felt extremely rushed by our server who was pressuring us to move along. We were a group of four friends who wanted to spend time talking and we definitely felt like we were being rushed so they could turn our table over. Ironically, that is the exact opposite of a dining experience in actual Italy. That said, we’ll be back because the food was excellent.

    Gorgeous new spot in downtown Boulder. Beautiful, modern Milan decor. Great food with appropriately sized Italian portions (not Texas-sized), albeit rather modest menu. Perfectly cooked risotto. Good Italian wine list. Wait staff and owner were all engaging and appropriately available -- understood our desire to eat slowly and enjoy, without having our plates cleared as quickly as possible or being totally ignored. Will go back again.

    Delightful surprise of a restaurant. I had no idea what to expect as I went there on a whim but everything was wonderful. I brought 2 teenagers who are picky eaters and they LOVED everything. That almost never happens! Can’t wait to go back

    The vibe is great Manhattan meets Boulder - the bread is homemade & perfect with delicious olive oil! The new Italian is pretty good but very small portions. The service leaves a lot to be desired for and they never do table checks and also leave empty dishes on table and forget to fill up water glasses for long periods of time. The restaurant has a good idea & potential but as of right now disappointing. This is coming from a high standards east coaster!

    This was a wonderful evening from arrival through to getting our coats to leave. The hosts were beautiful and very welcoming, Oleg was a wonderful waiter and our water glasses were never empty. The food was outstanding, especially the home made pasta. Everything was faultless and the ambiance, live music and DJ is top notch. This is way more than a restaurant this is entertainment, dance venue (late) and food and bar all together. This restaurant is going to put Boulder seriously on the map. Great team, decor is stunning.

    1st time; special ambiance with deceptively small footprint. Mirrors enlarged the perception. Unique for Boulder. Peak/high pricing may get old — though, I’m Down to come again. Think the world of bev mngr James… great hire! Will bring friends

    Once you pull open the inconspicuous silver door with the sculpted “S” on the handle, it’s clear you’re in for a special dining experience. A simplified modern aesthetic design with a beautiful central bar surrounded by a ring of tables and banquettes accented with a wall-size color art monitor across the space is unique sensory experience. The staff was gracious and attentive throughout the evening. Incredibly crafted cocktails were fun to watch the bartenders create. Had to resist ordering at least one course to make it through to delicious desserts that were creatively presented like the Terra Misu in a small clay pot. Every course was remarkably flavorful. A great hidden gem in Boulder.

    We took our favorite nephew out to celebrate his 48th birthday. Stella’s staff was wonderful & engaging. Hugs from Stella. Good prices on unusual wines. The ravioli was excellent as was the Veal chop. The bar in the center was attractive & busy. The black decor and “art” was not to our taste.

    Absolutely beautiful, chic space with a very cool vibe. Service was outstanding. Our server Alex was great. Stella herself, and the GM Jason were very engaged with diners the entire night, stopping by to check on and chat with us. The Carpaccio was amazing. The Spaghetti Vongole was extremely salty, but Jason offered to replace it. The whole Sea Bass was very flavorful. The live music added nicely to the ambience and made it feel like a hip Vegas or NY lounge. At 9:15 a DJ took over and the energy picked up and a portion of the dining space because the dance floor. Overall, we enjoyed our evening immensely, and despite the minor food slip up, we’ll definitely be back.

    Beautiful atmosphere and design, service was a bit slow and the food was just ok. Drinks were great, solid wine list. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Live music was a great addition. Will come back and hope they improve the food to match the elevated atmosphere, as this is a very special place and given they just opened a month ago, they’ll probably iron things out in the coming months.

    The overall experience was stellar at Stella’s. The one issue we had was the seasoning. The two seafood dishes we had pasta vongole and the sea bass were very salty. And the porcini mushrooms serve with the steak very peppery. Other than that everything was prepared perfectly. I will definitely come back.

    Stella’s is a breath of fresh air for Boulder. The owner is warm and personable and genuinely cares about your experience there. She’s delightful. Happy they’re here. Staff are attentive. Food is very good. Drinks are amazing. Great experience

    We had a wonderful evening on Valentine’s Day. The food was amazing, but my husband thought his portion was a little small for the price. We will return for a date night and try the full menu. I would definitely recommend Stella’s to a friend.

    The location is a bit hidden off the main street behind a door with an "S" on the front, which gives the place a cool secret vibe. Had the valentine's dinner 4-course menu, and the food was really amazing. The crostini appetizer with creamy truffle sauce was our favorite. The atmosphere, mood, and service are all amazing as well. We will definitely be going back, either for the delicious food, or drinks with an incredible atmosphere.

    We are huge foodies and this is by far one of the most exceptional culinary experiences we have had in the greater metro area. The black truffle steak outweighed any steak we have had in CO. The carpaccio and ravioli were also noteworthy. All the staff we interacted with were knowledgeable and kind. The decor and ambiance were an added plus! Only request would be to put a sign outside- loved the secret entrance but had to help two separate parties find the place on the way back to the car!

    Fantastic service. Amazing food. Best fillet my wife and I have ever had. Wonderful atmosphere everyone was perfect and very friendly. Would definitely recommend for a date night or just a fancy dinner with a great story to tell. Stella was so nice and friendly. We will be coming here again.
