    Service was great. However, the food tasted and smelt bad! I had the lamb chops and my husband had steak we were in and out within 30 min. The food wasn’t even hot. Unfortunately wouldn’t recommend!

    Everything was pretty much great but the service could have been way better. They were so press to give us the check without us asking for one and than after we had paid they didn’t even ask if we needed a Togo box bag nothing. I had to get up and asked after 30min of waiting. They got their money and that was that. Maybe it’s just me but don’t bring me the check unless I ask for it. How you know I’m done ordering?

    Station 4 is our regular go-to restaurant before a trip to Arena Stage, and as usual, they were great. My wife had the rare tuna salad and brussel sprouts and they came out great. I had the chicken Caesar salad. They grill the chicken with spices that make it especially good on the salad. We then topped it off by sharing the red velvet cake with ice cream. The service was excellent too. We were not by chance at a table served by our regular server but he came by and chatted for a while; it was nice to see him. We always feel welcomed there.

    So upon entering the establishment I was greeted by the Host, he was very nice and personable. Unfortunately that was the highlight of my experience. The customer service from the waiter is what ultimately shifted our experience. The entire experience felt rushed in the beginning, and when we weren’t able to give our orders right away , we were left to sit . The waiter left us to sit for an entire 30 mins before I waived down a host , at this point the waiter came over took our order and left. He did not apologize for the wait nor did he offer any explanation as to why we were left to sit for such an extensive time . Granted I worked in the hospitality/ restaurant industry and I do understand when the establishment is under a higher volume . Unfortunately this was not the case , there were only 3 other parties inside the building, which only added on to the frustration I was already experiencing. Overall I did not enjoy my experience and hope for better . Please take this constructive criticism as a way to build and grow your establishment. Thank you .

    David the waiter customer service was awful. The manager tried to help at the end however the damage was done. The kicker was our bill was $81 and we gave him $100 he stated he didn’t have any change and expected to keep the $100 when gratuity was already included. However it seemed to be acute birthday vide given having the correct waiter.

    Overall the food is good, but if you're sharing appetizers, be aware that some are quite large (calamari) & others are fairly small (scallops). Service and ambiance are great!

    We ate here before going to the Arena Stage around the corner. Station 4 doesn't advertise it, but they have a Pre-Fixe Pre-Theater menu. That's an outstanding value and meal! We had their Cauliflower (vegetarian) and Braised Rib (Beef) entrees, French Onion Soup, Hummus app, a Sorbet/Gelato dessert and a glass of house wine. Compliments to the chef. Service was absolutely perfect; a word of note on that. We arrived at 5:30PM and there were not many patrons. By 6:15PM, the place was packed (show started at 7:30PM). Go Early! There's also a Happy Hour at the bar. Convenient to the DC MetroRail station across the street. BTW, if you have a show ticket, they give you 10%off regular priced entrees (which can be pricey!).

    Overall the location and ambiance is ideal. Upscale brunch however the service was lacking. We had a bday brunch and the food came out very quickly but I found my brunch burger to not have any season and tasted like beef. The service was very slow and when bought to the mgr attention the solve was a different server. I will say the service turned around towards yhr end but we went the previous hour with poor service. All in all had a decent time but wouldnt return or recommend. There are better brunch spots in DC IMO.

    Came here for my birthday dinner, food is overpriced for how it tastes. Our server may have been new or having a bad day because the service was not the best I’ve received. Seemed annoyed and dismissive, ordered the Grilled Branzino and Jambalaya dish without the branzino and extra shrimp instead.. my food was bland, there was no “creole sauce” as described, rice was cooked in bland tomato sauce and the food was watery. Upon sending it out and exchanging it for calamari and fries, our server didn’t want to comp my food and tried to pressure me to buy something around the same price of $42. Overall, not worth the prices or service, ambience/decor was great but service and food were subpar.

    It's a beautiful restaurant with a very nice menu. We were seeing a play and they had a menu for play goers or you could order off the menu. Our waiter was superb.

    Food was awesome! We enjoyed celebrating a colleagues new job! The lemon drop martini and the old fashion were awesome! Loved the cheese pizza and the old bay wings ! Definitely will return for happy hour again!

    Food was very basic. The Instagram hype was not comparable. Menu did not offer much. Food was cold and unseasoned. Ambiance wasn’t as tasteful as pictured. Area outside was smelly.

    We had a reservation but when we got to restaurant they said they had no tables available and we would have to wait. When we were finally seated we did not get any menus and had to flag someone down to get service. It then took 40 minutes for our food to arrive. Food was Ok, not worth the price and then for a party of two, they included a 20 percent tip on bill.

    Whoever met guests that night at check-in needs some basic training. I don’t believe she said a word and seemed irritated we took her away from her phone. After that everything was great.

    I went for my birthday brunch. It took 10 mins for a service to come over, when he finally arrived it took him almost another 10 minutes to come back with our drinks. I order bottomless mimosas but the way he kept coming back so infrequently I was only able to have three. The bathroom could use an update/refresh. It was a mid experience I probably won’t be going back.

    Very unhappy that we were told by our brand new server that there was no pre-theatre dinner special that night. We requested to speak to the manager who then brought us the specials menu but literally told us—the customer—that we should have asked for them upon arrival. We, the customer, did ask our server, who checked with the server team and replied to us that it wasn’t available that night. Outrageous that the lack of training by the restaurant should somehow be the customer’s fault. Food was good but service was poor.

    A last-minute decision to explore another option in The District. Arrived 15 minutes before a 7:30 PM reservation - promptly greeted and seated (party of 2). Spacious dining room, low noise, respectable crowd, attentive waiter. Watery, both Old Fashion and Margarita. (Declined another round). Fish and Chips for me (not a fan of Haddock) However, to my surprise, I enjoyed three plump juicy, and seasoned pieces. Warm and wimpy fries - bland cole slaw (small serving - blink your eye (you’ll miss it - but not for its taste. Homemade Mediterranean Hummus and Pita - Yummy! Freshness and appeals to the eyes when it hits the table. Needed more Hummus!!
