Although it wasn't busy, service was pretty slow. I understand the shortages in the restaurant business right now so that is probably the reason. The food - a French Dip was very mediocre. I'm not a fan although my husband raved about the State and Main in Orillia. He agreed that the food at this one was not great compared to his experience in Orillia.

We enjoyed our dinner a lot! The service was very fast and friendly! The calamari was a touch overdone but good! I’m not a fan of high tables and chairs because of my short stare and almost 70 so challenge to get up and down but I next time I will request the normal table!

Our food was excellent! The server was amazing, she was very knowledgeable but also a lot of fun. Overall we had an excellent experience on our first visit to State and Main. The only suggestion I would make is that there be more vegetarian options as one of our party is vegetarian but she did find something she could eat and really enjoyed it.

We arrived a little early for our reservation, we were seated at 8:03 and not a single server came to see us until 8:28. I understand that it was busy but waiting almost 30 minutes to be served is inexcusable. There were many servers that were working that evening but all of them avoided eye contact. I really enjoyed my first dinner at this restaurant but after this experience I will not be rerun.

Took over 20 minutes to order our drinks, yet servers walked past our table several times until the manager came over realizing we hadn’t been spoken to whatsoever. A server was lighting candles and skipped ours?? Over half the menu was unavailable, we had to change our apps several times, and there was only one flatbread? (Does your kitchen not actually make food??) there was a birthday party happening where they had children running around, sticking their faces in your (a strangers) food, blowing loud streamers with no regard for other customers. Ended up leaving after eating the semi decent (and only available) apps, and went to Harvey’s for a burger and fries.

Ordered the teriyaki bowl which I have ordered before and was always very happy with it. This time the portion was cut in half and the price went up. Went away still hungry and felt ripped off. I have been a long time customer but this will be the last time I go there

Came here to celebrate my birthday with my parents and we had such a great time! The service was absolutely fantastic and attentive! The ambience was really nice and the place is very clean and bright. The food was amazing, we decided to buy a bunch of appetizers and entrees and share all the food so we can try lots of things together. We tried the Jalapeño Mac & cheese, Bacon and tomato soup, Spanako Flatbread, Dragon boat lettuce wraps and Fish Tacos. All the food and drinks were great, but the best thing was the Mac & Cheese, we loved it so much we bought a second one. So good! We will definitely come back again. Well done everyone!
