Salt + Marrow Kitchen
There is great potential for this restaurant between ambience and location. However, it was over an hour wait from the time we placed our order until the time we received it. (And one of the meals wasn't correct, but we waited so long to get anything.) Staff was spread very thin. Food was so so. They have been open less than two weeks, so perhaps in time this restaurant will get better and be the place it is meant to be.
Newly opened and not quite ready for prime time yet. We fully expect them to work out the issues. Our server Bernard could not have been nicer. The hotel manager Jeff was super generous. But it was their 8th day and they are learning as they go. We will give it another try soon. It has potential to be a great local eatery but not quite there yet.
Great atmosphere and service. The food was absolutely delicious.
Slow getting food out.
We all adored our server Valerie. She was so positive and informative. We were a large party on a busy day, but our food took too long to be served. We were served bread without bread plates and shrimp and grits without spoons. Just little flukes that need attention. Overall great.
