   We were really looking forward to trying Somo for the first time and had looked at their menu ahead to time. We wanted to try their meatballs and Brie apps but due to the Art Festival, they had a limited menu. It would of been really nice to of known this prior but we made the most of it and ordered from the limited menu. When we first got there, they sat us in the main dining area. We were there for at least 10 minutes with no acknowledgement from anyone so we decided to sit at the bar. They weren’t even busy at all but the bartenders certainly made us feel very welcome and gave us excellent service. Definitely want to try it again hoping to get the full menu experience.

   Dined indoors on a 90 degree day. There was no a/c and no ceiling fans, so it was a bit warm inside. Overall good dining experience though!

   We tried calling for two days prior to our reservation to add two additional people to our reservation. Nobody answered the phone, for two days. So, we showed up, as planned at 11:30 am and we’re told by the man at the host stand that they would not accommodate us and that the reason they didn’t answer the phone is “because they were busy”. He was extremely rude and dismissive. We will never dine there in the future.

    This is our second visit to this location. Sat outside in a "greenhouse". It was just right for 5 average sized adults. The food was excellent, Not a long wait for the appetizers and the main dishes came out a the right time. Our sever Ivy was awesome.

    Somo was great! Service was excellent, food was great, except the shrimp and grits (they need to work on that). The prices are fair and the place is beautiful.

    Appreciated that we could sit outdoors, but the seating was really tight. When I say that it was cramped I mean it was a significant struggle to get three people seated. Once your in your seat you don’t want to get up until it’s time to go. Our appetizers of loaded fries and wings were DELICIOUS, but main course was lacking flavor. May have been just turned off when I found myself choking on a hair that was cooked into my side of fries.

    The hostess is very rude and has a terrible attitude. We had a large party of 12 and due to not being able to reach anyone by phone when calling the restaurant we booked to reservations for 6 people each within 15 mins of each other. We arrived 1 hour before the reservation time to ask to have the 2 tables relatively close because it was one group and she was instantly nasty from start to finish. She didn’t try to understand at all and was very dismissive and condescending about the whole thing. We ended up having a smaller party of only 8 people which we made work with our waitress, who was extremely helpful and sweet. Her service was great while the food was mediocre at best. The shrimp and grits were under cooked and too salty, felt like instant high blood pressure approaching. Online states they offer bottomless mimosas which was not the case. Overall a basic mediocre Experience however I would not return simply because of the hostess.

    This place is really cute. Definitely a brunch atmosphere, but could use some work. The drinks- (specifically the bottomless mimosas) were subpar. My friend enjoyed his Frosé and the coffee martini drink was also good. The food- was underwhelming. I had the Huevos Rancheros which was not my favorite by far. The shrimp and grits were really good (but some people in my party did not prefer that it had a red based sauce). The dish reminded me of shrimp Diablo on top of grits. One of my friends said the burger was really good. The service- our server was good (Mike). The food took a little bit longer to come to the table but the drinks came out rather quickly. Overall- cute place with potential.

    My girlfriend and I reserved outside seating on a nice day. When we arrived all but one booth was taken and only three sidewalk table were available. I asked the host about sitting in the last open booth and she said you needed 4 people to sit. I understood and sat. 20 minutes later she sat a couple in the booth I requested. I asked her about her 4 person policy and she proceeded to tell me they HAD reserved for a larger party but the others were not coming 🤔. I pointed out that she knew that before sitting them and still allowed 2 people to be sat. The couple in fact did not reserve the booth at all let alone for multiple people. I spoke with the manager who gave an excuse of her having "personal problems" as a possible reason for her behaviors. He offered my friend and I desserts that we could take to go but when the waiter came to get our order she informed us she was instructed to only comp one. I have been to Somo more than once and have had several off-putting interactions with staff, but this took the cake.

    It was amazing food, but the noise level was very high. I could barely hear my waitress speak. Best bet is to sit outside; however the lady in front of us reserved outside seating (greenhouse seating) but the host had said that it’s STILL not guaranteed. Outdoor seating isn’t guaranteed even with a reservation. The host had a nasty attitude. I probably won’t visit again. Great food but the mimosa barely had OJ in it, it was really light colored (straight champagne) and I had to order extra which I was charged for. 😒

    Nice restaurant with a good variety of food on offer. What was peculiar though was that they served Prosecco on draft which was abysmal. We ordered a Mimosa and it was flat and unimpressive. You can buy a decent bottle of Prosecco for $10, surely its worth the investment if you are going to sell mimosas for $12 a glass or a pitcher for $37? Massive fail on that front.

    Great for brunch. Not a huge menu but the dishes they do have are great we both got the huevos rancheros. their cocktails are amazing as well. I would make sure to make a reservation online as they do get very busy for brunch on the weekends

    It was my daughter’s graduation day which I had a reservation for! My son and grandson decided to join us which added 1 and 1/2 people! The hostess seemed very overwhelmed which caused her to have an attitude with me because I added to the reservation! Due to that we had to wait an additional 40 minutes with a toddler at which time she put us outside in 97 degree weather. We had just sat outside at a graduation for 4 hours! Needless to say I was not happy at all, the food was very good and our waitress was ok she seemed overwhelmed as well!

    Expected a bit more for the price. Poached eggs were over cooked - bagels were strangely sweet and prices were too high for the quality of food. Good coffee and staff was very friendly.
