I’m Vietnamese American and my parents were visiting Chicago and I wanted to find something special to take them out to lunch to! Them being from Hue & Saigon, they definitely have high standards when it comes to Vietnamese cuisine but Saigon Sisters really hit it out of the park. I love it when restaurant can bring these authentic flavors and really curate unique and approachable dishes. We opted for family style and shared the beef pho, Vietnamese ramen, beef pho, green curry, classic banh mi, and grilled baby octopus! It all tasted incredible and I will definitely be back anytime I’m craving Vietnamese food! They seem to rotate dishes out and I’m super excited to come back to see what’s new!

Great food, great service, and warm owners of the establishment. The food has plenty of vegetarian options, and the Banh mi was particularly good. Highly recommend! Also the manager (I think) welcomed us into the restaurant and was very friendly. Hidden jem with a good ambiance off the beaten path.

We are visiting from Brooklyn and wanted to try some West Loop restaurants. This was great. Super unique Bau fillings, all delicious. We also had the lettuce wraps, eggplant and Laksa. All amazing. Wish we had this restaurant back home.

Starting with a greeting from Dan (the owner) and ending with mouthwatering dessert, this place has some of the best flavors. For the appetizer, we ordered shrimp spring rills, that were light and flavorful, especially with a peanut sauce. The main dishes ordered were branzino, grilled baby octopus and bbq eggplant. It is tough to say which one was the best because they are all fantastic. The branzino’s broth and bbq eggplant sauce needed a spoon to collect all of it from the plate. Simply amazing. Dan spoiled us with Vietnamese donut, which made my son lick the plate. Strongly recommend this restaurant. We will definitely be back with friends.

Delicious food, generously portioned, elegantly presented, in rather too cosy a setting. I had a papaya salad and baby octopus, both very good and the latter a bit spicy. My spouse choose meaty dishes and left very satisfied with his choice. The host (and owner) is very attentive to his guests and hospitable, making time spent there memorable and personal. Service is fast and effective.

The food is great. We had the chicken pot stickers (which my friend thought were the best she’s ever had), the fried chicken bao, ramen with perfectly cooked noodles, pad Thai and a take on bread pudding that wasn’t bread pudding IMO. The restaurant is very small, but the food is worth another trip whether dining in or for takeout.

Our experience was amazing. Small and cozy restaurant, which is well staffed including the friendly and highly attentive owner (Dan) hosting you. Wonderful menu, but not overwhelming. The food was incredible-fresh, authentic and affordable! Go here-you won’t regret it.

We had a tremendous experience at Saigon Sisters. This is a very small restaurant, and the service is very good and personal. The owner stopped by several times to make sure things were good, and moved us to a different table since we were initially seated near the door on a cold day. The food was outstanding - definitely some of the best Vietnamese food we've had. The price was reasonable. I would definitely recommend the Sriracha Wings, the eggplant and the Bun Bo Hue. Also, the VBQ Beef Bhan Bao was wonderful.

I haven't been back to Saigon Sisters in a very long time so coming back was a pleasure. I met a friend there and was greeted warmly by the owner, Dan. He has a good memory for faces. We were determining the last time I was there and I mentioned the server who always served me. He said he hadn't worked there for 7 years. I looked in my calendar to see, really, when the last time I was there, and it was 7 years ago! Dan served us that night and we asked for recommendations from him as he would know best. We had many glasses of the Cotes du Rhone, the branzino, papaya salad and for dessert the coconut corn ice cream and Vietnamese coffee flan. Everything was delicious as expected. I will definitely be back sooner than 7 years from that visit.

The food was delicious! Very chill ambience. The Bao buns were so cute and delicious. The craft cocktails were great too (a little small for $15) but that is Chicago. 100% would eat here again.

Awesome. The sous chef came out and the kitchen basically created a tasting menu accommodating several of the party who don’t eat meat. It was amazing.

This has been my go to restaurant for the past 2 years. I've brought so many coworkers and friends here and all were satisfied. Saigon Sister's staff and the owner Dan have always been so welcoming. I will miss eating here. Must tries here are the Fried Chicken Spring rolls, Pork Belly and Sweet & Spicy Fried Chicken Bahn bao, and all the desserts! All Entrees are great! I never get tired of the Chicken House Fried Rice, Vietnamese Ramen, Pho, and Green Curry. You won't be disappointed when eating here no matter the time of day.

The food was so good! There is a great variety of items to pick from and all so fresh tasting. It was very quaint, well lit, and easy to talk to the other person at my table. The staff were very friendly and helpful in figuring out what to eat - I will definitely return and recommend this to anyone who likes great, fresh Asian food.
