   Only issue is the paring and having to pay. Don’t mind tipping but should not be mandatory if other parking is not available.

   The bartenders were extremely helpful and pleasant. I loved the music choice playing. And we cleaned our plates, the meal was delicious. I absolutely recommend!

   Great experience as always at Ruggles. Food came out very quickly. We tried the scallops and they were INCREDIBLE!!!! When I’m dieting the Keto margarita is always a go to WIN. Ruggles is one of the best restaurants in Houston

   Food was excellent. I had the ribs and the kale and arugula salad. I also had the spicy margarita and I enjoyed that as well. I can't wait to go back and try more of the menu items.

    The service was slow. We have not been here in a few years. The new location is ok... I remember the food being better. It's nice that they have keto, paleo, and healthy versions.

    We were able to get seating outdoors. It was a cold night but the heaters help us warm and the tenting. I have dined at Ruggles for years and it never disappoints. Love the food and ambiance.

    Amazing food and ambience. Only concern was how long it took to drop of our car and then receive our car to leave with valet. Definitely come early due to valet parking issues (limited space).

    Amazing food. Menu full of options from keto, paleo and cbd options. The dessert menu is definitely a must see. Great place for date or special occasion. It is loud so sometimes hard to hear when a full crowd.

    Love the different flavors. Service was excellent. Was relatively empty when we got there and filled up quickly. Was seated in back and even though we were on the side, the tables in the middle didn’t leave enough room behind me so servers kept hitting me every time they walked past. Guess that’s normal for them. Needless to say, it was annoying especially for a place where we spent a good amount for a nice meal.

    I would eat here more often if they had no Valet. I have had my car damaged in the past and most recently was harassed by the attendants. Food and ambiance: tasty and fun. Valet ruins the experience, unfortunately.

    Honestly, have been waiting for this place to drop the ball and have an off night. But every time we go, they are consistently fantastic and have yet to disappoint! Food is incredible, knowledgeable about food allergies, and service is top notch. Love this place!

    So incredibly disappointed…. Ruggles black has been one of my fiancé and I’s favorite restaurants for years especially when they were at their old location. Food was outstanding as always—however the service was so bad tonight we were in disbelief. Our waitress was SO slow which usually I can be sympathetic to, I’ve worked in the food industry for a LONG time and know Saturdays can be crazy. However, we were sitting on the patio and it was not particularly busy for a Saturday… especially the patio area. Anyways, our waitress was the worst I’ve had in a really long time. I don’t remember her telling us her name but just horrifically slow & super unapologetic about it. Literally it felt like 30 mins would pass without her checking on us sometimes. Food took FOREVER to come out… and came out all separately between the four of us… I’m talking like 5 minutes apart. I suspect she forgot to put it in. THEN my fiancés steak was over cooked so after taking 10 mins to flag her down he had to get a whole new steak which took even longer. Then when we finally all had our food she never refilled drinks. After eating it took about 30 mins to find her to ask for a dessert menu/ the dessert tray. When we finally were able to order & the dessert came out she didn’t bring us plates or spoons. Had to flag down another server and ask for spoons. She never brought them either lol. Then finally we saw our waitress again and she brought us 1 plate for 4 people and 2 spoons??? So yeah we all shared our melted ice cream lava cake with two spoons. Then as the cherry on top some other guests pointed out to us that there was a rat running around the patio and to our surprise there was a mouse and a rat fighting for scraps. After the horrible service we experienced though that was honestly the least of my worries to tell you the truth, at least it was entertaining. It was so embarrassing to bring our friends somewhere we rave about just to have the worst experience for a $200 tab.
