Romano's Macaroni Grill - Henrietta
If your AC isnt working and its 100 degrees out, close your damn resteraunt. Your poor staff was sweating like crazy and the patrons were miserable. It was too hot to enjoy the food, service, or atmosphere. We couldn't leave as we had a large group with kids.
The food was good but I feel you are way over priced for just a dish of pasta..
Very disappointed with the food. No dining experience, order and rush you out. Even on a slow Saturday night.
This restaurant has marked me as a no show on open table three times when I've never missed a reservation! I'm going go to a different restaurant in the future because they can't get it right and obviously can't use technology
A group of old friends met up and had a wonderful time. The staff was very friendly and did not rush use as we stayed for 4 hours between bar time and dinner. The food was fine and overall we had a great time.
Very good! Nice waitress.
I’ve eaten here many times but moved away 3 years ago. Was in town and took my sister in law and my family there to celebrate a birthday. It was one of the hottest days in July and the AC was not on. Asked the manager if it was in and he lied and simply said yes it was but no further explanation. My daughter spoke with a staff member who said they had just turned it on. Our waitress was not attentive, never refilled our waters, poured a sip of the wine for each of us to taste instead of just one of us and when told it was fine never filled our glasses with a full serving. My daughter ordered a dish with Alfredo sauce but there was nothing resembling Alfredo in her dish. Otherwise the food was good but the overall experience left much to be desired and I probably won’t go back to this restaurant next time I visit.
We love going to Macaroni Grill. It is quiet enough for conversation without having to struggle to hear each other, the food is consistently delicious, and the servers can’t do enough to accommodate our requests. It is always a delightful experience and the friends join us there feel the same way.
Everything went well and as planned! Great job & thanks!! Mark
Thanks Macaroni Grill!!
We came up to Rochester from Brooklyn/Charlotte respectfully for our daughter's college graduation and she loves Italian, so i figured perfect spot!!
Food was brought out fast, hot and delish! Our server Tori was super amazing and attentive! Thank you Tori for helping us make this a remembered Bday
We have dined at Macaroni Grill several times and it is unfailingly good. The food is well prepared and presented. I rate it as good, judging against the standard of the very best restaurants. I don’t think Macaroni Grill holds itself out to be pretentious: it serves well prepared traditional Italian food and it never disappoints.
Waitress was attentive but kitchen messed up the order twice. Food was good, not great. Typical of recent visits to this restaurant .
I really enjoyed Romano's Macaroni Grill. I have been there several times over the years and have never been disappointed. The Mac and cheese was perfect. The bread and the drinks were great. Service also good! Will certainly return.
Our waiter was Rush. He was excellent. He served our party of 5 while also serving another very large party and did a great job. He was friendly and knowledgeable.
Nothing fancy or exceptional, but a good place for lunch.
We had a reservation for 630 but weren't seated until 45 mins after our time. They sat a family that came in after us first. The soup was cold and my food had an overpowering grill taste. I understand it was mothers day and they were busy but that is why we made the reservation. Very disappointed. Our server was extremely pleasant though and kept apologizing for the kitchen being backed up. We have dined here before and it was enjoyable but we will be avoiding in the future on particularly busy days as they don't seem to be able to handle it well. Never once did a manager come over to apologize for the wait. Even the hostess had lost control of all the people that were waiting. We were standing near several angered groups of people who had reservations as well.
Went on Mother's Day, so we expected it to be busy with longer than usual wait times, as we've gone on this day in the past, but it was a disaster. Seated pretty quickly with our reservation, but bit of a wait before we were approached by our waitress and given menus. Long wait time for drinks, plus wrong size wine for me, dirty wine glass for my husband. Bit of a wait for our soup/salads. Waitress was hustling, but we didn't see her often -- too many tables to juggle?? When she did come by, she kept apologizing for the delay, and offered us more bread. Long wait for our entrees, more offers of bread. She got my daughter's order wrong, my husbands meal was barely warm, and son's pizza was half burned. By the time we left, it was almost 2.5 hours after our arrival. Both son and husband had bad stomach aches later that night. We'll have second thoughts about going back, at least, not on holidays. Hard to tell how much of our experience was due to a ditzy waitress or over-busy kitchen. We usually have a good experience.
6 family traveling from Albany back home to Niagara Canada and stopped for late Mother’s Day lunch.
Pleasant experience and everyone enjoyed their food and service was great.
Would stop again for another meal when traveling by Rochester.
The spinach dip appetizer was cold. The wine didn’t get there until after our food did.
The mussels and lobster bisque appetizers were delicious. I was pleased with the wine selection and our waitress was friendly and very helpful with suggestions. We tried three different entrees and each of us was very pleased with the meal. It was easy to make a reservation and we were seated very quickly.
Food was excellent. Service was a little slow but there were some big parties that all seated about the same time which may have slowed things down. Overall very nice experience at this restaurant.
A great meal for a good price.
Great Italian food at a reasonable prices. Miss this restaurant. There used to be one in Baltimore.
Reservation for 5:30, we arrived early. It was not busy at all so we were seated right away. sat for 35 min and no one even took a drink order or offered water. We walked out. Others were seated after us and drink orders were take for them. We were basically ignored.
We enjoyed the good food and wine selection. There wasn't a valve bottle of red that we liked. However the red house wine was excellent. The dark wood and oven fires created a warm cozy atmosphere. Our server was attentive and meal presentation was on par with any upscale restaurant. I will definitely be going again.
Dennis was our service and was very helpful. We had two different wines that was very good. Our salads and raviolis were excellent.
Good menu just pass on the oranccini.
Service very good . Salad deliscious. Out of 10people I was the only one dissatisfied.
Donald was excellent. ..the meal was delicious. ..a group of children were very noisy. ..chaperones did not control them ..
The food was expensive, lacking in quantity, and we left hungry.
Soup served look-warm. Had to ask for refills of coffee and coke. Food good but pricing does not convey value
We had reservations through Open Table for 6:30 and were seated around 7:15. We made reservations because we have two young children and wait times, not at a table, are not pleasant. Server was great but appeared to have too many table. Food took over an hour to be served. Bread was not provided until right before meals arrived. I had to walk to the bar to get water refills for my children. It seemed to be a rough night at the restaurant, the manager came out and was apologizing to the tables around us. Food was good, server tried hard, we should have been seated closer to 6:30, the long seat for food was too long.
Made an online reservation and was seated rather quickly, but it took a while for waiter to come and get our drink order and than we waited a while longer for drinks with no bread or water offered, all the while being passed by hostesses and other waiters. We noticed other tables around us waiting as well who had the same waiter, but there were other waiters attending to tables nearby that seemed to be more responsive. Took a while longer to get soup. When our dinner came mine was the wrong item and my husband's lasagna was warm at best. Our waiter, Rush was personable and corrected the issue, but it was just another wait. When tables near us left we noticed it took some time for them to be cleared for another seating. We were sitting near the corner of the restaurant so I don't know if we were forgotten. The issue may have been that it was rather busy, so the restaurant should have been better staffed. Also, I opted to pack up my leftovers myself as I had walked by a counter towards the bar and bathrooms and it looked like other peoples leftovers were sitting there to be packaged, but were left unattended.
Yes the service was good and the was very delicious. I would definitely come back
Excellent food, attentive waiter who had to improvise because the pads to enable you to "create your own" pasta dish were unavailable. Our Open Table reservation allowed us to be seated right away.
Me and boyfriend went on Valentine’s Day and had the $20 Riesling bottle I had the lamb and he had steak and potatoes. John was so amazing and and attentive.elite service and comfortable atmosphere!
The Macaroni Grill is always a delight. From the food to the service. My only issue this time around was the second loaf of bread for the table while hot was very hard.
Food quality has declined significantly over the last 6 months. The restaurant itself is also showing wear and tear. There is a cracked mirror in the men’s room for example.
Our waiter, Dennis was great. One of our party had an attack (ended up a kidney stone) and he reacted very quickly and without drama to get the couple out.
