The restaurant and bar area have sweeping views over the parks and city of Adelaide. We all chose the barramundi and it was delicious. If you like a view with your meal I would recommend this place to dine at.

We were the first table seated at 6 o’clock. There many staffs walking back-and-forth in the restaurant, but seems only the female floor staff knows what she’s doing and care to approach us for order. Drinks arrived quickly, but we have waited at least one hour before our main course came, it was 7:30 pm by the time. The same female staff came to apologize for the wait. The pasta was ok, but the steaks were overcooked and burnt. We shared our feedback when they asked, and they came back and said it was the charcoal not burnt. Don’t think so. Oh, for always way below expectation for the time we waited and quality of food we were told the kitchen team was still in training, but we ain’t paid for a dinner Saturday night in atraining restaurant.

This is the second time booking a high tea at the Skyline Restaurant. It did not disappoint. Service was on point and all of house made sweet and savoury items were truly delicious. Overlooking Adelaide, a lovely couple of hours, with my great friends.

Excellent food. Wonderful setting for a restaurant. Service quite disappointing. A 15 minute wait for a cocktail to be prepared is not encouraging. Then the hors d'oeuvres and entree arrived before the wine. The food, when it came, was extremely good. But once it arrived we never sighted our waitress again, so were never invited to take more wine, nor dessert, nor coffee. And then we found ourselves obliged to approach the cashier to settle the bill, instead of having it brought to us. The wait staff altogether are in great need of a deal more and better training.

Myself and my friend booked in for the High Tea. Greeted when we arrived Sparkling wine was given on arrival. Bottle of water also placed on the table on arrival. Service was professional, friendly and prompt. We did not have to wait very long for a generous platter of finger food to be placed on our table. Everything tasted lovely. We enjoyed a pot of tea. Left feeling happy and very full.

I booked a high tea for 2. My mon and i loved it! Savoury and sweets were so delicious. Service was amazing. The waitress kept asking if we needed more drink. It was very lovely of her. Overall, we had the best high tea experience at Skyline. It was our first time to visit Skyline too, so i highly recommend it.

We dined at Skyline for the first time and, unfortunately, left feeling disappointed. When I made the booking through the website, there were 2- and 3-course dinner options advertised at a fixed price. However, upon arrival, these were no longer available, and staff informed us they had been removed. There was no indication on the website that this was a limited-time promotion, which made the experience quite frustrating. The food itself was just average—we’ve definitely had better steaks at other restaurants. Service was also fairly standard and didn’t stand out. Overall, the experience didn’t meet expectations.
