Food was delicious. Little warm inside the restaurant but it’s the beginning of summer in Fl so… wait staff was amazing and very polite. Little pricey but worth it for a nice local getaway date night dinner

Seems like this place is new. The food was pretty good and bartenders were great but everything else left a lot to be desired. Had an 8:00 PM reservation and wasn’t seated until 8:30. We ordered our food and after 30 minutes with no food on the table we had to request chips and guacamole. A free appetizer should always be provided if the wait for food is that long. Any other latin themed restaurant would have provided chips and guacamole or queso the same way an italian restaurant would provide bread. We had 5 people in the group and only one person ordered alcohol, yet the bill was over $200 which seems to be a lot for tacos.

Limited menu for cinco de mayo, the food wasn’t as good as it used to be. Service was slow and terrible. Was supposed to have djs, drink specials and giveaways; didn’t happen

The food was not good. The short ribs were so tough I couldn’t cut them even with a knife. The chicken enchiladas weren’t much better.

Worst chips and salsa I’ve ever had. I knew based on that alone not to trust the food, so we paid after a few chips and left. Wont return.

I’m not really a Mexican food fan. But we decided to try something different. We were pleasantly surprised! The food was delicious!!! It was authentic and perfectly seasoned. The service was stellar. We will be back!

Food was amazing. Place was a little dark. Only complaint is the bar was when you walk in. It was loud and people would not move out of the way to walk to the table. You had to push your way through.

Since it was on Valentine's day they had a limited menu. It would have been nice to know that when we were making the reservations. The service was good, although it took a while for the food to come out. The chips, salsa, and guac was a bit expensive, considering most Mexican restaurants serve the chips and salsa for free. We will probably try it again on a regular night to see if it was just the heavier than usual volume that slowed the kitchen down.

We were in the West Palm Beach area for a family celebration and chose Rivales as the venue. We met with the manager, Elisa, ahead of the party to pre-select some of the food items and discuss details. She was extremely helpful and professional. She also made us feel very appreciated. When we arrived later that evening, everything was ready and set up as we had discussed. Our server, Michael, was great. He was efficient and professional. He remembered everyone’s orders perfectly. Everyone liked him very much. The food was delicious. The drinks were wonderful. It is truly a “craft bar.” Everything is made on premises and it is obvious. It is absolutely a neighborhood gem.
