   The food was good. The server was lacking. Water glasses ran empty. Asked for bread and it never showed up. Asked for a spoon to help with eating the spaghetti noodles that came with my eggplant Parmesan and the spoon never showed up. Noisy even though there were a few empty tables.

   It was uncomfortably hot in the restaurant. I realize it was busy but they could have lowered the AC we were sweating and other people were fanning themselves.

   We had a reservation at 7:30 pm and we were not seated until 8:40 pm. We had a drink at the bar and the bartender basically ignored us until I raised my voice for help. The service after we sat was very slow and the food was below average. We have been there several times before and have always had a great experience. It was so bad this time we will not make the trip back.

   First and last time we will go. This restaurant is horribly mismanaged. The staff has only been trained on how to lie to the patrons. WITH a reservation, still had to wait for over an hour for our table to be ready. Running with 4 hostesses, whom were completely disorganized and would lie to every customer that asked about when their table would be ready. Favoritism was also in play as I watched people being seated before others that had obviously been waiting longer. We were also affected, as a table for 4 was seated before us that had a later reservation and came in after us. When I confronted the hostess to explain, was told they were prioritizing based off number of people in the party. We were a party of 3 and they were 4, not much of a difference since we were seated at a table that could fit 4 people. Thought after that kind of wait, the food would be superb. Was highly disappointed. Fried calamari was soggy and gummy. Our dishes of pasta were not the best either. Even my 10 year old daughter ordered a pepperoni pizza, that came out more like a cheese pizza with a touch of pepperonis on the outside crust. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

   So this was my second time here, the first time was awesome the second time not at all. And the manager is who made the experience SOOO BAD. She sat us at our table and told us SHE WOULD BE BACK TO TAKE OUR ORDER. No one came back to take to our order for 25 minutes. Then when the other service noticed and said something the manager came back to our table and tried passing the buck off of the same server who saw us setting for so long. When check out time came we had to go up front because our server never came back to bring our ticket. Then the manager proceeded to check us out. We advised her that we thought deserved a discount on the bill and she discounted the CHEAPEST THING ON THE BILL. That is unprofessional. Due to the inconvenience she should have discounted an entree not a dessert. I bought a family member here on my second visit because I was impressed after the first time but after that we won’t be returning unless we receive a call or even some free meals due to inconvenience.

   Waited 2 hours for food. Seafood was great everything else was really weak or not good. Should be around 12$ plate cause of quality. I would of rather went to olive garden hands down. So many real good Italian restaurants out there and this isn't one of them.

   The restaurant was extremely busy, standing room only. It was also very loud inside. The wait staff handled the volume of business very well. We had a party of 6 and our food all came out at the same time, was hit and tasted great.

   Not a bad spot, but for the prices we paid, you’re better off at Carrabba’s or even OG (and pay less). Sorry, the food just isn’t good. It’s okay, at best. Really wanted this place to be good… it just wasn’t.

    Went for an early mother's day. The food was ok, not the greatest. I would expect fettuccine alfredo to include parm in it, but it just tasted like cream The plates that they serve food on needs to be adjusted, they should be larger if pasta is included, as food kept sliding off the plate. Not everyone at the table was offered parm cheese or black pepper. Our beverages were always refilled quickly, which is a huge plus in my book!

    Had a party of 11 to celebrate my daughter's first communion. The staff was very nice and provided great service. The food was excellent and the whole experience was great. Will be returning.

    Scuzzi’s offered a fixed menu for Easter that was well prepared & delicious!! My husband & I selected the tenderloin, salad & dessert. Tiramisu for me, cheese cake for him. Everything was prepared exactly as we ordered: rare for him, medium rare for me with a delicious mushroom sauce and side.

    As always, a wide assortment of dishes all well-prepared. Noisier than usual due to three large parties that spanned the width of the restaurant between the booths. Hats off to the waitstaff, ours and those working the parties. You made it calm and relaxing for everyone.

    Disappointing. Overall food was mediocre--not bad just not very flavorful. Not a good value for the price. Interior has a definite dark "dungeon" feel. Will not be going back.

    Excellent waitress, one waiter came to table to sing Happy Birthday, manager provided complimentary drinks for the table. Fun birthday experience. Except… dinner reservations are for 7:45, we were delayed and arrived at 8:00pm. When we arrived, the hostess said they are preparing the table for us, however, we were not seated until 9:00pm!! That is with reservations for a birthday celebration! Then about half the alcoholic drinks did not arrive until after the dinner was served, close to 9:45pm! Birthday girls were not offered a side with their entree. We were surprised the entrees did not include sides.

    Let me start by saying the reason my wife chose this place is because the reviews. Last night, 26 Mar 2022, we had dinner reservations for 700pm to celebrate my 49th birthday, the reason it was a such a big deal other than another celebrated is because I have cancer and lived past my expected lifespan, so every birthday is a big deal. Our waiter said would you like to order? We replied yes we can give our whole order appetizers, soup, salads, and, dinner and drinks again. This time he scrambled for scrap of paper in his apron, which was odd. We ordered 2x oysters, cup of soup, two salads, our main courses, and then drinks (2 refills of drinks from the bar) and a iced tea. He had a hard time taking our order having to look at the menu himself. we still hadn't gotten drinks or the appetizers yet, it had been 20 minutes, however we were talking and laughing so time had moved quickly. We started looking around and hadn't seen our waiter again. Other staff members were rushing around in and out of the back past us. Finally, another waiter (not ours) brought us the salads, we asked about the appetizers and drinks, he said "oh I'll ask for you" I was a little put off but ok they are clearly busy. Well the rest of the night was the same, our waiter was hardly present, our food came 30 more minutes later in a confusing way, of main courses first, then oysters which were appitizers and then I had to ask about my soup... and only my tea arrived, no on else got their drinks at dinner. The waiter was clearly overtasked and panicked looking mostly when we saw him. reviews. They were terribly disorganized and overwhelmed, our food was great, however we couldn't get it in order or communicate well with our rushed waiter who was seldom there. My birthday celebration ended up being an extremely slowly and out of order delivered meal with drinks on the side and disappointment delivered completely.

    I had a reservation for 6:30pm and didn’t get seated until 7:15, I understand it was a busy Saturday night but typically a reservation denotes a table ready at the time you booked for. My friends and I ended up two hours late for the event we had afterwards. The food was delicious but not worth the wait.

    Was able to book a table for 7 15 minutes in advance because our original plan failed. This was for a birthday celebration and it turned out perfect! Multiple birthday celebrations going on at the same time so it was a great environment and the food and wine were super tasty! Our server was new and we were ok with that, he was super friendly and attentive.

    Over it was not bad but I was disappointed that I made this reservation for my mother’s birthday and they even called me about wanting to know more… when we get there we got seated quick… they where a few other birthday and they sang for the other birthday not for our table which was disappointing. Like why call and ask me more about it prior… idk if our party size was small and it would have been a small gesture that would have made our experience nicer for them.

    One of the more consistent restaurants in San Antonio. Generally never have to wait too long for a table, but if you do, the food is well worth it. Chicken Picatta and Chicken Florentine are two of the best dishes on the menu. Will be returning soon.

    Fried ravioli was delicious. I had the rainbow trout, and I ate the skin and all (which I never do). The showstopper was the smoked chicken lasagna. Might be the best lasagna I’ve ever had.
