   The waitress we had was delightful, however upon arrival, we had a reservation and were told they wouldn’t be able to honor it as they had taken a walk in prior to us that was for a party of 7. We were sat near the kitchen in a table that you could barely eat from because it’s meant for drinks, and the hosts was careless towards the fact that their mistake costs us our Mother’s Day experience. Thankfully our waitress was great and made up for some of the rudeness we dealt with even though we had a reservation.

   The service was very slow and the food was luke warm. We were seated at a very low table that my kids were not even able to reach, and it took a while for them to agree to move us. We had high hopes for this restaurant and felt let down. Our experience was over an hour and a half and there were just a handful of tables in the restaurant when we arrived.

   I took my wife here for Mother’s Day brunch and it was fantastic ! The service , the food and the atmosphere was great ! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for amazing food ! We’re looking forward to coming back !

   Our server was amazing, super accommodating for how busy they were. The appetizers were promising, very good but the meals were meh. Fajitas came out on a plate and somewhat cold. No lettuce, tomato or sour cream was served with them. The drinks were extremely disappointing, to have Margarita in the name of the restaurant but then have mediocre (at best) margaritas… they were served in regular glasses not margarita glasses which I could have got past but my first margarita came without salt on the rim and my second without a lime. Side eye.

    I love Solita but I was disappointed with their Cinco de Mayo event. The live music was great but the limited menu, not so much. If you’re thinking about saving a couple dollars going for the margarita pitcher… don’t. The single glasses are a lot better and not so watered down plus they come with fresh watermelon slices. I will be back but not for Cinco de Mayo.

    The service was slow with the manager behind the bar. She later came over and threw the waitress under the bus. Which we knew was BS. Not cool at all. The 2 times I've been there, they have been understaffed. If you're going to be a restaurant in the midst of numerous evening venues, you need better planning.

    Our server Gabby was awesome! Super friendly and welcoming. Kitchen messed up my meal, but they remade as quickly as they could. Will definitely eat there again soon.

    Everything was perfect, from the greeting at the hostess stand to the service and the food. The live music was quite nice, not too loud. We ate at a coffee table area, which was a little problematic, but we worked through it. Overall, excellent restaurant and we will definitely be back.

    We waited 30 minutes to get our table and they seemed slow to react to clean the table and seat us. Once seated our when we told our waiter about our wait and that we had theatre tickets he did a great job of expediting our food and drink orders. He was wonderful. The food was excellent and everyone enjoyed their meal. The beginning almost ruined it but fortunately the waiter and our food turned the evening around

    The service started really slowly. They looked to be understaffed. Our waiter was scrambling to do his best with the number of tables he had. Either he was very new at waiting tables or he hasn’t figured out how to be efficient at it. He was fine but a bit overwhelmed. The bartenders noticed that we were sitting for a while with no drinks and then with empty glasses at times and gave over to help. The food was very good. Excellent flavor and well prepared. I had the Carnitas tacos and another had the shrimp tacos. Both were excellent. If your downtown I’d recommend trying this place out.

    I was very dissapointed! I was there with friends for my bachelorette night. I was really looking forward to the food. My fajitas came out but it took a good minute before I got my tortillas and rice so by that time my fajitas were completely cold. I made the waiter aware of this and the fact that I didn’t even take but two bites of my plate and I still had to pay full price for my plate. I don’t mind paying prices for food if it’s worth it but this was not!

    Not the quality that I expected. Left a little disappointed in the food quality. The shrimp appetizer was my main reason for returning but I wasn’t impressed at all. Most of the shrimp were mushy and salty.

    This was our first time trying Solita and we loved it. Plenty of options and everything tastes great. I just wish the tortilla chips were homemade. It’s the first thing you try when you sit down and they are obviously from a bag. Otherwise, the portions were perfect and plenty of good flavors and spice. We had the corn which is a must-try, ceviche, chicken verde, combo fajitas, and the pepper.

    Came here for the first time on a Friday night after a long work week. I’d like to start with the positives. The margaritas are great. We got two pitchers of Cadillac margaritas to share as a table of 4 and had a great time. The flavor of the food is great. We had two people in our parties with food allergies. Upon placing our order we asked to skip the item, as it’s an allergy, it was repeated back to us for confirmation, and then still showed up on the food. The food was taken back and took another 15 minutes for the replacement food to be fired up. That was disappointing. In addition to that, the noise level was insane for half capacity. They had live music and the man playing was way too loud for the ambiance and vibe that the rest of the restaurant had. You could tell the tables, not Just ours were all struggling to hold conversations. It just seemed unnecessary and borderline inappropriate for a Mexican restaurant to have soft rock covers playing too loudly. Would be open to giving another try eventually.

    This was our 4th time to the restaurant and was surprised at the poor service. Our order was placed incorrectly, our waitress never took our drink orders until almost 20 minutes after going to front hostess. Then drinks came out wrong and took another 20 minutes

    Second time to this newer restaurant. They are struggling with basic restaurant needs - slow drinks to the table, waiters that disappear and on this visit 20 minutes to get the check. Food is very good but if service does not improve, it’s going to be tough to survive downtown. We were 0 for 2 and won’t be back.

    I would definitely recommend this establishment! I found that reserving a table for our lunch hour helped so much! I also requested a birthday desert for my sister & didn’t have to mention it at all while there. They were on point with everything and my server was great!
