Rose's Cafe is a wonderful neighborhood restaurant. The service is excellent. Wide variety of foods and drinks. The food was very good. We had the cauliflower soup, butter lettuce salad, margherita pizza and apple crisp. The pizza had a very thin crust. Delicious, but very thin. The exceptional foods we had were the soup and dessert. Will definitely be back to try more dishes.

Rose’ Cafe never disappoints. I took friends there for the first time, and they were amazed at how good the food was, how great the service was, but how relatively inexpensive the meal was. One of us had the roasted half chicken, and it was superb.

My friend and I walked up to Rose's Cafe coming from different directions and we both immediately said how cute the place was. We were first time visitors and had a reservation for Restaurant Week in November '23. We'd chosen inside seating though I think outside wouldn't have been so bad even on a slightly foggy night. For food/drink, we did the 3 course RW special, getting one each of the first and second courses, the one dessert and the wine pairing. First course was Grilled Apple Bruscetta and an Arugula salad paired with Sauv Blanc. Main Course was Red Snapper with Brussels and Beef Bolognese Penne with a Spanish red. Dessert was pistachio Panna Cotta with a tasty port. We were constantly commenting on how good everything was. And the staff was all very friendly and accomodating. I can't recall there being any sound issues, with groups to either side of us but I'll assume it was moderate. We could hear and speak just fine throughout the meal.

I love Rose's. It's high end without being pretentious and the food is always wonderful. I've been there many times and always have a great experience whether I'm inside or outside. I highly recommend it.

We love sitting outside with our dog and having a nice meal here. The staff were very attentive and the food was great, especially the heirloom tomato salad. My only tiny quibble is I wish they had even one or two less expensive wine by the glass options … all were $17 and up. Makes for a pricey casual dinner. Next time I will save room for dessert which looked delicious.

Haven't been to SF since before the pandemic, but now that we can travel again, we were overjoyed to see that Rosie's is still going strong. The steelhead special was outstanding.

We sat outside under the heat lamps, the experience was pleasant and the food and service was excellent! The burgers and steak were delicious, nothing beats the aroma of a wood fire prepared foods!

Outstanding fare and service (thanks, Jackie)! Everything from the cocktail and wine and beer on tap, to the salads, and the pastas, (margherita) pizza, steelhead (salmon), and to the raspberry sorbet, was super! Also appreciated being able to have a fried egg put on the pizza. The patio, with the guest-adjustable heating, was very comfortable.

Perfect setting, easy to get to via Muni, Butter lettuce Salad, Steelhead Trout, Garlic Fried Potatoes, and Lave Cake were delicious, and prepared with very fresh ingredients. I will go back, and Roses is now one of my "go-to" restaurants in the city.

One of San Francisco's very best restaurants! The quality of anything on the menu is very high. The Roman-style pizza is fabulous. Salads, pastas, baked goods, cocktails - they all rock too! Open from breakfast to dinner time! Friendly and attentive staff, many of whom have been with Rose's for quite some time now. Indoor seating, or in the patio or under the canopy in the front (with heaters), or in the two parklets. And in a neighborhood that lets you combine a meal at Rose's with other activities.

We live in the neighborhood and didn't go much because we thought it was mostly pizza but during restaurant week they really stepped up. I love the ambiance, the service was nice but the food was really good. Short ribs were divine. Love the wine pairing. We will be back more frequently

I love this restaurant! First went here before the pandemic with a friend who lives nearby, and this is my first time back since then. Did not disappoint! Service was fantastic, we got a huge basked of foccacia "for the table" -- at no cost -- and it was fabulous focaccia at that. All the dishes were diving as well. Can't wait to come back!
