Spinnerstown Hotel is a restaurant serving rustic local cuisine in Quakertown, Pennsylvania. The dining areas of the Spinnerstown Hotel are divided into two parts. The first is a casual bar and taproom, with 18 rotating beers on tap and a simple, rustic atmosphere. The second is a formal dining room complete with white linens, a roaring fireplace and hand-painted walls and ceiling. As for the cuisine, Spinnerstown Hotel is inspired by simple farmhouse fare, but with its own modern twist. Diners will find house-made burgers, Belgian-style mussels and hearty entrées like the hunter's pork with sweet potato gnocchi. In addition to these standards, the Spinnerstown Hotel menu is constantly under development, using fresh, seasonal ingredients to consistently create new dishes for guests to enjoy.
Johns always creative with the menu and is always very good
I must say that I was very pleasantly surprised with our visit. I had read all the reviews and they are good - but our visit was very good. We found a unique Italian wine we had in Tuscany and the menu was fabulous. From the onion soup to the burger and chicken sandwich, the food was excellent and the outside table was very nice.
Our server was great - all in all a great evening. I highly recommend the Spinnerstown Hotel for a great evening meal.
Came here to grab some dinner. Beer list is always great. But what continues to impress is the food. Had a couple of seasonal appetizers and loved them! Outdoor seating was great too!
Have already recommended them to several people. Menu nicely varied, all dishes for the four of us excellent, priced reasonably.
1st time visit. Would not request deck seating. High traffic, cycle noise distracting. Shared clam chowder tasted like Campbell's tomato. Clams non existant. Chicken on croissant was good, but bottom was soggy. Panini presentation sloppy. Bloody Mary, so-so, not much flavor. Service slow for drink, food and bill. Think our waitress needed some help.
The waitress was a little bit slow tending to us in the beginning but then it got much better. The dining area was full so it was hard to hear each other but it was still a very nice experience. Our food was very delicious!
Wonderful food. I had "The Susan" and it was delicious! My friend had the taco salad and loved it. The Peach Pie is the best I ever had. Can't wait to go back!
We celebrated our anniversary. What a great meal. Excellent service in a cute restaurant. Will definitely go back and would recommend.
Nice location due to convenience of turnpike. Ample parking, clean, large menu, and excellent food
The food, service and ambiance were great! We will be back!
This is my families local go to. Qe are never disappointed with the food, drinks or service. Stephanie was our waitress, whom we never had before, and she was awesome!
The scallops meal was absolutely amazing. But my boyfriend's steak was overcooked. Otherwise I would have given five stars for the food. I highly recommend the scallop dish. Service was excellent. It was quiet. Outside deck looked a little louder. The prices were fairly high. Two meals, one soda, one beer, one dessert was $100. If my boyfriend's steak wasn't overcooked I would have given a much higher score. Overall though it was a great evening.
Overall, we always like Spinnerstown. Good food. Great selection of beer. Mixed drinks a bit small for the price. This past Friday we had an odd experience there. We had a reservation for 4. The people at the table next to us had a reservation for 4. We did not know these people and were not dining with them. When we received our bills, there was an automatic 20% gratuity added. (We Normally do 20% or more) When asked why it was automatically added we were told because we had a party of 8. We all said that we were not together. Waitress said it was the managements rule, not hers. Just an odd rule to group two separate parties together to get a 20% tip. Next time I will let them know not to combine my table with the table next to me. 20% is fine, but should not be automatically added.
First time there....was wonderful! Very gluten free friendly!
Great place parking available interesting menu
Friendly place nice Ambience
Our family of four sat outside for dinner on a Tuesday evening. The waitress was very nice, but not in a hurry to take our order or bring the appetizer/entrees. It was not crowded, but it took a long time for dinner. Almost 1 + 1/2 hours. Good thing we were not in a hurry! We tried the lamb burgers, something different. They were tasty, but a little greasy. My husband had the kummelweck, a German meat. He said it was delicious. This is the second time we've eaten at the Spinnerstown, and we're happy with it.
Waitress was extremely kind and provided exceptional service. Food was delicious as well. An overall good experience.
We love the Spinnerstown. We go there every chance we get, but especially when they have live music.
The hostess and wait staff are very friendly and accommodating. Great food selections and very tasty! Definitely met our expectations for an excellent overall dining experience. Can’t wait to go back!
We had an unbelievably tasty meal at this restaurant. We knew exactly what to expect so we were not disappointed in the least. Nancy was our waitress...she couldn’t have been any nicer or more accommodating !!!
We ate dinner here to celebrate my husband's birthday - the food and service were outstanding. I can't remember the name of our server, but she really was one of the nicest and best servers I've ever had (she also manages events, etc there). We will definitely return - try the peach pie, it's made by a local and it's truly yummy (will be even better when fresh peaches are in season).
Awesome food and the service was top notch! Our server was very helpful with my brain-injured brother. She was patient and non-condensending. He had a great time! We all did.
We come here a lot because of their amazing Sweet and Sweaty wings and great beer selection. Service is never bad but it’s slower than expected the last few times we were there. We will still go back again and again.
This was our second visit to Spinnerstown and we enjoyed it even more than the first time!! The food and atmosphere were great....even took home the peach dessert for our daughter!! We have told our friends about it and plan on visiting the hotel more frequently.....it's on our "favorite places" list!!
My Husband and I were there for our anniversary we had great food and great service. We will definitely be going back😀
Highly recomended! This place is just good! The beer selection amazing. The food is outstanding. I will go back.
My sandwich was okay, my friend's burger was delicious but I was shocked that, on a Tuesday night, they were out of three items from a relatively small menu. But, the outside seating was perfect!
Everything was perfect as usual. We have been to the Spinnerstown Hotel on multiple occasions and it never disappoints.
Always love going to Spinnerstown to listen to Craig Thatcher Band and Craig and Nyke. Great atmosphere. Food is delicious. I think the mixed drink prices are too high. $11.50 for an Old Fashion seems expensive. The beer prices are ok.
the food was good. the cost was a little higher than expected but within the normal for its category. the time it took to get seated after already having a reservation was inappropriate. 30 mins after our set time. once we ordered our food it was an extended period of time to come to our table. the staff is pleasant and atmosphere very nice. i was displeased with the wait for our entree but my wife said it was bearable. fortunately her presence offset the wait to eat dinner.
Our waitress was great with a personality to match. We had one hiccup with someone’s order, but it was quickly made right and all enjoyed their food.
Great food and cocktails. Beer selection awesome as always
The food was good and the ambiance was great as we sat across from the fire place. Loved it. We had a great server. She was very helpful in suggesting food choices when we asked and very attentive. We will definitely return again soon!!
My husband and I really enjoyed our date night their. We have been to the Spinnerstown Hotel a few times every time has been great! For st Patrick’s day they a dessert call car bomb cupcake best cupcake ever!
Food was excellent, service was superior.
Food was served fast and prompt.
Food was excellent. Onion soup, outstanding. Ate too much and couldn't get dessert. We will be back
My wife and I enjoyed the experience except we both didn't like the entrees we ordered. The wedge salad was perfect and my wife's appetizer as well. The entrees could've been hotter, seems like it was sitting for a little. I would give it another try
Birthday dinner. Great food.
Delicious food! Great Service! Amazing desert. I love the wine selection as well!
My 50th birthday and wanted to have a good dinner with friends as well as listen to Craig and Nyke.
We had great service and the food was awesome. I am not a big drinker so the alcohol list was overwhelming but my friends enjoyed it. We will definitely return.
