We waited a little longer than usual to be seated with a reservation, but probably because it was a Saturday, was beautiful outside, and we wanted outdoor seating. The hosts were very attentive nonetheless. Great brunch!

It was a beautiful day. We had reservations, yet people walking on the street got a better table then us just because they were one in front of us at the host stand. We were “outside” in an enclosed box. They should have taken down some of the plexiglass knowing it was nice out. It was rather uncomfortable. The mimosas and beignets were the best. All else was average at best. Not worth the money.

We started with the mimosa tower. And as it sat at the table with us, it made the bottomless feel of the brunch REAL! Babe wanted beignets, they were sold out since opening. We ordered the Seasonal Omelet and the Shrimp & Grits BEFORE the mimosa tower. At the halfway mark we finished breakfast and ordered a side of bacon. Two thirds of the way through, we ordered a single pancake and the Short Rib Tacos. We devoured EVERYTHING. Our server Lede (rhymes with sweetie) was beautifully spirited and helpful. She was continuously engaging and warm. Her smile encouraged is to keep going. And we needed it! Clean restaurant and bathroom, vibrant and warm atmosphere!

Overall not a bad experiance. We decided to hit this place up for brunch. They didn't have pumpkin pancakes (Bummer). My friends thinks they don't season the food enough she needed to add salt and pepper to the food to be enjoyable. Overall great brunch place.

Everything was great. Food was tasty and creative. Service was amiable and efficient. My only complaint is the noise level. Between the piped in music and the general chatting of the patrons (it was a full house), it’s a little hard to have a decent conversation with companions. That being said, I would definitely return, just not going to plan for deep conversation.

Lipstick was on my coffee mug, 2 guest asked for sweet tea. The hostess should have informed then that is was regular unsweetened iced tea and sugar would need to be added.

Our reservation was at 12:45pm, but it was extremely crowded and we had an extended wait when we got there. However, the food was immaculate !!!! Jesus, the service with the food was extremely fast and amazing!!!! Now the server wasn’t as attentive as she should’ve, but was probably overwhelmed with the large crowd that was in. Although after a year of trying to get into this restaurant, we finally got in and LOVE IT!!! Brunch was AMAZING, drink was AMAZING and recommend the tower next time instead of the pitcher. Totally loved it!!!

Your table will be reserved for 1 hour 30 minutes..... unfortunately, that was not my experience as the host told us that someone is waiting for our table not even 60 mins into our dining experience. Our server was AWESOME (apologies for forgetting her name). The shadow cast by the host with her "hurry up, eat, and leave attitude" was terrible on the overall experience. This is my 2nd week in a row dining at SOMO and now I am rethinking my next brunch outing because of the host. To have your meal interrupted like that was very off-putting. She even approached other diners around us and said the same thing. One table was not there for 30mins before she said that line to them! I recommend a refresher in customer service especially knowing the signage posted states 90 minutes, not 30 nor 60 minutes but 90 minutes!

SOMO has a nice brunch for varied tastes and diets. The quality of the food was excellent, the food made from fresh ingredients and prepared with attention. The service was excellent; everyone was kind. My only complaint was that it was very noisy. It would be simple to fix that, so I think the noisiness is on purpose--not my favorite thing.

The service was friendly and prompt and the two dishes we got were good. The place is pretty and the atmosphere is good. The brunch menu, however, could be a little bit more creative. There were a lot of the same ingredients in multiple dishes. For example, if you're not into chorizo, multiple dishes that could have been good are not really options.

Several servers, who were not our server, had to come up to our table and let us know they would look for our waitress because she hadn’t come up to our table and we had been there for 20mins. Our appetizer was the warm burrata it arrived cold and the pita chips tasted like fish which was very odd. The only good dish we ordered was the shrimp scampi which was delicious. They had a live DJ on a Monday night which was a fun surprise but very loud.

Had a reservation for 10am, restaurant got very busy at about 11:15 at which time the manager came to our table and said we needed to leave because there were additional reservations waiting to be seated. The food wasn’t the best, the drinks came out really slow and being asked to leave after less than 90 minutes was just plain rude. If you eat fast and don’t mind sub-par bar food, this is the place for you!

Had a reservation for dining room yet placed in a back room behind kitchen that was basically outside. Food ordered was poor, short rib with sautéed broccoli rabe ended up being steamed broccoli without anything stated and fries on another entree were way under cooked/fried. Meant to be a night with friends and instead was a very subpar experience.

Always a great experience as far as service and food but it’s sooooo loud. I’m wondering if there’s not something that could be done with flooring/ceiling etc to dampen the noise. It won’t keep me away. But it’s tough to hear each other without yelling.

So we were a party of 4 and we we’re celebrating birthdays for 2 of us. I must say this place was far above my expectations. Everything was smooth easy and classy from checking to leaving. Now let’s talk about the view!!!!! The view is breathtaking with NYC skyline and Empire State Building. Highly recommended for celebrations, date night and anniversaries!!! We dined in the outside igloo and let me tell you the experience is AMAZING!! The igloos have a controlled heater, fire place, comfortable seating with pillows blankets and even an Alexa to play your favorite music jams. So what are you waiting for??? Book Somewhere Nowhere you won’t regret it
