I understand there are staffing issues everywhere. Our food took a long time and it wasn’t very busy. Some food came out way after others did. The steak didn’t have much flavor. Some food was really hot, some was just warm. The server was great and very attentive.

All of our food was cold or just slightly warm. My husband’s gumbo tasted so bad he didn’t eat very much of it. The waitresses were very nice but there were only 2 for the whole place and they were both waiting on everyone instead of splitting the tables up between them. They were very overworked and it made service very slow. Overall I would NOT recommend this place.

Our server Daniel, was on it. There when we needed him. We started with the steak bruschetta. The balsamic was delish. Two in our party had the HUGE Smokehouse burger, both cooked to desired doneness. And both remarked how good the fries were. I recommend the Jambalaya. Blended with shrimp and Andouille and properly spiced with just the right amount of heat. Happy to learn Satchmo's takes reservations through Open Table. Thanks!

Only one waitress available for the entire restaurant! It was very cold. Asked the server to turn up heat. Finally asked the manager and he did finally did. THE worst part was it took an hour and 15 minutes to get our food and it was luke warm. Bad experience.

Great food and outstanding service. We went on a night when there was a band who were excellent. My roast beef sandwich was fantastic and the burger my wife had was very very good. Great little place with good ambiance.

Went for Wednesday Steak night. Madeline was great with service. Steak and potato was just lukewarm when served, unfortunately. Tasted okay but would have been better is warmer. Other guest had the spices chicken wrap which was very good.

The food, our server, and the ambiance were all great! This will be my new go-to for delish, unusual dishes that you won’t find at many other places. The selection of drinks and food were plentiful and varied. Overall a great experience for an after Christmas celebration!

The table was reserved for us, in the section we asked for. The server was very personable, but the specialty drink, “bee‘s knees” was awful. At least 3 other people who ordered it said the same thing—it tasted like straight lemon juice. Service was slow. We ordered the brick sandwich & the fish & chips—both were way over cooked, dry & tasteless. We used to come here a lot under previous ownership & the food was great—but it has really gone downhill. The dessert donuts were decent, but don’t bother with the gooey butter cake. We left much earlier than we planned to, b/c we were being crowded out by the “standing room” people. All in all, not a good experience.

After Thanksgiving outing with friends. Went early since we were going to a concert. So not a lot of people in the bar restaurant. Server was new but very friendly and attentive. Food was surprisingly good. Not normal bar fare. Downside was the whole restaurant smelled of old grease. So maybe they are not on top of that. The server did mention a new cook recently. Only mentioning this because it matters in the longevity of a good place to eat. I definitely would go back and try again!

The food wasn’t near as good as the menu made it sound. Pizza had too much sauce. The guacamole on the shrimp tacos was not tasty. The shrimp were not seasoned & flour tortillas would have held up better than the corn tortillas. The beer was good!

Our server was very professional and friendly. The food was just okay for us, but it was exactly as described on the menu. We sat outside, but the music was uncomfortably loud. I think we're not their demographic, and there was a steady stream of both pickup and in-person diners, so it is what it is.

Watching the game on TV was the best part. T Rav Lobster and Turkey melt was good. Monster BLT bread was burnt and was missing ingredients. Buffalo Chicken wrap tasted fine but was not wrapped properly and fall put immediately. Service was a little slow. Band played later and was not good. We love trying new places every weekend - I would probably not go back to this place.

Wasn’t very impressed with Satchmos. Took a long time for us to get our food and most of it was cold. One of our party ordered the special and didn’t get it until we were leaving. They took it off the bill but we got there at 5:30 and one would think they would have had enough special at that time particularly since there were only 3 or 4 other tables at the time. Our waitress, Megan, was wonderful though. She was very apologetic and was very attentive to our needs. Apparently the kitchen was short staffed. The person that made the arrangements didn’t realize this was a sports bar so it was extremely noisy by the time we left so the noise level part was our fault.

They only had one waiter, on bus person and one bartender working the front of the house. Food arrived cold...REALLY cold, and frankly, not very good. Fajitas were the special and they contained very little beef and the tortillas were torn. Sent them back and second time they were the same. They took them off the bill. We won't be back.

The restaurant was clean as usual but certainly sufficiently clean enough for COVID protection. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Food was cooked to perfection and very flavorful.
