   We called several times, and phone went directly to voice. Left my phone number, and asked for a return call. Never happened. Could not find hours for lunch ending and dinner beginning. Reserved table on line. When we arrived we were told that they were completely sold out of the special menu. Very frustrating.

   A featured menu item was out by the time we arrived for Downtown Dining- on the first day! My food came undercooked, and I waited 20 minutes for the dish to be corrected while the others at my table ate their food. A mere apology was offered when my entree arrived and the others, done with theirs, awaited dessert.

   The service was deplorable. Our waitress never checked in us , they tried to give our food to another table, when we told them we wanted to leave after being there all of 10 minutes they never cared to find out why. Do not go to this place it is a terrible restaurant with terrible service. Oh and on top of that the food we took to go was made incorrectly and my wife’s salmon was made flavorless no seasoning what so ever

   The lunch menu was rather limited. I had a Caesar salad and my wife had the tomato soup. The soup was quite good as were the croutons in both the soup and the salad. I ordered blackened chicken with the salad and it was served Cajun. Extremely dry, and salty The BloodyMary’s had no flavor to them. We wanted to add horseradish but they had none A bit disappointing

    Overall experience was good but not great. Uncomfortably warm temps in the dining area for most of the evening. Food was pretty solid i thought. Most of our party enjoyed their meal while a couple reported that it was just ok. Service was average.

    Kate was amazing, very kind. There was a table that wouldn’t stop screaming, but there was nothing the restaurant could’ve done about that. Over all it was a great experience. Will DEFINITELY be coming back.

    Another great visit to Stella. We enjoyed the food and the delightful service from from server, Vanessa. All of the staff was very kind and hospitable. Our group enjoyed eggs Benedict and the quinoa bowl. Everything was excellent. We will definitely return.

    Very friendly server, food was excellent but very slow to arrive and the restaurant was not overly busy to justify the 80 minute wait from order time to arrival. Our dinner was served hot, except for the filet which you could tell had been sitting around for awhile.

    Very enjoyable dinner experience. Good cocktails, wine, and delicious food. Our server did a wonderful job. We were celebrating my daughter’s birthday which I noted when the reservation was made. Our server was unaware when I mentioned it. But she brought us desert for the table along with a candle. If you’re on a budget, this is not the place for you.

    Our waitress Katie was perfect. And the manager made us very welcomed. Our bartender was so nice and knowledgeable. The salad I had was very good small but good! Loved the green goddess dressing. No bread with the salad. The steaks were ridiculously overpriced and so food selection was minimal. Why are the steaks so expensive? Love scallops but only 3 of them? So I ordered the Bolgonese spaghetti dish but couldn't eat it as it was very hot to the taste. My bread pudding excellent and Brussels sprouts were great.

    Awesome experience. Food was amazing, the steak was the best I’ve ever had. Our server, don’t know her name, was amazing. She was very attentive and very nice. The only complaint I have is the steaks should come with a side for how much you’re paying but overall, I had a great time!

    I’ve worked on a cruise ship for 3 years in the Italian restaurant. Stella was a wonderful experience just like the ship! The food was just as amazing! Steak.. butter. Didn’t even need a knife. I will be back!

    This restaurant fails at a lot of levels: salmon was overcooked, scallops were undercooked, no inquiry as to doneness. Mussels were ok but … no seafood fork - really? Don’t put a dish on the menu that you don’t have the appropriate utensils for. Overall, nice space but poor quality of preparation for price. To be fair, no one ordered the $80 steak, so perhaps that’s their sweet spot.

    Came out with 9 other guest to celebrate my daughters 30th birthday. Everything was amazing! Kate was very attentive, she cut and served our cake and also hid my daughters gift and brought it out later! She was great!!!!! Thanks so much for the best experience.     Amazing steaks cooked perfectly - easily the best dinner date in Milwaukee we have tried. Great wine and drink selection. Relaxing high-end atmosphere. Our waitress Zoee was great too.

    As always, Stella is a massive hit. Customer service was fantastic, and the food was even better. I got the 8 oz. fillet steak with fries subbed for the mashed potatoes, and loved it. I have yet to have a bad experience there, and will continue coming back! Perfect date night/celebration spot for a meal, and an awesome bar for happy hour/drinks with friends. There are always people, but it's never too loud, and everyone seems to be enjoying themselves. Also, the interior design is worth seeing in and of itself! Just a sweet atmosphere altogether. Can't wait for the weather to improve to use the outdoor patio. 10/10

    The food was delicious. We enjoyed a Caesar Salad, Wedge Salad, Tomato Basil Soup and Burrata for starters. Moved onto entrees and spaghetti with butter, scallops and the Porterhouse Steak for two, INCREDIBLE. My mouth is still watering from that steak. The prices were a bit high so most likely won’t return unless it is another special occasion. The service was awesome as well. Overall we enjoyed our evening and left there very happy 😁

    We stopped for a birthday dinner. I had the scallops which were fabulous! Nice and tender, perfectly prepared. The atmosphere at the restaurant was very pleasant and our server was great! I will definitely chose to come here again!

    Everything was great - the only small complaint was that it seemed to take a while for our food to get to the table. But other than that everything was really good. Would definitely return.
