Everything was great service wise . We were disappointed with the French Onion soup . My Dad had a filet which he stated was overcooked. Prime Rib was good . Overall not a bad place for dinner .

Our dinner was excellent! My sister was visiting so we chose to take her to Spoons. My husband and I have previously visited Spoons for breakfast and lunch and have not been disappointed We had the giant meatball pasta, open faced prime rib sandwich, desert burger and portabello burger and we shared an Enstrom toffee ice cream cake on a cloud. We recommend to anyone who has never been and also for its cause.

We all had the prime rib. Tender, perfectly prepared, and delicious. The wait staff was attentive and knowledgeable without being obtrusive. The wines and dessert were excellent. Without question the best restaurant in Grand Junction!

The service and food were great! Lots of good choices for every palate. Tables were spaced enough (outside) that even with a full house, it wasn't noisy. Dogs are allowed outside and there were several - all well behaved. I'd recommend the Spaghetti and Meatball, cobbler of the day was very good. The fried tortellini was from a frozen package and not very good; mushroom entree had a bit too much kale but otherwise, great for a vegetarian. Also supports a very worthy cause!!

I always crave the Halibut and it did not disappoint!! My husband enjoyed his fettucini alfredo with spicy grilled shrimp and my mom enjoyed her sun dried tomato pasta as well. The Enstrom's cake was super yummy as was the bread pudding and ice cream and cookies. What a great way to support Hospice!

We ordered the prime rib dinner special. It was nicely cooked to the amount of pink we requested. The salad and other side dish were fresh and tasty. It was nice to be served local wine as well. Nicely done Spoons, nicely done!

Somebody donated a ton of money to the hospice that owns this restaurant. I’m sure they would be sorely disappointed if they knew how poor management was and the service is at this restaurant. The hostess just barely greeted us. The server was just more interested in getting his side work done than anything else. We had to ask for everything from silverware, another bottle of wine because it was served warm and the wine was bad. After each course we had to sit there and wait way to long for the server to clear. Finally, I went behind the curtain where he was sitting there drinking a Coke and doing side work. Prime rib and potato.was served stone cold. The solution? From Managment all the way down - they all need to be let go. What a waste of money! We will NEVER come back.

Spoons was near the RV park we were staying at. It’s profits are used to support a hospice. Its indoor dining area is small. But as it was midsummer the larger outdoor space was rather hot to use. It would probably be great in spring and falll. The server’s response was quick and attentive. The dinner menu was limited but what we had was very good.

The salmon and filet were great. The prime rib didn’t have much flavor. Two Rivers wine is the only alcohol, which is a good winery, BUT NO BEER served. Seems a local brewery could be featured for beer and cider drinkers.

The food was great, loved the fried tortellini, but the portion size was tiny! The waiter also gave me incorrect information about the soup, so I ordered it and then didn't like it. We wanted to order dessert, but it took the waiter too long to come back and we were worried it would take too long to get the dessert and coffee at that point, so we had to pass. Main dishes were delicious, though, especially the halibut.

It was good value and solid food but the pictures I looked at on their website were not quite representative of the restaurant itself. I was expecting a more formal dining experience. We did have a spider hang down from the ceiling in the middle of our meal, which was unsettling but not anyone's fault. The staff was kind and courteous.

The food was delicious, the servers were very accommodating and friendly, and the dessert was out of this world! We chose to eat outdoors so we did not have the "ambience" of eating indoors, but that was out choice. Would like to eat indoors next time.
