I made reservations well in advance to celebrate special night. We waited almost 30 minutes after our reservation to be finally seated downstairs. The table location was not that great and the service was even slower. The restaurant is way too busy out front and not organized. The food we ordered was just ok. Just wasn’t a great experience to be honest.

Feel very mixed about it, some dishes wheee really nice, others like very disappointing. The cacio e pepe tastes great but was stodgy and not creamy. And I’m sorry but service was not there, so may waiters yet no one checked how the food was (I would have mentioned the parmigiana was cold).

Waited over an hour for our food. The steak came out very rare when asked for medium. The gnocchi was sub par, but the sausage in the dish was mostly uncooked. It was a cool atmosphere and friendly staff (when they eventually acknowledged my gestures). Overall I would enjoy drinks here but that’s about it.

First if you are reading this and wondering of you should go to this restaurant DON'T GO. Really expected more of this restaurant because of the history it has. Wine was mid. Food was okay. Service was really bad except for a peruvian girl that just made the evening lovely and because of her Im not giving a two star review just because the service was bad. We had a reservation at 8:30 and they made us wait at the entrance for 20 minutes, the point of a reservation is you don't wait, you know we are coming why aren't you ready? And they did't even have the reserve ready, really bad, and then they sat us in the upper area that's okay but we chose the restaurant because of the scenery and it was a special ocassion, we had to ask to be moved because it wasn't a regular dinner. Then the waiter came twice, to tale the order and ask for dessert, the rest was donde by a peruvian lovely girl that thank her Im not giving such a bad review because the rest of the service was bad. I will upload photos of the food because it was actually okay but service and waiting killed all the nice flavors to be honest.
