Savona - King of Prussia
Consistent, creative, high quality dining, and seamlessly orchestrated service has been the hallmark of Savona - King of Prussia's success for over 20 years…..
A marble bar, sexy outdoor patio and upstairs wine lounge will set the stage for a spirit of relaxation and conviviality. Executive Chef, Drew Masciangelo continues to employ his "farm to table" approach with a soulful regional Italian menu inspired by his Abruzesse heritage. All selections are prepared with simplicity, consistency and the attention to detail Savona has provided for decades.
So... sit back...relax...swirl a glass of vino from the largest wine cellar in PA and enjoy the new Savona!
Service and ambience were great but the quality of the food was pretty disappointing given how upscale restaurant is. Steak was undercooked and shrimp was extremely salty.
Food is always excellent and prepared to perfection.
We love this spot for lunch or an early dinner after shopping at King of Prussia. Food is reliably delish, wine list is good and cocktails are excellent and fun! Service is also reliably good... easy parking, valet in the evening... something for everyone. There’s even heated outdoor seating in Spring and Fall... love it!
Informed service and excellent food
I have been to Savona several times and the experience is consistently a pleasurable experience in dining. Recommend it highly.
The pasta was tasteless. We go here often. 3 rd time in 3 weeks. Service was just ok. Dover Sole as usual was fabulous.
Still am upset about the service. Worst service I have ever had there.
Was disappointed by the food (very pricey for just a basic meal), we were placed in The mezzanine which looks like an overflow room for non-special guest, and the cleanliness of the restaurant was not up the standard of such “high end” restaurant (just look at the AC inlet over the stairs...).
Friends birthday lunch was lovely. Service was great and the food, as always is outstanding!!
This was one of my top 5 coming in at #2 everything I was looking for..
Good sandwiches and chips.
Food was very good. The space was nice, upscale yet comfortable. Despite how fast our server talked (like an auctioneer), receiving food was very slow.
This is a solid restaurant. The service is excellent and the food/drink is up there.
My only complaint would be with the nasty hostess. Her rudeness was very cliche and unwelcoming. Everyone else was great including our server and all the assistants.
I will visit again but hope for a more professional hostess.
Our waitress Clare was a dream. Food was excellent. Great place to celebrate our anniversary
Our waiter was absolutely fabulous as was the food - thank goodness because the hostess was so incredibly rude to our party that it was a tough start to the night.
Great Service and Great Meal
Service was excellent -- prompt and courteous. Food was delicious. Cost was a little pricey. Would recommend for lunch with a colleague or dinner with a friend.
Awesome food! Awesome staff!
We were in a rush for a meeting (such a shame because I would have liked to take my time with the experience). The hostess not only accommodated our "rush" request but my 1/2 portion request for my meal. Will take my time on the next go around,
This was my first time at your restaurant. It was wonderful, from the food to the service. Unfortunately due to time restraint was not able to have dessert Hoping to get a chance to come back and do so.
Perfect for business meal. Staff aware of discussions and timed questions appropriately. Excellent service. Wonderful menu and amazing wine selection
Great esp hostess Christine
Delicious food and terrific service. You did not disappoint, Savona!
Some of my friends love Savona but I have eaten there 3 - 4 times over the last 10 years or so and have never been impressed. Today was no different. I got the Eggplant Napoletana. It looked very nice and I did appreciate the fact that the layers of eggplant were nice and thin and while it was fairly good I was unable to eat the bottom layer or 2 as well as one end as they were burnt. We also ordered the Golden Fried Artichokes which had a decent flavor but were greasy. My wife’s BLT was tasty but the ratio of BLT to bread was way off. I think next time someone wants to meet me a Savona, I’ll pass.
The food at Savona was delicious. My sole was the best dish at the table. The servers and other staff were friendly and informative. They were not however, very attentive. Perhaps they were super busy but it was a long time between seeing our server. Our beer was warm and we needed a glass of ice cubes for them. When it was brought to the server's attention they replied they were sorty about that. Our water kept running out. A number of folks came to our table to check in and wish us bon appetite but no one thought to keep the water glasses filled and we had to ask for them to be replenished.
Suggested by friend for me to treat them and one more to dinner. Friday night and noise level very high. Some sound suppression treatment would help. At suggestion of server all three of us ordered Dover Sole.
Very disappointed. Not fresh, very little taste and served with heavy souse. Dinner with medium priced bottle of wine($58) with tip was $360. Not a very good value!
This is a Gem
My boyfriend and I hadn’t been to Savona in some time so we decided to deviate from our normal haunts and made a reservation at Savona. Upon arriving they were ready to seat us promptly and we asked if we could have a drink at the bar first and the host said that was fine. The bartender, Talia, was such a delight we opted to sit at the bar for dinner. Service and food was outstanding- we will be back soon!
Food was good. Service was awful. Waited 20 minutes for drinks and had to seek out a manager (And witnessed an argument in the kitchen) who apologized but offered nothing. Waitress was non-existent. Don’t go here for a special occasion (it was my wife’s b-day).
Wonderful Sunday brunch! This is our new favorite spot and will try dinner next time.
Restaurant was on point in every way! Service and food were outstanding!!
The food was not all outstanding. The appetizer was excellent, the pasta regular (not al dente as in Italy). Desert ordinary. Mostly noise second floor makes the experience not that relaxing.
Super yummy tasting food. We loved the Margherita pizza! The entrees are delicious and good-sized portions. Restaurant has a cool vibe and amazing outdoor eating areas!!
Family Weekend at Villanova! We had a wonderful first evening dining at Savona!
Trrrible service. Food not nearly as good as I remember it a month or so ago. Yikes!
Food was excellent and our server Sebastian was great.
Savona has been one of my favorite restaurants for many years. The Dover sole is consistently outstanding, the veal Milanese is prepared to perfection, etc.... whatever they prepare, they execute very well. Service is always on point and the bar area is delightful. I have never experienced a noisy moment at this venue, even while crowded!
Menu has been reduced to too few choices. Upstairs dining smells from cooking fumes. Will not be returning so soon.
