   Sammy’s is one of my favorite restaurants. Food is excellent and of good value. This time service was spotty. Not sure if they had call-outs as the servers were kept quite busy. Had to ask a few times for some needs, but when the servers could respond, they were always friendly and provided what was needed. I will not hesitate to return, as the experience is usually excellent.

   The food was delish! Wine options were great too. However it does have more of a sports bar feel than anticipated. A lot of the servers were watching the Os game on the bar screens. (Had to flag down our server a couple of times). If you’re wanting a sports bar scene but want pasta instead of wings than this is your place for sure. If you’re wanting a nice Italian dinner out, find somewhere else.

   Wonderful Mother’s Day dinner. Our server was awesome and we all enjoyed our meal. We had a party of 10 and had a very reasonable wait time considering it was a busy holiday.

   we went to celebrate Mother's Day with out Mom, it was our first time dining here and we were very impressed with the food, service, atmosphere and environment's energy, will definitely be dining there again.

   College kid portions of the usual Italian offerings. This is not fine Italian dining. Really fair prices for what is served- but underseasoned, likely canned ingredients and a timid flavor profile.

    I’ve been here twice and have had a great experience both times. The cocktails are great and the bread/oil they give as a starter is delicious. Do yourself a favor and order the crab toast as an app.

    ASK FOR TIANA! Picture a table of six people who have not seen each other in months, talking over each other and TIANA deftly and expertly listening, memorizing orders, refilling drinks, serving piping hot dishes, smiling the entire time as she handled the lunchtime dining room of other tables. The food is first-rate and we ate everything from meatballs to pizza to salads to pasta and a duck ravioli that is just dreamy. BUT, we will return for Tiana as she made the experience so memorable. Have eaten at Sammy's downtown for years and the family has always made service a priority. Tiana should make Sammy's proud that the tradition continues in Hunt Valley. #TEAMTIANA!

    Midweek lunch was not too busy and we were seated in the dining room away from bar which was great to carry conversation. Food was fresh and delicious and traditional Italian. Have decided this is a great lunch meet up.

    The food and service were outstanding! Unfortunately, we chose a busy Saturday night and we waited just shy of an hour for our entree. While it took a long time, the food was delicious and definitely worth the wait! It was also extremely loud and the ladies room needed major attention. We will definitely return for the food but will choose a different day and/or time for our reservation.

    Had a very pleasant experience. At the bar, Brian served us and was very personable, asked him about a few menu choices, he was very helpful. Steve the matradee was very welcoming and accommodating for our table choice. We are planning on bringing friends back with us next time. Many good menu choices, food presentation was excellent, our waitress was super also.

    The food was surprisingly good for a strip mall place. We were really happy with the homemade pasta and sauces. The servers were very friendly too. The one thing that was a miss and this may sound knit-picky, but the music was a little too mainstream; More traditional Italian, rat-pack, or even 60s, 70s Italian pop music would have given the place real cool vibe. Also… lose the cheese-laden dipping sauce for the bread. It was tasteless.

    The restaurant is welcoming from the hostess stand to the end of the meal. Our server was Sierra and she was wonderful. The food was great and we really enjoyed our meal and our experience.

    Sub par food and service compared to Sammy’s downtown and now shuttered Sammy’s in Fells Point. Usually delicious duck ravioli came submerged in an unappealing oil buried under a dark saturated mound of mushrooms. A Usually beautiful dish inexpertly prepared and served. Sammy’s Hunt Valley should be so much more than it is.

    Absolutely too loud at my dinner hour 6:30 pm. They need an acoustical engineer to help them with control of noise. Any recommendation from me would have to be with the caution of noise level.

    My wife's Veal Parm was excellent. My chicken/crab/with spinach in cream sauce was not good, It was completely covered in the cream sauce which I had to push aside in order to eat the chicken. I misread the menu and thought it would be creamed spinach, I guess my mistake. The bar area was very loud, so we asked for the far end of the back room, which was acceptable. I will try again, but will be more selective with the menu.

    Sammy's Trattoria in Hunt Valley is a delightful place usually, but this time there was a huge party of people. They were apologetic for the excess noise level. Nonetheless, the service and food were uncompromised and excellent as always. It is good to know they can handle a large function well.

    Food was very good, service was very attentive. We did not feel rushed. Ordered apps and drinks and was not hurried to order an entree. Like the slowness of the meal progression. The place is loud and it gets crowded so it was loud. Really nothing you can do about that, we were seated on the bar side not sure if the dinning room side would be any quieter.
