Santiago's Tapas Whitchurch

It was delicious, really good fun and I would definitely recommend people to go there.

Lovely selection, third time I've been. Great food.

The restaurant staff were very welcoming and accommodating by allowing us to preorder our meal. This was helpful as you are only allocated a 1.5 hour time slot due to COVID restrictions. The food is good and there is a wide choice. Wine was delightful. Good value.

Have eaten at Santiago’s before and love the food there. Staff are very friendly and it is very good value. We will definitely return soon

Substantial variety of yummy choices on the menu to choose from. All choices made by us were delicious.

We were told we had run out of time re the table, service had been slow. We wanted to have churros. The table was only for one and a half hour but that too short when service slow. Restaurant was busy. The end of the meal was disappointing therefore. Could we have table for longer u were over booked we feel. But it's a lovely restaurant and staff really nice..

An authentic Spanish dining experience. Having lived in Spain for many years previously I felt as though I was transported back. The food was perfect and exactly like that served in the fabulous little tapas bars in Andalucia

Lovely food, and good portion sizes for tapas. Excellent service too. The only thing I could criticize is that it was rather cold: my friend had to put her coat back on!

Had a great meal at Santiago's! Really nice local tapas restaurant. All the dishes were delicious, especially the dates wrapped in bacon (underdog dish) and the estafado stew. The only dish that wasn't great was the octopus. It was very loud in the restaurant so it made it a bit hard to chat, but it was generally a great meal. Would go again.

Could add a few more items to the lunch menu deal- however would recommend and will be going back

Good service, excellent food, Ideally located for us to visit as we are local to the area and we will definitely visit again.

Unfortunately the night was ruined by an altercation between two sets of tables which ended up with one drunk and aggressive woman throwing a glass of wine over the guests on the other table. Half of the content of the wine went over me and my 14 year old daughter. We had booked a table to celebrate my wife’s 50th birthday. I got my daughter out as quickly as possible in case they decided to throw glasses.

It was very busy and generally loud at the restaurant and the tables seemed close together.

I have had a better time there.

Great buzzy atmosphere. Very friendly attentive staff. They followed COVID guidance to the letter which was very reassuring.
We went as a family of four and had a great time. the food was excellent as always. Highly recommend the fish goujons and the calamari. I look forward to going again soon.

It was fantastic. A bit too loud sometimes but great service and food.

Extremely surprised as no screens up and social distancing didn’t seem a priory as tables were close together tables either side were being used and when seated not far from Other diners. Food was exceptional but service very poor.

We visited Santiago's for the first time and absolutely loved it! The staff were friendly and service was brilliant and fast. The food was fresh and delicious - every dish we tried we loved. Also felt very covid safe. Not a cheap meal but well worth it for a treat or special occasion. We will definitely be back.

I love this place, the Tapas are authentic and good portion sizes, the wine list is great. The service is always brilliant and I cannot find fault.
I hope after the lockdown eases they are able to remain open and serve the local village of Whitchurch, as its somewhere I will support and eat regularly when possible!

The food was amazing. We chose five tapas between two of us. This was plenty and a good variety. The staff were very attentive and complied with all the Covid regulations. Hygiene was of a high standard. Will return when allowed.

Made a reservation which I had to put back by 30 minutes and was easily accommodated. Lovely food and nice wine. Good, attentive services and good value. Would definitely recommend to my friends.

Beautiful authentic tapas served in a lovely restaurant. The staff were so helpful and friendly. It was a wonderful lunch out with my daughter and I would definitely go again.

Had a lovely evening and lovely food . The only thing I had to complain about was a long dark hair in my food (I am blonde ) and I ordered a lemonade with my desert and never received it so they took it off bill .

Only the second time we've been but the Tapas are delightful. Highly recommended.

All food and service were very good, only slight issue was we had to ask for garlic mayo to go with tempura squid. I would have thought it would automatically come with some sort of dip.

Lovely food and drink, reasonably priced. Highly recommended.
