    BEST RESTAURANT IN LOUISIANA , the food was immaculate service was a little iffy but the food was the best food I ever had after being born and raised in New Orleans for this restaurant to top everything the bbq shrimp melted in my mouth the steak was perfectly seasoned and juicy wow I am thoroughly impressed ❤️

    Ruffino's is usually our go to for an enjoyable meal that is convenience. Unfortunately this visit was not typical. We were likely the first diners of the evening with a 5pm reservation. The food was a bit slow coming out of the kitchen and our broccoli was not cooked, not even to al dente standards. On the plus side, our servers were exceptionally nice and attentive. We will dine there again, though, as this was likely just an isolated incident.

    The food and service was absolutely perfect. Obviously this is no fault of the staffs, but halfway through our meal a large party came in that were hollering and being very loud and obnoxious. At that point my husband and I wrapped it up and left pretty quickly as we could t hear each other talk at times (they were sat very close to us so it was very loud.) But again, you cannot hold the restaurant at fault for the behaviors of obnoxious guest. We fully intend to return and really enjoyed the food

    food was good, the servers where nice and sweet but not very prepared to serve a table in a restaurant like that. they took our appetizers and didn’t even ask if we were done eating, the girl that served the wine almost put the glass on my plate… again they were very, very nice but it was obvious for me that they didn’t get any training. the decor needs some improvements as well. the brownie with vanilla ice cream was delicious.

    Our two waiters were great. The restaurant was very loud. It was hard to hear my partner speak right next to me The food was lackluster, and it was not worth the high price. I had the tchoupitoulas and the pork chop was very over cooked and served with some bland dry mashed potatoes. We had the duck fingers appetizer, and it had no flavor. I liken the taste to frozen chicken tenders. The drink prices were also not worth the size of the drinks. Mixed drinks are about 8 ounces and start at $14.

    Went for Sunday brunch with the family. The bread and salads are great. The chicken and waffles were good, according to my son. The eggplant was ok, according to my wife. It's not as good as it used to be years ago. It has been about 2 years since we dined here. The filet was terrible. Two of us had filet and both had no flavor whatsoever . There was a small amount of melted butter on plate , but that did nothing to help. It tasted like boiled meat or microwaved meat for a lack of better description. There was no outer crust or grill or skillet marks. It was gray with a few black specks of maybe pepper. I would have to say probably the worst tasting filet in my life. I covered it in pepper and salt from the table to even eat it. My son agreed. I have had filet here before,.. like 2 years ago... and this was nothing like it! I hope this is not the norm for this place now. I would not eat steak again here.

    First time at the BR Ruffino’s. It’s decidedly less upscale than the Lafayette location. Not sure if they want to be an nice restaurant or a sports bar. Doesn’t Baton Rouge have enough sports bars? Anyway, service was good. Drinks were OK. The wine list is rather sparse. Food was pretty good. Although our reservations were @ 7:30, we were the only diners in the whole place at 9PM.

    Just hasn’t been the same the last few times we’ve been. Used to be my favorite restaurant in Baton Rouge. Food is okay. Service isn’t great. Prices definitely do not reflect the experience.

    Unfortunately due to lent there were no steak specials so we ordered off the regular menu. My son had the 12oz filet and I had the 16oz ribeye with BBQ shrimp. We both ordered them medium, his came out correct mine was slightly under cooked and had a good bit of fat around it. Flavors were less than average, I’ve eaten really delicious steaks here before. My wife had the chicken Alfredo and didn’t really care for it. Unfortunately this was not a very good trip and I believe it’ll be quite a while before we go back again. The bill was $140 and I don’t feel that either steak was worth spending over $50 on.

    Our drink waiter and waiter were excellent! The food was good. It was in comfortably cold in the area we were in, so that wasn’t pleasant. Also at some point the music became very loud. Not sure why, but we nearly said something about it. Otherwise everything was excellent!

    Shelly is a friend. He greeted and seated us. Shelly was aware of my seating request and assigned us the perfect spot. Nicholi was our waiter and did a great job.
