We had a reservation, and when we arrived(two of us) we were seated at the table right beside the washrooms, which we were not happy about, considering there were tons of other empty tables . I went to find the fellow that showed us to our table and asked to choose another table, and he was fine with that. However, we waited 20 minutes for someone to approach us to take our order even for just drinks . once they got their act together, and decided who was going to take our table things move very quickly from there, and the food was great with the exception of my steak. It was supposed to be medium rare, and it was served medium , I did mention it to them, but I didn’t want them to take it back to redo it, so I just ate it like that . my husband got the chicken club and he did not like it because it was saturated with mayonnaise, so he wound up having part of my steak ! Also, it was so dark in the restaurant. It was very hard to read the menu and I needed to use my flashlight on my phone for better viewing .

It was a Monday night so the place was quiet, perfect to grab a bite and a cold one before heading to the Raptors game, given its great location. The food was good, and the service was on point. Definitely planning to drop by again.

We had nachos with beef and we only maybe got two tablespoons of meet for a extra 5 dollars. The cheese used was from a can. It was so hot in the restaurant. Not a nice experience at all.

Great spot to go to before the game or to watch the game. Food is pretty good (remember its a sports bar), service & wait staff are very friendly - tip well they do a good job. Will be back again.

Waitress gave promp service and was engaged. Pork ribs were tasteless with a quick brush of bbq sauce. Butter milk chicken fingers were a hit and came with your choice of dipping sauce. Price was fair for that kind of establishment. Lots of TV screens to view and noise level was moderate. Lots of different seating arrangements, high tops, round table and chairs and booths. Ice cold beer.

Our server was very attentive and friendly. The food was delicious and a big portion. We originally booked Real Sports Bar but decided to cancel that at go to SJ instead! We will definitely be back!

Great dinner & service by Levi! He was simply fantastic. He was genuine in his service & very prompt/attentive to our dining needs. He checked on us throughout the evening & never had is looking or wanting anything. He was excellent. The food was great too. I had the chicken cordon blue & my wife had the salmon bowl. My watermelon mojito was perfect & so was the moscato my wife loved. The desserts were also divine. We booked reservations earlier & requested seating in the back with the big screen TV to watch my Argonauts/CFL game vs HAM. They accommodated us very well & even put up the volume to hear the game-which I need/love! Big Thanks to the MOD. My only bone of contention was that the Resto music volume was somewhat loud for the amount of limited diners in the restaurant. Otherwise everything else was amazing! 💯 Thank you again Levi!

Our server who indicated she was a supervisor, was rude and did not act in a manner consistent with a supervisor. When pop was knocked over by her, she made a minor attempt to clean it up. She blamed me for the incident and I was left to clean up. She left the pop on the floor so it was wet and sticky and slippery. She refused to serve our guests when we were running a few minutes behind with anything other than water. She talked over us and was condescending and kept referring to herself as a supervisor. I am management for a financial institution and I know her behaviour was not at all indicative of a supervisor.

Wings should not be sold as the best , they are aunt best par for the course. Need to be bigger and served with more veggies. Beer is cold and the service was good, not over powering . But they weee there when you needed them.

One thing that I thought was kind of odd is that someone had thrown up all over the floor and into the sink in the washroom. I mentioned it to a young guy in the kitchen there and he kind of just shrugged his shoulders. Later my husband went into the washroom and it still had not been cleaned up.

I recently visited Shoeless Joe's - Esplanade and had an amazing experience. The atmosphere was lively and energetic, with plenty of TVs to watch all the latest sports games. On Leafs game night, don't change the TVs mid-way through the game and don't play loud music over the game. This is a Sports bar not a nightclub.

The only reason we went to this restaurant was because of their happy hour deals. When we got there, the staff told us they are not honouring the advertised prices for happy hour because of inflation. We were then told that we would be paying full price instead of the advertised price. When the legality of this was put into question, they offered to honour the drink prices but not the food prices. Left a sour taste and bad first impression, I don't think we'll go back. Especially with plenty of other great establishments in the area.

Courteous friendly service. We had fish and chips and chicken cordon blue. Very tasty. Good beer. The large beer could have been topped up a bit more, but not bad. Great sports screens. Good place to hang out at prior to sports events, concerts, etc. Good place to wind down after events. Downtown prices -- yes, but not too crazy. Great folks. I'd visit Shoeless Joe's (SJs) on The Esplanade again . . . and probably again. Best to make a reservation around predictable busy hours, before Leafs games and popular concerts. Very nice. All was good but the service staff was the best. dcb

One meal was forgotten. When it came it was entirely wrong but we needed to get to the game so we just ate it. Service was slow for a night that wasn't busy. Food tasted good.
