    Such an amazing experience, could not recommend it enough. The food was amazing, we had the 4 course meal and not only it was delicious, it was plenty! The service was impeccable so we will definitely go back!

    The food presentation is exceptional, I liked the foie gras from the first course, which literally melted in my mouth. The fish dishes seemed salty to me, but the desserts were excellent. Review the menu in advance to make a choice to your taste.

    Dining at Sepia was an amazing experience! The service was impeccable, but approachable and friendly, and the food was incredible. I loved that while it's a tasting menu, you have options for each course to choose, so my husband and I were able to select different options and try more. And everything was amazing. Our server was lovely and charming, and everyone was super attentive. Yes, it's not cheap, but it's worth every single cent. Just go. You won't regret it.

    The restaurant was good, although I'm not entirely certain if it has been awarded a Michelin star. The presentation of the food was impressive, but unfortunately, it didn't quite live up to expectations in terms of taste. Additionally, there were some bones in the fish, which was a bit disappointing. The noise level in the restaurant was quite high and difficult to ignore. However, it must be noted that the servers were exceptional.

    Food was very good, however way too much salt in everything....this is the only reason I am not rating it as "excellent". Service was outstanding. I disliked the fact the restaurant did not offer valet parking, the website quotes "covid restrictions" which at this point looks like a bad excuse...

    We have been going to Sepia for a couple years. The prix fix option is great for all. We did four course plus two additional whole table courses. Kim, our waitress, is a rock star. She knows the menu backwards and forwards to help guide you through the ample flavors of each dish. The cocktails? Next level. I look forward to going back for my birthday coming up in spring. It’s worth the money if you want to try next level food.

    The wait staff at this restaurant is incredible and kind. The service was also very timely which made it that much more enjoyable. In between each course, you don’t have to wait long to receive your next plate. The food was the best I’ve had! I would highly recommend this experience.

    We had the best server, who was amazingly kind and knowledgeable about everything!! She made the menu easy to understand. The food was amazing and everything was so balanced and the flavors never over powered each other. The wine pairing is a must. If you get a chance you need to go there and experience everything.

    I took my boyfriend here for his 27th birthday. They started us off with some rye bread with butter and an amazing prosciutto appetizer. We did the wine pairing with our 4 course meal and it took the experience to a whole new level! I was also able to find a new red wine that I really enjoy! The staff was so kind and hard working! The food it’s self was outstanding! I didn’t get pictures of all of the courses but I did manage to capture a couple! The plating was beautiful and you can tell that the chefs really know what they are doing. They put so much love into each dish prepared! I also loved the fact that they asked if we had any allergies or dietary restrictions!! Thank you so much for a great experience! We definitely will be back!

    Compared to other Michelin star restaurants, and other outstanding Chicago restaurants, Sepia fell flat. The food was good , service average , but the dessert was a fail. The banana crepe had absolutely no banana taste. Another maple dessert was just off, and wasn’t appetizing. Never got a warm vibe from staff either. Doubt I’ll recommend.

    Enjoyed a wonderful 4 course prix fix menu. All the flavors were wonderful and appreciated the variety to choose from. The wait staff were great and always attentive. Will definitely be coming back.

    My favorite restaurant in Chicago now. Gwen was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful to every course that was served. Her and the rest of the staff made our anniversary dinner something we will never forget.

    Valentines Day Experience Amazing 6 course experience. Snacks at the beginner were our favorite. But everything was amazing. I noticed when giving recommendations, our server always gave a safe choice and a unique choice. Kind of influenced my choices. But everything was still great.

    Not sure how this is a Micheline restaurant. We were about to order and our waitress said she’d give us another minute. Well she didn’t come back till 30min later. Unacceptable. We were about to leave. Wish we had. Food was not impressive.

    We really enjoyed the current tasting menu--perfect for balancing a nice night out for a vegetarian married to a carnivore. The respective wine pairings were excellent (the Rioja was amazing). We've been to Sepia many times so the expectation is high. I have to say the extra cheese course was out of this world--talk about a surprise and a delight! It's much more of an extra course with phenomenal flavors and a truly beautiful and unique presentation vs. what one thinks of as a cheese course (hint go for the extra wine pairing for this course as well). I'm still thinking about it a day later. Great job all around!

    Great food. Great atmosphere. Great service. We enjoyed our evening. This was an expensive night for us as we don’t usually spend this kind of money on dinner but we loved and savored every single moment of it.
