   We are from Las Vegas and have never, ever had better food or a better dining experience! We are world travelers and yet have never experienced an atmosphere or entertainment like we did last night at Ross Negra. Everyone in this restaurant makes you feel welcomed. The professionalism and pride they have here with their food, heritage, and celebration of life, has never made me feel more proud to be Mexican. Thank You to our beautiful servers, DJ, hostess girls, the gentleman who’s gift is the element of fire, his two assistants and manager. Thank you!

   We went to Rosa Negra in 2021 and had a good experience so we decided to return on this trip. It was not quite as good the second time. I think one thing that soured our group on the experience a lot was the huge increase in prices. I am not sure why this has occurred but it seems to be across all the restaurants in this group and a trend in the Hotel Zone overall. I have eaten at excellent restaurants for much less in Hawaii, so you have to ask yourself is it worth it to still come to Cancun if you are paying Hawaii prices? This is something our group is asking ourselves and I have been going to Cancun annually for 30 years. But about the restaurant, the food was overall liked by most in our group but few people loved their food. I did not finish my pasta dish because it was over cooked and clumped together. They do not have a kids menu and my son is allergic to dairy and eggs so we ended up not ordering food for him (luckily I fed him something beforehand). They had a fire show at 9:30 pm which we enjoyed and one of the kind ladies working the show danced with my 10 year old son. This restaurant is a lot about the show and the party atmosphere so go if you are looking for that.

    The food was great risotto with beef (chefs kiss) the waiter and the guys at the table AMAZING! the hostess need work. that was our biggest issue. We were a party of 3 and They put us at a table literally in front of walk up of stairs. When I asked to be moved they made us wait because they said all tables were reserved and the only table they had for us was the one we didn’t want. While waiting, my husband asked about a particular table. The hostess said where we wanted was reserved and then I asked they said it’s for adults. While waiting I decided to research There is absolutely no way to reserve tables. I went back to the hostess she got the manager involved after 45 mins they gave us a table they finagled to make it work. But it didn’t work once they saw how upset I was, my husband explained the situation, We got the table that we asked originally that sat empty for 45 mins. You need better hostess everyone else was amazing

    For all the times that I visited this restaurant this time was the worst time ever, they switch our table 3 times , drinks took forever and it was not even busy, our tomahawk was very cold, our lobster was no utensils and they brought the butter when we are done with the food, for sure is the last time that we visited the restaurant, usually we recommend the restaurant to everyone.

    It’s a spectacular place. The presentation of the dishes is immaculate. Great inventive cocktails and delicious dishes and honestly the best dessert we’ve ever had (cinnamon roll with vanilla ice cream). The view is absolutely breathtaking and the service is fantastic. The manager was very helpful and very knowledgeable.

    The ambiance scenery was off the charts beautiful. One of the most beautiful restaurants I have ever been in. If weather permitting, definitely sit outside for dinner. The food could have been better. We ordered two steaks, neither of which came out the first time at the temperature we asked for. The steak was also not seasoned well. We were hoping the food would be better, considering it is on the pricier side. But it was still better than a lot of other places. Definitely a nice place to go for romantic occasions.

    Restaurant is beautiful, my food was really good, my husband said he can cook better pasta, but they overcharge you, be aware!! I would not recommend it, I don’t like to be scammed. They overcharged us USD 8 per margarita. Also, we were supposed to be given a 10% discount (partnership with our hotel) and it was not included in our bill. Call us naive, but we’re honest people and we’re not used to have to check every single item on the bill, if the total amount makes some kind of sense, we’re fine with it. Bottom line, be extra cautious if you want to go to this restaurant. THEY WILL TRY TO SCAM YOU.

    Nuestra experiencia en Rosa Negra, Cancún estuvo muy buena. Ambiente, servicio, vista y tragos espectaculares. El restaurante es hermoso y durante el atardecer un recuerdo para siempre. Fui con mi esposo a celebrar nuestro aniversario, la pasamos riquísimo, probamos cócteles a base de mezcal exquisitos, 100 de 100. Pedimos dos entradas, el Ceviche Peruano estuvo rico, pero no de sabores elevados, no Gourmet. El Elote Callejero, para nada nos gusto, lo devolvimos, sin sabor natural a maíz, pero el Manager nos pidió disculpas y no fue incluido en la cuenta, ya que no estuvo a nuestro gusto, un buen detalle de responsabilidad y atención al cliente. Pedimos de plato principal, Rib Eye - con ensalada y dos contornos, sabores “plain” bastante OK - nada de sabores elevados que esperarías en este tipo de restaurantes. El postre fue cortesía de la casa por motivo de nuestro aniversario, lindo gesto. Estuvo rico era un sponge cake de chocolate. En resumen excelente restaurante por su ambiente y atención. Comida puede ser mejor y con sabores más gastronómicos.

    I went to Rosa Negra for my birthday dinner and it did not disappoint the staff was superb, so friendly, service was beyond expectations! Our server Ricardo was so amazing, attentive and enthusiastic about his job and helping his customers. Like service was beyond my expectations, the fire show that was put on was amazing, the music, the ambience. I wish restaurants in American could be like this. The one thing that made this whole experience so memorable and amazing wasn’t just the delectable food, the amazing drinks or the wonderful display and dessert I received for my birthday celebration but it was the fact that as soon as we sat, throughout dinner and even at the end the manager for Rosa Negra Ofel came and introduced himself, checked in on us and even at the end shook our hands and thanked us for dining. What an amazing touch to add to an already extraordinary dining experience. I will always go to any of the establishment in the RosaNegra group and especially back to this particular establishment and tell all my friends and anyone who will listen what an amazing experience this was.

    The entertain was amazing and definitely what we were looking for to celebrate my sister’s graduation. However, it took over a hour to get our food which was ridiculous. The host/manager was very apologetic and gave us 2 complimentary bottles of champagne. The food was very good when it finally arrived.

    Great food and amazing service. This was our third of Rosa Negra Groups restaurants and they are all stellar. We particularly liked the music and we go earlier than most to catch the sunsets. Salmon was delicious and desserts over the top. Blueberry Cheesecake!
